This Is Wild

It’s one of the top reasons we bought the house. I grab my shirt and take it off and toss it in the basket in the corner. She looks at me as I walk in. “Are they sleeping?” she asks me, and I nod my head at her. I walk to her, and she opens her legs so I can stand between them. I push her cotton nightgown up. The little spaghetti strap falls to her arm, letting the top slip off the top of her breast past her nipple. My cock springs to action right away.

“I love this,” she says, touching the ink on my side. After we got engaged, I showed her that I added her name under the scripture and then added Matthew and then Zara. Her finger traces all the names. “Looks like there is space for one more,” she says, and then I see that she’s holding a pregnancy test in her hands. A bright pink “+” in the middle.

“Are you?” I ask her and then look up at her. “Are we?”

“We are,” she says, and I lift her up and bring her closer to the edge of the counter, her hands moving her night gown up and then taking out my cock. I slide into her, and we both moan.

“You’ve given me everything I could want,” I tell her as I make love to her. “And more.” She doesn’t say anything to me; she just tightens her legs around my hips.

“I love you,” she tells me as soon as I plant myself all the way into her. She goes over the ledge, and I follow her.

That night, when my eyes fly open, I turn to look over at the bedside clock and see it’s a little after six a.m. Our bedroom door opens, and I see little Zara come in wiping her eyes. “Daddy,” she says, her voice soft and angelic. “I sleep with you,” she says, and she climbs into bed with us. I tuck her into my side, and then just like that, my eyes close again. Gone are the days when I would get up and watch the sun come up. Gone are the heart palpitations that I got at the beginning. Now, my heart beats normally. In this crazy, wild life, I found my love.

  This Is Love- SNEAK PEAK

  Vivienne

  Never fall in love.

That was my motto, and I was sticking to it.

Having my heart broken once was enough, and I never wanted to do it again.

He was supposed to be a one-night stand, the only thing I do.

One rule shouldn’t be so hard to follow, but then I went back for seconds, then thirds.

After that, I lost count of the number of times I lost myself in his arms.

When I wasn’t paying attention, my guard slipped.

  Mark

They call me Private Mark for a reason—my whole life is a secret.

For two years, we danced around each other until I got her right where I wanted her ... under me.

Now that I had her, I wasn't letting her go. I thought we were on the same page.

I thought we were building something great.

  Boy, was I ever wrong.

I had no idea that while I was falling in love, she was trying to convince herself we were temporary.

  She thought I’d walk away.

  She was wrong.

Now it's time to convince her she wants us too and to show her that the crazy, wild thing we have ... This Is Love.

  MARK & VIVIENNE

“So, tell me, Vivienne,” I say. She mimics my pose, leaning back in her chair.

“What do you want to know, Mark?” Her face gives away nothing.

“Two years ago, you said you were going to call me,” I say to her with a smirk. “I haven’t changed my number.”

“Two years ago, you told me to give you a call when I was ready,” she says. Sitting back up now, she puts her elbows on the table and folds her hands together. “I was making you sweat it out.” Her sly smile comes out.

I laugh now. “Is that so?” Leaning forward, I put my elbows on the table, too.

“What is the saying that Americans say …?” She stops talking when the waiter comes back and pours her a glass of white wine. After tasting it, she gives him a nod. “Good things come to those who wait.”

I nod, grabbing the glass of water in front of me. “They also say you catch more flies with honey.” I wink at her.

“The only thing I know about honey is that it takes at least three showers to wash it completely off.” Now she winks at me. “But I do have one question.”

“I’m an open book,” I tell her, and she throws her head back and laughs as I take another sip of water. My throat and mouth are becoming dry.

“You know they call you PM, right?” She tilts her head. “And I’m assuming it’s not for private masturbation.” The minute she says this, I choke on my water and feel the burn as it tries to come out of my nose. I cough as I try to get some air in and get the water down. “I didn’t think so.” She takes a sip of wine, not even noticing I’m about to die. “So why do they call you that?”

I drink another sip of water and am finally able to breathe. “They call me that because I’m private, so I don’t give anyone anything. It’s Private Mark.” I shake my head. “I almost died.”

She shrugs and rolls her eyes. “You were fine.” She then stares right at me, and I’m mesmerized by her blue eyes. They are crystal blue today especially now that she’s joking. “I mean, if that was just a way for me to give you mouth-to-mouth, it was a little dramatic.”

“Trust me, if I wanted mouth-to-mouth, I would just take it,” I say, and her eyes shift. If I wasn’t looking at her, I would have missed it. The outside of her blue eyes turns just a touch darker, and she gets blue dots in the middle.

“Is that so?” she asks. I don’t get a chance to answer before the waiter comes by and places our appetizers in the middle of the table.

“Are you ready to order?’ he asks us, and Vivienne looks at me.

“I’ll let you decide,” she tells me, taking a piece of pita and dipping it in the tzatziki. When she moans, my cock gets rock hard in the blink of an eye. I order a bunch of stuff, and I am sure it’s way too much food, but my brain wasn’t getting the blood flow it needed. “This is really good,” she says, and I just nod at her, taking a piece of pita and eating it.

“Who did you go to Greece with?” I ask her, wondering if she has someone. Usually, she flies solo. There is even a side bet going with certain players to see who will finally tame her. If Matthew found out, he would ream their asses.

“I went with my cousin from France,” she says. “It was two weeks of heaven. Sunny every single day. We stayed in the little village at this little place.” I raise my eyebrows. “Fine. We had our own villa, but it was beautiful. And we chartered a yacht for two days, and it was perfect.”

“My father is from there,” I tell her, and she looks at me. “So I visit once or twice a year, and then I go to Italy and visit some of my mother’s cousins.”

“That doesn’t sound like a bad trip,” she says, smiling, and I shake my head.

“Not a bad trip at all,” I tell her. “Why didn’t you call?”

“I’m not sure,” she says, taking a big gulp of wine.

“Did you not want to?” I ask her, hoping this pull I feel isn’t just one-sided.

“Oh, I wanted to,” she finally says softly. “I just didn’t want to muddy the waters.”

  “Meaning?” I ask her.

“Meaning, I don’t know what would happen after,” she answers me.

“You’ll never know unless you call,” I tell her. “I’m not asking for your hand in marriage, Vivienne. I’m old-fashioned,” I tell her, and she raises her eyebrows, “but not that old-fashioned.”

“Old-fashioned?” she questions me. “Does that mean you do all the work?”

“What fun would that be?” I tell her and lean forward softly. “Nothing sexier than watching a woman ride.” And just like that, her eyes change to the darkest blue I’ve ever seen. I watch her swallow and see that she shifts in her chair, but I don’t want to push her. “I’m sure you’ll agree.”

  She looks
at me, and I see the wicked out in her. “Personally, I like to look over my shoulder.”

  Acknowledgments

Every single time I keep thinking it’s going to be easy. It takes a village to help and I don’t want to leave anyone out.

This book is without a doubt the hardest journey I had to take. When I first came up with this idea I was sitting at a bench table celebrating my cousin’s birthday. In theory it was a great idea and then I started writing it and it was so much more than what I thought.

Writing this story broke me and there were times that it was touch and go to scrap the whole thing. I just keep trudging and writing the story no matter how many words it was going to be I was going to give Viktor and Zoe their story!

The over emotions of this book got to me and some scenes were written with tears streaming down my face and then some were done with me laughing at this amazing family that I’ve created.

Thank you so much to everyone who held my hand during this time and thank you to two special people who actually calmed my nerves Ashley and Maura, my hats go off to you for your strength and courage!

  * * *

My family: To my children, Matteo, Michael, and Erica, Thank you for letting me do this. You encouraged me, you pushed me, you support me, and I am utterly and forever grateful for all of that. Well when you weren’t complaining you want real home cooked food, which was often. Thank you for going on this journey with me.

My Husband: You share me with this hobby that has taken over our lives. Thank you for holding my hand and for coming up with words when I'm stuck. I love you more than words can say.

Rachel: You are my blurb bitch. Each time you do it without even reading this book and you rocked it. I’m really happy I bulldozed my way into your life.

Beta girls: Teressa, Lori, Natasha M, Lori, Yolanda, Denise, Jan, Sarah, and Yamina. You girls made me not give up. You loved each and every single word and wrote and begged and pleaded for more. You told me to go with my heart and talked me off the ledge more times than I cared to count. This story is the way it is because you didn’t let me doubt myself. You fought with me until I heard you.

Madison Maniacs: This group is my go to, my safe place. You push me and get excited for me and I can’t wait to watch us grow even bigger!

Dani: Thank you for holding my hand and not giving up. You answer my question no matter how stupid they sound. Thank you for being you, thank you for everything!
