Avalon Within

  6. When you feel your Throat Center is as open and active as possible, take three more breaths through the top of your head, though the Third Eye, to the Throat and then pull the universal energy down as you exhale into your Heart Center.

  7. Repeat this process of activating each energy center with your breath and visualization until you have opened and connected all five energy centers (Third Eye, Throat, Heart, Womb, and Root). Don’t forget to use the energetic correspondences for each center as you work; when you have become practiced at this exercise, include the Avalonian Middle Pillar Focus for these centers as well. Pay attention to this process. Are some energy centers easier to activate than others? Are there places where pulling the energy down from the centers above feel restricted or blocked? Be sure to journal what goes on during this exercise each time you perform it. These experiences can provide valuable clues for your process work. Perhaps feeling a block in your Womb Center is related to the issue you are presently working through. Perhaps bringing more water energy into your environment, or addressing the issue in Immrama to the corresponding landscape area can help you both clear the block and resolve the issue. Everything is connected.

  8. When you have pulled the energy down from the top of your head through each energy center and have activated them, take some time to breathe the universal energy up and down through your body—down from the top of your head to Root as you inhale … up from Root to the top of your head as you exhale. Do this several times until you feel that the pathway of energy is clear and unobstructed.

  9. Inhale now from deep within your center, down the line from the top of your head to your Root, connecting all your energy centers. Exhale this energy to fountain out from each of your energy centers to the farthest reaches of your aura structure. With each exhale, feel the energies you have aligned and opened expand to fill your entire energy field, and as it does so, feel your sphere of perception expand along with it. This is called “fluffing” your aura. Do this as many times as it takes to expand your energy field as far as possible.

  10. Starting now from your left foot, breathe your energy up one side of your body to the top of your head as you inhale, then exhale it down the other side of your body to the opposite foot. Do this at least three times, more if it feels appropriate, and switch the direction of the energy flow, starting from your right foot and ending at your left.

  11. Repeat the process starting from your toes up over the front of your body to the top of your head, then exhaling down your back to return to your heels. Again, do this at least three times before switching the direction of the energy from back to front.

  12. Repeat the process diagonally across your body this time, breathing up from the toes of your left foot to the top of your head, then down your back to the ankle of the right foot. Reverse the process after having done this at least three times.

  13. Finally, as you inhale, visualize energy spiraling up your body starting from your feet to the top of your head, and then exhile the spiral down to your feet again. Reverse the process after having done this at least three times.

  14. Fluff your aura out again, feeling yourself connected, open, and expanded. Take some time in this space and note the differences in your mental, emotional, and spiritual state before and after performing this exercise. Be sure to journal your insights. Take a moment to thank the Universe. You are now ready to get to work or face the day at your optimal connection with self and the universe. You can now tap into your center with greater ease and your perspective on circumstances or information will be less colored by shadow-based fears and instincts. As with all things, the more you do this work, the easier it will become to connect and the more well laid the path to the All will be.

  Avalonian Middle Pillar

Using this visualization while activating each of your energy centers will help connect you to the Avalonian archetype and reinforce the energetic correspondences between the inner and outer landscapes.
