He resumed his scorching trail, kissing and nipping his way down the valley between her breasts, her soft belly. She widened her thighs for him, giving him complete access. He paused, staring at her cunt intently.

“Look at that perfect pink pussy,” he murmured, then blew at her sex.

She groaned as he pushed his face between her legs and thrust his tongue between her folds. Destiny squirmed, but he held her thighs both in place. She was helpless as he explored, licked, and sucked every inch of her. Devil tongue-fucked her and Destiny forgot everything—Skull, her debt that now belonged to Devil, the Pink Canary, and Carl.

The only thing that mattered was the gorgeous and sexy biker between her legs. Devil gently bit at her sensitive clit. The pressure building inside her burst at the seams. The cramped room fell away from her line of sight. Destiny came, screaming out his name. Her orgasm seemed to go on forever, but he simply held her, refusing to let her go. She held on to him like a safety net.

  Chapter Seven

Seeing Destiny unravel right before his very eyes sent blood surging to Devil’s tormented dick. It wouldn’t be hard to flip her onto her hands and knees. To take her like a beast. She wouldn’t and couldn’t refuse him and yet, Devil swore to himself that he’d focus on her pleasure tonight alone.

He scooted upward and took her mouth, making her taste her need. When he pulled away, she was panting. Destiny slid her hands down his body and curled her fingers over his shaft.

“It’s my turn to take care of you,” she said in a husky voice. Destiny began to stroke him. In moments, his dick had gone from half-mast to full. Groaning, Devil closed his hands over hers.

“No,” he said in a hoarse voice. “Tonight is about you. I can’t take you like this. I want your first time to be in my bed.”

She gave him a puzzled look. Devil jerked himself off, his motions rapid. With Destiny being his captive audience, it didn’t take long for Devil to blow his load. He erupted, painting her gorgeous tits, her stomach, and thighs with his jizz.

Fuck, he was a bastard for marking her like a territorial animal, but he didn’t care. She belonged to him without question now. Destiny only shot him a smile that barely quenched the steady hunger growing inside him. He stumbled out the room, grabbed a clean towel from the bathroom, and rejoined her in bed.

Devil lay next to her and cleaned her up, taking his time doing so. With that task done, he pulled her close to him, her back resting against the front of his body. Devil enveloped her into his embrace. He buried his face into the curve of her neck and inhaled her heavenly scent.

He’d indulged in plenty of casual sex with club whores before but never once invited them to sleep in his room, in his bed. Maybe part of him always knew he was saving himself for someone special. Destiny.

“Stay the night with me,” she murmured. “Please?”

“That’s the plan, sweetheart,” he answered. Minutes later, he felt the rise and fall of her chest. She snored lightly. Devil doubted he’d get any sleep tonight. He’d keep her promise to her. Devil wouldn’t leave this bed, but he’d also stay awake and keep guard.

Destiny woke up in a cold sweat. She panted and for a second, cluelessly stared at the gray metal walls of the trailer. She slowly drew her knees to her chest.

Lately, nightmares plagued her dreams. They were all the same. They featured Carl riding a motorcycle, grinning maniacally and intent on running her down. No matter how fast she sprinted, he always caught up with her.

She rubbed her sweaty palms over the fabric of her oversized shirt.

  What time was it?

A shaft of sunlight peered through the tiny rectangular window in the room, but she couldn’t tell if it was morning or afternoon. Sometimes, Destiny snoozed all the way until noon only to count the hours until her next shift at the Pink Canary.

“I hate my life,” she whispered the same mantra she did every day.

Today felt different. Something had changed last night.

Destiny brushed her fingers over lips and remembered Devil’s kiss. The way he played her body like a favorite instrument. God. He certainly knew how to use his hands and mouth. For those few seconds, Destiny felt like she was floating on cloud nine and nothing could touch her.

Was Devil still in the trailer? She rose shakily to her feet and opened the door. Destiny had fallen asleep tucked against his chest the night before. She woke up to an empty bed. Was he gone? Destiny bit her lower, unsure if she was pleased or disappointed.

Spotting the untidy scrawl on a piece of paper by the table, a wave of relief filled her. Destiny read his note out loud. “Went out to get breakfast. If you still want me to leave you alone, we’ll talk after we have some grub.”

Butterflies fluttered in her belly. Destiny didn’t understand why she harbored these warm and fuzzy feelings for a complete stranger. Yet, she owed Devil plenty as well. Never mind how he completely blew her mind away last night. He freed her from the clutches of Skull and the Skull Riders MC. Usually, no one gave a damn about girls like her.

“I can’t afford to fall for him,” she whispered to the empty RV.

Love wasn’t in the cards for someone like her. Destiny was barely able to get by on her own. Destiny cursed her mother when she was alive, hated her when she got sick. In the end, they only had each other for company.

When her mother died, it felt like Destiny’s entire world came crashing down on her. Never before had she felt so utterly alone. Skull had taken advantage of her vulnerability and she swore to herself once she paid her debt to him, she’d never allow her man to dictate her life ever again.

  However, where would she go?

Destiny never thought beyond settling her debt. Devil was right. She couldn’t remain here, in River Dawn. Skull, Carl, and the other members of the Skull Riders MC would only harass her in town. Where would she move? Destiny had never left her hometown.

Starting somewhere new seemed a little daunting. Would it be so bad to go with Devil? To see where that particular road took her?

Life with Devil would never be boring. It would be an adventure, but it could also be dangerous. Destiny might only be twenty, but working for Skull made her jaded. She knew what kind of man Devil was.

He wasn’t the least bit apologetic about the lifestyle he’d chosen either. Once she agreed to be—whatever he wanted her to be, she’d be injected into his life. If she went down that particular road, Destiny had a feeling there would be no going back.

Destiny couldn’t stop thinking of him. She woken up numerous times during the night, terrified that Skull would send someone, probably Carl, to drag her back to the club. Then Skull would tell her this was all a mistake, a practical joke.

Hearing the rumble of a motorcycle engine outside, her heart raced. She didn’t know what made her run out of the trailer to greet Devil. Destiny felt like a giddy schoolgirl again, eager to intercept her crush.

  Except it wasn’t Devil.

Destiny froze on the doorsteps of her trailer.

Carl dismounted from his bike and the leer he wore created knots in her stomach.

“You should’ve left town when you could, bitch,” Carl drawled.

He pulled out something long, sharp, and metallic from the inside compartment of his jacket. The bastard held out his knife with a sinister smile.

Destiny swallowed. Carl made an excellent point. She should’ve run when she could. Devil said he’d get breakfast, but what if he never returned or came back too late?

“Where’s Devil? I don’t see his Harley around,” Carl said, edging closer to her.

“Gone.” She could barely get that single word out.

“Good. No one will interrupt us. I’m sick of chasing after you.” Carl’s dark eyes gleamed with malice. He lifted the knife to his face and licked the flat, dull edge of the blade.

Destiny shivered involuntarily then remembered she wasn’t some quivering and frightened girl who was easily spooked. Carl was a
nobody, just a prospect who could never get his patch thanks to his recklessness. She wouldn’t be surprised if Carl tracked her here without telling Skull.

“Off Skull’s leash today?” she asked in a sweetly, poisoned voice. “I’m a little surprised. Skull never you out of the club without an escort.”

Destiny was faking being brave, just like how she’d faked being the confident and untouchable stripper on stage.

Carl’s face contorted and began to turn red. “I don’t need a fucking escort. Watch your fucking mouth, cunt.”

“Or what? You can’t even get a woman to agree to fuck you unless you threaten her. You’re not much of a man, Carl. I’m not afraid of you.”

“Shut your trap. I’ll wipe that smirk off that face of yours soon enough. I’ll scar that pretty face of yours so no one else will want to look at you.” Carl lunged at her.

Destiny retreated inside the trailer and slammed the door against his fingers. Carl shrieked. Destiny threw her entire weight against the door, but she was fighting a losing battle. Carl slammed his shoulder into the wood, growling, spitting out more curses under his fetid breath.

Why did Destiny provoke him when she knew she had no way out?

  Chapter Eight

“When are you coming back to the clubhouse?” Saint asked Devil.

Saint had called just when Devil was grabbing breakfast for him and Destiny. Since she cooked them dinner last night, Devil wanted to return the favor and take care of breakfast. It had been a long time since he sat down for a meal with a woman.

More often than not, he ate with his MC brothers in the clubhouse. He spent plenty of time working jobs with them, too. The MC was his life, his number-one priority, or it used to be. Everything would change the moment Destiny entered his life. He could feel it in his bones.

He wasn’t entirely comfortable leaving her all alone in the trailer, but no one had come after them last night. Devil had gotten maybe three to four hours of sleep because he kept leaving the bed to check their surroundings. The sooner they get the hell out of River Dawn, the better. Once they were back in Devil’s backyard, on Fallen Saints MC’s turf, he’d be able to let his guard down.

“Devil, you there?” asked Saint, sounding annoyed.

Keeping one hand on his phone, Devil swiped the brown take-out bags from the diner counter with his other hand. He gave the waitress a nod. Devil then exited the diner and placed the items in the back compartment of his bike.

“Tonight,” Devil replied. “There’s something else I haven’t told you, bro.”

  “What’s that?”

“I forgot to mention one little thing last night.” Might as well get the truth out in the open. Saint was waiting for his answer. “Skull added a woman to sweeten the deal.”

Saint swore in the background. “Is that why he asked for more guns than the agreed number? What’s so special about this bitch?”

“Careful, brother.” Devil made sure Saint heard the warning in his voice. “She’s important to me.”

He didn’t make threats lightly, especially not to Saint. He knew he was treading on uneven ground right now. It was Saint, the President of the Fallen Saints MC he was talking to, not the blood brother he grew up with.

Saint was silent for a few moments.

“You know me,” Devil continued. “I don’t make hasty decisions.”

  “Usually.”

“The extra AK-47s, you can take out of my paycheck. I need you to do something else for me.”

“After you botched the deal, you’re still asking a fucking favor from me?”

“Yeah. Once Destiny and I arrive, I want you to get Father Michael.”

“Why the hell would you need a priest for? So I could have Father Mike say your last rights?”

Christ. Saint sounded really pissed off, but who could blame his brother? Saint sent him out here because he trusted Devil. Unlike his other MC brothers, Devil didn’t cave under pressure, he didn’t resort to violence unless it was necessary. Devil didn’t let emotions get in the way of negotiations, but Destiny was an exception.

“So he can marry me and Destiny. I intend to make her my old lady, Saint.” Rings. Devil wanted to do everything properly. Maybe they could stop by a pawn shop and he’d let her pick their wedding bands.

Frosty silence met him from on the other end.

“Devil, you’ve only met this woman yesterday,” Saint argued. His brother sounded more shocked than pissed off now.

“And I knew from the moment I spotted her dancing that pole that she’s meant to be mine.”

“That crafty bitch. She put you up to this?” Saint demanded. “Did she spike your beer or something?”

Destiny wasn’t capable of pulling off anything like that. She was tough and jaded, true enough, but in some ways, she was also young and innocent. Devil didn’t bother explaining anything further to Saint. Once Saint made up his mind, there was no changing it. Saint would have to meet and talk to Destiny himself.

“No. She doesn’t even know what I have planned for her. For us. Anyway, I got to go. Make sure Father Mike’s there,” he said.

Devil had dragged this little breakfast trip long enough. He didn’t know why, but unease grew in the pit of his stomach. He needed to return to his woman right away. Besides, he didn’t want the food to get cold.

Devil tucked his cell phone in the back pocket of his jeans and mounted his bike. He rode hard and fast to the Sunny Hills. He could still recall how natural Destiny felt sitting behind him. After they tied the wedding knot, maybe Devil could take her on a road trip. He had a feeling Destiny didn’t really have plenty of opportunities to travel. From the sound of it, something always held her back, made her stuck in River Dawn.

They could pick out destinations and do couple shit together.

Damn. What was the world coming to? Devil had a reputation blacker than tar around these parts and he was going soft over a woman. Maybe Saint was right. Destiny was a bad influence on him but then again, Devil had a hard time imagining a life without her.

Seeing another bike parked outside her trailer made Devil silently seethe. He spotted a familiar fucker pounding at the front door of Destiny’s trailer. Carl. Devil only spared the bastard last night because he was Skull’s biological brother. He would’ve put a bullet between Carl’s eyes if he wasn’t so important to Skull.

Now, things were different. All the bets were off. Carl was a walking dead man. He forfeited his rights to living the moment he came after Devil’s woman the second time. Devil killed the engine of his bike. Carl hadn’t even noticed him. Carl was too busy, shouting expletives to Destiny.

Poor Destiny was probably doing her best to keep the door shut.

Brave girl. She did a good job, keeping herself alive.

Now it was his turn to end this. Devil studied his surroundings. Destiny’s trailer was parked on the outskirts of the park, a good distance away from her neighbors. Perfect. Devil could execute his kill without worrying about witnesses. He pried his gun from his belt. Devil never went anywhere without it.

He walked up to Carl, cushioning the sound of his boots. Carl only noticed him seconds too late. The poor bastard spun, teeth bared like an animal. Confusion spilled across his features, then terror.

“Don’t—” Carl began, but the dead man wasn’t able to finish his sentence.

Devil pulled the trigger. If he had the luxury of time, he’d only knock out Carl unconscious. Then he’d drag Carl to the basement in the Fallen Saints MC clubhouse and go to work on him. Devil could keep him alive for a very long time. Carl would keep begging him for mercy Devil never intended to give.

Too bad Devil had to settle for a quick kill.

Carl’s blood flew, splattered against the front door. Destiny let out a muffled scream from behind.

“You’re safe now,” he called to his girl. “Carl will never bother you again.”

Destiny had stopped screaming but she refused to open the door as well. Devil sil
ently cursed himself. He didn’t want to scare off his potential bride so easily. The MC lifestyle wasn’t for everyone. Destiny had the stomach for it, but Devil had planned to introduce her slowly to it. Not like this.

He kicked at Carl’s corpse, a little pissed.

By some miracle, the door swung open. Destiny stood by the doorframe, face pale, lower lip trembling. She still wore the same clothes she did the night before, a long, white shirt that fell to the knees and failed to really cover anything. Just before leaving to get them breakfast, Devil had masturbated to the thought of him finally taking her for the first time.

Devil just killed a man and yet here he was, thinking about Destiny. Carl wasn’t his first kill or last, but one important fact remained. He murdered a man in cold blood for her. That was certainly something. Devil didn’t mind getting his hands dirty when it came to the MC or helping his brothers. This new development only sealed the fact Destiny was made to be his.

“Devil,” she whispered. Destiny looked spooked, reminded him of a sparrow that was ready for flight any second. Devil had to tread very carefully here.

“Come here, sweetheart.” He tucked his gun away and held out a hand toward her. A test. Would she bolt from him or run toward him?

Destiny carefully made her way around Carl’s body and then threw herself at him. Devil caught her, relieved. He fisted her hair, brought her face close to his chest. Fuck, but she felt so warm, so soft against him. For those few seconds, neither of them said anything. That was fine with Devil. He stroked her back, mind already racing with solutions to their little problem.

“What’s going to happen now?” she whispered. Destiny raised her eyes to him. “We can explain this to the cops. Tell them it was self-defense, maybe?”

Devil culled the urge to laugh. That would be cruel and right now, his Destiny didn’t look like she could take too many emotional blows. “No. The cops are in Skull’s pocket. They’ll write this off as murder. We’d go to jail.”
