The Wright Choice

“It should be illegal to upstage the bride.”
I felt my face flush. “Oh, stop it, Ash.”
“For the second time, as soon as you were within eyesight, all eyes were on you, my love.” It was almost exactly what he said to me when I met him at the fountain the day of their engagement. Although it was only a few months ago, it felt like another life.
“The only eyes I care about are yours.” I leaned over and kissed him.
The reception was fun. In total, about twenty-five family and friends were in attendance, so it was small and intimate, but everyone had fun. We ate, danced, and drank. Once over, we had a sendoff for Mia and Preston, who were leaving the castle and going to honeymoon in Venice.
As we stood on our balcony after the festivities died down, Ash held me in his arms.
“So, what’s next, my love?” he asked.
“The possibilities are endless,” I said. But I knew, whatever happened next, Ash and I would do it together.
Epilogue
3 months later
After Italy, life fell back into an easy routine, only this time, I spent a lot of time with Ash. As planned, I moved in with Lucy, but that only lasted a month before Ash begged me to move in with him. It ended up working perfectly because Jax wanted to live with Lucy too.
The four of us did a lot together. It was so nice seeing my best friend and brother happy, and I was falling more and more in love with Ash with each day that passed.
Preston and Mia returned from their honeymoon and even joined us out a few times. We were still working on our new relationships, but so far, things were going well. Mia had her mansion in LA. Preston was working for his dad, and everything was as it was supposed to be.
Ash and I were walking hand in hand on the beach, recreating our first date at Sobu. As we stood looking out over the water at the setting sun, Ash began to kiss my neck. It still amazed me that after three months, every kiss felt better and better.
“So, what do you think about Greece?” Ash asked.
Ever since we returned from Italy, we have been trying to plan another vacation, just the two of us.
“I think I have been dying to go there. Why?” He moved away from me, and I spun around. Ash was down on one knee, a black box in his hand.
“Me too... what do you think about getting married there?”
I tossed myself in his arms.
“Yes, a million times, yes!” I screamed. After letting go of him, he took my hand and pushed the diamond ring onto my finger.
“I can’t wait to make you my wife.”
“I can’t wait to marry you, Mr. Wright.”

ABOUT KRISTY GIBS

* * *
Contemporary Romance and Romantic Suspense author, Kristy Gibs, lives in New Jersey with her husband and three young children. She grew up inspired by the words of Nicholas Sparks and Nora Roberts and admits the epic fairy tales still sweep her off her feet. Currently, the author spends her free time shuffling her kids between dance and baseball, cooking, and avoiding airplanes at all costs.
Despite her slight phobia of flying, Kristy Gibs's writing dreams have soared within the last few years. Although the author says she prefers to keep her feet firmly planted on the ground, it's evident she lets her imagination be the one to take flight. Perhaps that's why she's already on her seventh book and has readers anxiously waiting for more.
Her pages are an escape, a world where she can be anything she wants to be. As much as she loves a happily ever after, and is living one of her own, she believes they take work. Butterflies are just the light breeze that fans the heated blush of a lover's cheek. Relationships are built on trust, require respect and sacrifice of pride.
Readers agree: her books are full of truths. To get into the real HEA, Kristy Gibs peels back the sweet layers of romance and exposes the heart-wrenching moments of love. More often than not, they're sweeter than sin.
