Lennon and Marley both shook their heads.

“You two are a fuckin’ nightmare.” Len looked at me. “We just had to practically sit on him when he saw some bloke touch you on the dance floor.”

I smiled up at him and wrapped my arms around his neck. “Did they, baby? Did you get jealous?”

“Yes, I told you this morning I get jealous. I hate the thought of you even talking to other blokes, let alone them touching you.” I kissed him hard on the mouth. “You look stunning, G, fucking gorgeous,” he said against my mouth.

Before I could answer, Ashley called out, “Oi, George, you gonna do the honours or what, babe?”

I smiled at her bluntness. “Of course, sorry, how rude of me,” I said in my best ‘proper’ English accent.

She came over and stood beside me so we could link arms. “Ashley, this is my boyfriend, Sean, and this is my brother, Marley. Lennon you already know, and Jimmie is just Jimmie… Boys, I don’t know if you remember Ash from school? I think you might have already left by the time she started, but anyway, this is my good friend, work colleague, and birthday girl, Ashley Morris.”

“Happy Birthday, darlin’,” Sean said and gave her a kiss on the cheek.

“Wow! I mean thanks… Thank you, and thanks for coming. Love your work by the way. Sorry, I know it’s your night off, but I just wanted to get that out there.”

Sean just smiled and said, “Not a problem, and thanks for the invite.”

But Ashley was no longer listening. She was looking at Marley and Marley was looking right back at her with his mouth almost hanging open to the floor. Sean used the back of his hand under Marley’s bottom jaw and closed it.

Marl’s eyes wandered over to me, and he swallowed before he moved his eyes back to her. “Happy Birthday, Ashley. You’re beautiful.”

“Okaaay,” Jimmie said and grabbed my arm. I, in turn, grabbed Sean’s, and we all turned in the opposite direction and left the lust-struck couple to swoon. Sean and I stood and chatted with Jimmie and Lennon. There was a continuous flow of people that came over to talk to all of us. There were a few people from school, some Sean recalled and others he didn’t, but they all remembered him and Marley, who was still at the end of the bar drooling over Ash.

After about an hour, Sean grabbed my hand and said into my ear, “Come and dance with me.” He pulled me to the dance floor where one of my favourite songs was playing, Soul 11 Soul’s “Back to life”.

Sean and I had only ever slow danced together. This song was too fast for a slow dance and too slow for a fast dance, but we managed. Sean pulled my back into his chest. I ground my arse into his crotch. He held me flush up against him by splaying his hand over my belly, and with his other hand, he moved my hair and scraped his teeth over my bare shoulder all the way to my nape. I lifted my arm and curled it back around his neck, continuing with the grinding of my arse right into his rock hard cock.

“Fuck, Gia, I need to be inside you. Is there somewhere we can go?”

I turned around to face him and pulled his hips into mine, lost in the way he was looking at me for a few moments. I grabbed his hand and went in search of Bailey. Luckily, his office was upstairs, and I didn’t have to drag Sean through the crowd downstairs. I knocked on Bailey’s door and opened it before he replied. He looked up from his paperwork, and I gave him my best smile.

“What?” he asked because he knew the way that big brothers do that the look I was giving him meant I wanted something.

  “Maca.” He nodded at Sean.

  “Big brother Bailey?”

  “What d’ya want, George?”

  “This room.”

  “What?”

“This room. Can we borrow this room for like—”

  “Twenty minutes,” Sean jumped in.

Bailey looked from me to Sean and back to Sean again.

“You’re seriously asking to borrow my office to fuck my sister in, Maca? You’ve got some balls.”

“Bail’s please. We’ve got a lot of making up to do. I’ll owe you big time, pleeease,” I whined.

He sighed, stood up from his desk, and threw me the keys. “Fifteen minutes, don’t make a mess, and I want ten tickets with backstage passes for your next concert.”

“Cheers mate, not a problem. You can have twenty—fifty even!” Sean shouted as Bailey left.

I locked the door behind him. As I turned around, Sean was on me, his mouth slammed into mine, his tongue pushed inside, hungrily seeking mine. He unzipped my leather dress, and because it was strapless and fully lined, it slid down my body to the floor. I wasn’t wearing a bra, so I was standing in the office that my dad shared with my brother in my knee-high boots and black lace knickers. I stepped out of my dress as Sean watched me.

“Fifteen minutes, G. What can we manage in fifteen minutes d’ya think?” He licked up the inside of my arm and sucked on the inside of my elbow, and I shuddered as he dragged his teeth over the soft, sensitive flesh. “Bend over that desk and put your arse in the air.”

I shuddered again, this time from pure unadulterated desire. Coke always made me horny, and that night it did so more than ever. It took me just three steps to reach the desk, but the sensation caused by the friction of my thighs rubbing together and the lace from my knickers pushed me closer and closer to an orgasm. I ached so badly I just wanted him inside.

I did precisely as Sean requested. I leant forward on the desk, put my arse in the air, and spread my legs, waiting. I heard his zipper going down, and I groaned quietly, unable to stop my hips from gyrating towards him. He leant over me and wrapped my hair around his hand, pulling it just enough to make me moan.

He bit down on my shoulder then said, “I’m gonna fuck you, G. I’m gonna fuck you hard and fast and make us both see stars, and then later, when I get you home in bed alone, I’m gonna make love to you. I’m gonna worship you and start making up for the past four years, but right now… Right now, we both need this.” He pulled my knickers to one side, and I bucked and ground into him. I could feel his cock at the top of my arse crack, and I panicked for a minute at what he thought he was gonna do to me, I let out a little whimper. “Shush baby, just relax.”

Every time he spoke, every word he said just edged me closer and closer. “I want this,” he tapped his fingers on my arse cheek. “Not here and not now, but I want it. I want you in every way, G, every fuckin’ inch of ya.”

As he finished speaking, he yanked on my hair and rammed into me, his arm slid around my front, and his middle finger pushed down on my clit. I pushed back, taking all of him inside me and then grinding forward onto his finger. He moved his hand and pushed his fingers inside me along with his cock, and I felt like I was being ripped open. It drove me insane. When he pushed the heel of his hand onto my clit, I was done. I exploded, and my legs quite literally went out from under me.

“Fuck!” Sean roared in my ears, and I felt him come hot and deep inside of me.

Sean and I had never had sex like that before, not until that week. I was only sixteen the last time we’d made love and making love was all we’d ever done. Sean had always been gentle and considerate. He’d taught me but never forced me, and he had definitely never been rough like he had tonight. This was fucking, plain and simple, lust-fuelled fucking, and I was sure I loved him even more than I did at the beginning of the night. The fact that he couldn’t wait till we got home, and that we needed that connection so bad I’d had the cheek to ask my brother to use his office made me love him in a way that made not just my heart, but my whole body ache with how love fucked I was feeling.

I was spread face down with Sean still buried inside me over my brother’s desk. I groaned as Sean pressed against my back.

“I can’t believe we did that. My brother’s got to work on this desk. I’m such a slut.”

I could feel Sean’s laugh rattle inside him. I felt his chest and shoulders move and his hot breath in my ear, but he didn’t say anything. His hand reached out in front of me, an
d he dragged a box of tissues towards us, pulled a handful out, and passed them to me. He grabbed another handful, kissed my shoulder, and pulled out of me.

We used the bathroom in the office, cleaned ourselves up, got dressed, and unlocked the door. Bailey was sitting on a stool at the bar, talking to someone leaning on the bar next to him. Sean had my hand in one of his and the keys in the other, he dangled them over Bailey’s shoulder and said, “Cheers mate, we owe you big time.”

Bailey turned on his stool, his eyes slid to mine, and at first, I couldn’t make out the look in them. Then two things happened at once, Sean kissed my temple, and said, “You wanna drink baby?” and the person Bail’s had been talking too stood up.

  Cam!

Everything in the room stopped—the noise, the people, it either stopped or faded away. Maybe it was all just too much for my brain to deal with. Never, for as long as I lived would I forget the look on his face. He started to smile, and then his eyebrows drew together as he watched Sean kiss me and call me baby. His mouth dropped open slightly, as he looked between Sean and me. He looked at Sean’s hand in mine, and then from my face to Sean’s, and that was where it stayed for a few seconds. My gaze moved to Bailey’s. He looked panicked. I needed to say something, but my mouth was so dry I didn’t think I could.

“Gia?” Sean was looking at me. “What’s wrong?” The affection and concern in Sean’s voice were unmistakable.

Cam’s face completely fell, as did his shoulders. His eyes closed for a few seconds before they shifted back to me. The hurt they expressed was tangible, and he started to turn to leave.

  “Cam?”

He swung back around to face me. Bailey jerked slightly, unsure of what Cam was going to do. Cam looked from me to Sean, and then put his hand out to Sean.

“Cameron King, joint owner of the place.”

Sean obviously hadn’t missed the name or the atmosphere. “Sean McCarthy,” he hesitated as if he were going to say more, but he didn’t.

Cam nodded as if everything was suddenly becoming clear. “You’re Sean. The lead singer of Carnage. Of course.”

Sean nodded in reply and then looked at me. “Do you need a minute to talk?” I couldn’t have been more grateful or loved him more at that moment. I gave a slight nod of my own as he kissed my cheek. “Ten minutes, and then I’m coming back. I don’t care how big the fucker is, ten minutes.” He turned back to Cam and Bailey. “I’m gonna get a drink from the other bar.” He didn’t pretend. He didn’t say nice to meet you because obviously, it wasn’t. He just turned and walked back into the VIP bar.

“I’ll leave you two to talk.” Bailey kissed my cheek, got up, and left.

“Cam, I’m so sorry. I didn’t want to tell you over the phone. I thought you were away till Monday. I wanted to tell you then, face to face.” My heart was pounding so hard I could feel it in my throat and in my head.

“I came home early to surprise you. I wanted to see you… Wanted to tell you… Wanted to show you how sorry I was for my behaviour Thursday night. Thursday night, Kitten, you remember that? Two nights ago, when I stupidly thought you were in a relationship with me.”

  “I was, I was, I—”

He knocked back the drink he had in his hand, and then he looked at me and shook his head. “Sean McCarthy, now why didn’t I work that one out? I knew all about Sean, I just didn’t realise he was that Sean. I didn’t stand a chance did I? Me or a twenty-two-year-old fucking rock God?” He spat the words with such venom that I flinched.

“Cam, please, it’s not like that. I’ve known him since I was eleven. He was my boyfriend from the age of thirteen. He’s the only boy I’ve ever loved.”

And that was the moment I realised just how much Cameron King, my Tiger had come to mean to me. My heart broke as he looked thoroughly defeated at my words, “Thanks, Kitten, thanks for that.” Then he turned and walked away. I stood until I couldn’t see him anymore. I took a few moments to pull myself together and tried to work out why that had caused such a horrible sensation in my belly and my chest. Feeling like the worst person on Earth, I went to find Sean.

Ash and Marley were practically having sex on the dance floor when I walked back into the VIP bar. The only thing missing was actual penetration, but nobody seemed bothered by it. Sean was at the bar talking to Lennon, Jimmie, and Bailey, and he didn’t look happy. I grabbed a glass of champagne from a waitress and made my way over to his side.

“Hi,” I said as I slipped my hand inside his.

Without even looking at me, he said through gritted teeth, “Cameron King. Cameron fucking King, babe. That’s your Cam? Thanks very much for the warning. So what, do I need to start wearing a bulletproof vest now? Should I expect a horse’s head in my bed?” He let go of my hand while he talked.

“I thought these two,” he gestured to my brothers, before finally turning his eyes on me, “would have had the sense to keep you away from a bloke like that, G? For fuck’s sake, babe. He’s fuckin’ dangerous.”

I lost my temper. I didn’t know why I felt the need to defend Cam. I knew what he was, and I had seen first-hand what he was capable of doing. “Is he, Sean? More dangerous than a fuckin’ rapist, a two-timing rock star who enjoys threesomes with my brother, or am I safer with one of those?”

His eyes didn’t leave mine. I’m not sure what it was I saw flash through them, but I knew I’d said too much.

“Touché, Gia. Touché.” He tilted his glass towards me and knocked back whatever it was he was drinking, walked away, grabbed Jill by the hand, and pulled her onto the dance floor.

“Way to go, George. Anyone you haven’t pissed off tonight?”

“Fuck off, Len. He wasn’t there. It’s got fuck all to do with him who I was seeing while we were apart.” I was shaking inside and almost crying with temper but too angry to shut up. “But if that’s the road he wants to go down, I’m sure I can start going through the scrapbooks Mum kindly made for me and dig dirt on some of the whores he’s been shagging for the past four years.” I grabbed another drink from a passing waitress.

“Yeah, coz that’s gonna help the pair of you move on ain’t it,” Bailey added his tuppence worth. “I’ll tell you exactly what I’ve just told him, if you two stand any chance, any chance at all of making things work between the two of you then you both need to let the past go. Forget what you had before, forget whatever went on while you weren’t together, and focus on what you have now.”

I knew what Bailey was saying was true, but I didn’t want to listen. “Well, I thought that’s what I was doing by finishing it with Cam. Sean’s the one with the problem when he has no right to.”

Bailey and Lennon both shook their heads, but Lennon had more to add, “Just for once, George, just for once, let it go and stop trying to punish him. Calling him a rapist was a low blow. Just leave it. Leave the past in the past and move the fuck on, for all our sakes. You two being apart affected all of us. We all love both of you, and we all hated watching the pair of you in such misery, but we stayed out of it because we all thought that one day you would sort your shit out and get back together. Now, it’s happened. Please try your hardest to make it work.”

I chewed on the inside of my bottom lip. Jimmie had stayed quiet, and I looked at her, silently asking her if she was going to say something.

  “D’ya love him, George?”

  “Of course I do.”

  “Can you live without him?”

  “You know I can’t.”

“Then get over there, get that slut’s grimy little mitts off him, and let him know.”

I turned towards the dance floor. Jill had her hands all over Sean, and he kept laughing and moving them off his arse, then his face, then his arse again. She was grinding into him and stepped closer every time he stepped away. His eyes meet mine, and he looked at me with desperation in them. I raised my eyebrows and folded my arms across my chest.

“Na,” I said to Jim. “Let him suffer for a bit longer.”

; Jill suddenly lunged at him with her mouth, and that was when I moved. “Oi!” I yanked her away by her hair. “You’re taking the piss now, love.”

She shrugged and walked away. “Come on, you can’t blame me for trying,” she called over her shoulder, but I wasn’t listening.

Gloria Estefan’s “I Don’t Wanna Lose You” started to play, and he grabbed my hand and pulled me into the middle of the dance floor.

“I’m sorry,” we both said at the exact same time.

“I’m a jealous fucker. It’s done, you’ve finished with him, I won’t mention him again. I love you.” He kissed me softly on my mouth.

“I shouldn’t have said what I did, it was spiteful and not what I think. I love you, too.” I kissed him gently back.

He smiled at me. “Then listen to the words, G. Listen to the words of this song. I don’t wanna lose you ever again, and no matter what, we will get through this somehow. This, what we’ve got, blows all of the others out of the fuckin’ water. Romeo and Juliet, Bonnie and Clyde, Sandy and Danny, even Baby and Jonny, they can’t touch us. They couldn’t write our story, what we have, there aren’t even words invented yet to describe it.”

A lone tear ran down my cheek and he licked… Yes, he licked it from my face. “Shall we go home so you can show me your tits?” he asked with a grin.

“You’re such a charmer, Maca.” He gave me his full-on rock star smoulder.

“Yeah, you think? Am I good enough to get into your knickers later?”

“Erm, babe, you did that about an hour ago over my brother’s desk.”

He looked horrified. “Aw shit, was that you? Sorry, I thought that was some random bird, throwing herself at me.”

I stopped dancing and put my hands on my hips. “That’s not funny.”

“I’m joking. I’m only joking. Come on, say goodbye to your mates and let’s get out of here.”

  “Mine or yours?” I asked.

“Well, I’m assuming Marley won’t be leaving without Ash, so let’s go to yours.”

We said our goodbyes and left the club by the back door because apparently there were a number of reporters waiting out the front. Milo walked us out and jumped into the front of Sean’s Land Rover that was waiting outside for us. I was introduced to Dave, our driver, and we were driven through the night back to my flat. I tried to keep Sean’s hands from sliding into my knickers all the way there.
