All these books are great reads and very highly recommended.
Now, I’m aware that this novel is very different from other Jack the Ripper books, and I hope that the science contained in it didn’t put you off. I must confess that it is all made up—there’s hardly one shred of any credible science in this tale. That is, of course, with the exception of the hadron colliders and the Higgs-Boson particle; they are real, but everything else about quantum slugs, piggybacking magnetic signals, and all that other malarkey, that’s all straight out of my brain, Flash Gordon, Star Trek, and other science-fiction (that I love) mumbo jumbo!
Please don’t try any of the experiments, that are in this novel, at home… that’s my disclaimer, kids!

So, this is the part where I offer thanks to the people who have helped me along the way with the writing of this novel.
First and foremost, I have to thank Tony Higginson, a long-term collaborator in my novels. He takes my words, reads them, points out mistakes, and then does it all over again. He has the patience of a saint!
My editor, Lisa Lee… once again taking my final drafts and putting them into something that looks like a finished article… without her, it would just be pages of jumble that looks like a book.
Peter Folklore is the artist who produced the most excellent, and striking, cover art for this novel. He has produced the art on a few of my books, and I can see the relationship carrying on well into the future (forgive the pun). He has a unique eye and is a top bloke too. Check out his work on Instagram and Twitter via @forsakenfolklore.
I need to thank my army of proof-readers too, Annmarie Barrell, Christina Rangel Eleanor (www.thevoraciousgnome.wordpress.com), Rita Goodall, Charley Moor, Natalie Anne Webb, Melanie Bingle Marsh, and Tara Lane!
If I didn’t mention my final proof-reader in her own paragraph, then my life wouldn’t be worth living… Lauren Davies! She not only does my final proof-read, but she has to live, every single day, of these books with me. She has a lot to put up with!
I want to thank my family, Ann, Grace, Sian, Helen, Annmarie, Ashley, Emily, Joanne, Christopher, Myles, Gary, Steve, Liam, Kirsty, Darren, Stacey, Felicity, Olivia, Jacob… the list could go on and on!
But mostly, I need to thank you guys, the readers. Once again, and I say this with my hand on my heart, as I always do, there is no point in writing these books if no one reads them.
So, thank you, thank you, thank you!
