Weston held his breath. His hands trembled slightly. There wasn’t a sound from the crowd.
Avery met his gaze, blinking past her tears. “Yes. Yes, I’ll marry you.”
A collective cheer rose from their family and friends. Avery reached for Weston’s wrists, tugging him to his feet. He kissed her, wrapping his arms around her. One hand still held the diamond ring, the other nestled in her hair. When he pulled back, they were both breathless.
“I love you, Avery.”
She brushed her lips against his once more. “I love you too, Weston.”
