His Mark: A Mafia Romance (Forever Mine Book 1) Page 7

“Yes, oh God, yes.” She arched, and I tugged on her nipple with my teeth as her orgasm exploded around me. Waves of pleasure washed over her body, sweat dampening her skin, her heels curved into my ass. With my sweats around my thighs, I slowed slightly to take in the pleasure of her warmth pulsing around my cock. I hit my rhythm and then exploded inside her, hitting her to the end, jerking my hips as I filled her, my head thrust back as my balls emptied everything that had built up since I’d last had her.

Like molten lava, my blood began to slow as the waves of my orgasm ebbed. She threaded her fingers in my hair and softly ran her nails around my scalp. I dropped my head into her shoulder and sucked in the sweet smell of our lovemaking. I nipped at the soft flesh covering her collarbone as I supported her head with one hand fisted in her hair. Damp and tangled, a wild fucking mess, just like I liked her. I eased out of her, enjoying the slow drag of my cock against the hot walls of her pussy.

She sighed, her feet dropping to the floor. “That was amazing.”

I tucked my cock back in my sweats, shaking my head and gracing a kiss across her lips. “You’re amazing. I still can't believe you said yes.”

“Same.” Izzy giggled, rolling onto my body.

I caught her hips, kissing her sweet lips. “Not the same. I was a professional asshole, I don't deserve any of the beauty you've given me, my precious Daisy. Life was so dark before you, and now it's so bright it hurts my eyes some days. You and those little girls didn't just change my life, you gave me life. I owe you everything.”

“Mm.” She caught my bottom lip between her teeth and wiggled her naked ass over my cock. “Trust me when I say the pleasure has been all mine, Hawk.”

  Cassidy

“Come on, Cas—you can’t just leave it all behind like that,” my manager, Pete, said as he was unpacking everything that I was throwing into the bag. I followed him around, picking up everything.

“I can’t do this shit anymore, Pete. It’s killing my soul. There are only so many times I can get up on stage and shake my ass or sing meaningless lyrics about how I need a man.” I put the stuff back in my bag.

“Cass, you’re at the height of your career. You have five number-one hits. We need to keep the momentum going. What about the European tour?” Pete looked so pale. I guess I would be too if my main cash cow suddenly wanted to do something else.

“I told you, if the record company wants me back in the recording studio, then they need to let me put some new flavor into my tracks.”

Pete threw his hands over his head and started to pace like a caged wild animal. He tended to pace back and forth a lot when things weren’t going his way. I could almost see the panic rolling off him in violent waves.

“Three weeks, Pete. I need three weeks. I need to get away from all this.”

“Where are you going?” he asked.

“Oh no, you know I am not going to tell you.” I zipped my suitcase up and pulled it off the bed.

“Cass, you need to tell me where you are going. What if there is an emergency?” His question came out as a whine, and I was disgusted with myself for the years I let myself be talked into meaningless hit after meaningless hit just because of the giant paychecks that came rolling into my account.

At first I was grateful for the funds. It helped me take care of family and pay all the bills. Then when my mother became unbearable, I needed money to support my younger siblings. I was all they had. After a time when I had more money than I knew what to do with, I still felt empty. This wasn’t the career I wanted. I wanted my words to mean something. I didn’t want it to just be about ass shaking and booty grabbing.

“You don’t need to know anything. I don’t have to give the record executives my answer until next month. You can give me three weeks to figure my shit out.” I looked Pete right in the eyes. He tended to think he could run me like a puppet, but those days where I needed him were long gone. Now the shoe was on the other foot.

I pulled my suitcase off the door, lifted the handle, and walked out. When I was outside the building with fresh air and the scent of freedom on my lips, for the first time in a long time, I felt like I could breathe.

  Finn

“You playin’ a tune?” Billy, one of the regulars, asked.

I cleared his glass and cleaned the pile of liquid mess on the bar.

“Nah, man, think I am gonna skip it tonight. You want another?” I held up the bottle of Scotch.

Billy nodded, as I knew he would. I poured him another and walked away.

The crowd was decent and the drinks were flowing. Nights like these were how we kept the doors open.

“You know they come here, hoping to see your mom,” Mel, one of the waitresses, said, grabbing two beers and placing them on her tray.

I knew she was right. Ever since my mom made an impromptu appearance and sang a few months back, the people have been coming in droves. Everyone wanted to see the famous country singer who became an agoraphobe. They didn’t know what she was really like. They just remembered the big hair and funny one-liners. My mom was something in her prime, her ability to work a crowd like a fiddle her biggest gift. And then she made some bad decisions and it all crumbled out from under her.

“I’m happy to serve them drinks and take their money, but they shouldn’t hold their breath.” I passed Mel and continued my inventory count.

“You may want to order some Canadian beer. These college kids seem to think that stuff is liquid gold or something,” Mel called, walking away.

“At least if you’re gonna be a snob, know what good beer is,” I mumbled under my breath.

“I tend to agree. A Stella, please,” a sweet voice said behind me.

Turning around, I was almost hit with a ton of bricks to my chest. Standing in front of me was the most stunning girl I'd ever seen. She had the face of an angel, with skin the color of rich, silky mocha. Then I looked down at her slamming body. The girl had enough curves to occupy me for days, and I mean days. Every inch of her was female perfection. Her huge tits were pushed up, just enough flesh showing to make my pants grow a little tight and my mouth water.

“My eyes are up here, buddy,” she said, snapping her fingers and taking me out of the lust-filled fog. Damn, it had been a long-ass time since I’d looked at a woman like that.

“Coming right up.” I walked to the bar fridge and grabbed her the cold brew. I slid it to her on the bar, trying to keep my eyes off her gorgeous tits.

“You new to these parts? I haven’t seen you before,” I asked while cleaning a glass, trying to make myself appear aloof—cool, even.

“Yes. Just here on vacation.” There was a soft, raspy lull to her voice that made my shaft pound.

“Odd place to vacation. Not much to do around these parts.” I watched, impressed, as she pounded her beer back.

“I’ll have another.” She slid the bottle toward me.

“Better slow down. The night is young. I would hate to peel that pretty ass of yours off the floor, darlin’.” I handed her another Stella.

“I’m a big girl. Don’t you worry your pretty little head about it, darlin’. So I hear there is an open mic night tonight?” Her eyes wandered to the small stage at the corner of the bar.

  “Every Tuesday. You sing?”

A cocky grin split her lips, making me feel like I’d missed an inside joke.

“I’ve been known to dabble here or there.” She took a sip of her beer, her tongue tracing the tip and making my balls constrict in my jeans.

She placed a fifty on the bar and spun. I couldn’t help but notice the taut ass as she sauntered away.

“It’s only 5 bucks for the beer,” I hollered at her back, trying to get her attention. But she didn’t even turn to acknowledge me.

And that alone was enough to make me want more.
