BLAKE KNEW that this girl was a natural little from the start.
And that Nina was his little.
He took a deep breath. This was his shot. He had to take it, or he would regret it for the rest of his life. Nina was the sweetest, most precious little thing that had ever come into his life, and he had every intention of catching her and never letting her go.
“I’d certainly like to think this makes me your daddy,” he said, motioning to the purple bag and the clothes spilled out onto the dining room table.
“But, being a daddy means more than feeding you and buying you nice clothes,” he said. “It means so much more than that Nina.”
“Dr. Merrin?”
The tiny voice forming his name caught him off-guard. But it also excited him. She was so sweet, so curious, and he wished he could hold her and tell her it was okay to be a little. He knew deep down that she wanted it as bad as he did. “Yes, sweetie?”
“What else does it mean to be a daddy?”
He wiped his mouth with his napkin, and sat back in his chair. “Well,” he said, “it means letting someone take care of your needs completely. It means never worrying again about anything that you used to worry about. It means letting someone take all your problems away, because it is their primary goal to take care of you… and give you pleasure.”
“Pleasure, Mr. Merrin?”
“Yes, Nina,” he said softly, “because receiving pleasure is… it’s part of feeling truly taken care of. Looked after, do you see?”
Nina was staring out the window now, her face flushed and seemingly unable to look at him.
But Blake could see the slightest upturn at the corner of her mouth.
Did this prospect please her?
“The storm has passed,” she said, “but the clouds are still in the sky.”
Nina looked at him. “Do you think the storm has passed?”
Blake turned his attention to the clouds outside. Experience told him that lighting storms were rare in Littletown most of the year, but that once in a while, they came through in succession.
“If it’s going to storm,” he assured her, “it won’t be until night time. In Littletown, if there is going to be a bad storm, it is always at night that it happens.”
This seemed to comfort her and she said, “Oh.” Her attention then turned back to her clothes.
“Do you need your diaper changed?”
“Umm,” she squirmed, “no...not yet.”
Something in Blake’s gut told him that she was lying, but he let it go for now. He wasn’t about to make her show him. Not yet. Besides, he would find out when they got to the clinic, and he’d be better equipped to care for her there.
“Why don’t you go ahead and get dressed, and we’ll head into town,” he said. “And I’ll show you my clinic. I can give you better, more thorough care there.”
And, he would make sure he had proper supplies next time. He only had a few rudimentary supplies for other daddies who brought their littles over to his house. But it wasn’t enough. Certainly not enough for his Nina.
But would there be a next time?
The question bothered Blake, but he didn’t tell Nina this.
He had promised to take her to her cousin’s after the clinic. And what then? Would he see her again?
He took another look at her and he knew he couldn’t let that happen. She was too precious, too sincere and gentle to be left in the world alone, unwatched and unprotected. And besides, if she really did decide to move to Littletown for good, it would only be a matter of time before she found someone who would take care of her.
Blake wanted to be that someone.
Nina left him and ran up the stairs with her clothing.
He went to the kitchen and cleaned their dishes, putting away cooking supplies and wiping the counters down.
By the time he was done, Nina had come downstairs, fully dressed.
The sight of her, glowing like dark honey in the secondary light outside took Blake’s breath away. He stopped what he was doing, taken by her beauty.
Nina’s cheeks flushed pink, and they matched the color of her blouse.
The silky pink fabric flowed softly over her beautiful brown skin, just as Blake suspected it would. He knew baby pink was her perfect color. The blouse draped over her small breasts and clung to her tiny waist.
The light blue denim skirt fit her perfectly. She turned to sit down at the table, most likely to wait for him to finish cleaning, and he could hear her diaper crinkle under her skirt. The back stuck out just slightly from the padding.
She was just gorgeous. Needful. Sweet. Everything he wanted in life.
This was it, Blake thought. This was his chance.
It was a very important day ahead.
Today would determine the rest of his life.
He smiled, and sat the rag down on the kitchen counter. “Ready to head into Littletown?”
NINA STARED out the large window next to the table where she sat.
The clouds were white and hung low in the sky. Normally just the sight of the clouds would make her worry intensely.
But Mr. Merrin—Dr. Merrin—had assured her that the storm wouldn’t bother them today, and this comforted Nina greatly.
It was strange just how much his confidence comforted her.
Strange, but not altogether unwelcome.
She smiled.
She liked that it comforted her.
And she wondered if her full belly and her diaper also helped to ease her tensions.
She readjusted herself in her chair, trying to get a little more comfortable in her soiled diaper. So far she had only urinated in it, but it still was a comfort just to wear it.
While she got dressed, she’d felt the urge to urinate, and while she could have gone in the toilet, she figured that since her diaper was already messed she might as well go in it again.
It had seemed like a good idea at the time. But now, waiting for Dr. Merrin, she began to wonder how long it would be before he would know that she needed a change.
Would she let him do it? Could she let him do it?
It was only a matter of time before he found out.
“Ready?” a deep male voice asked from behind her.
Nina turned in the chair, then smiled. “Yes Dr. Merrin.”
She took his hand naturally, and he led her out of the house, locking the door behind them.
A beeping sound alerted her to the black Mercedes in the rounded driveway. The front of the house was new to her and she looked around.
“What is it?”
“It’s just… it’s beautiful,” Nina said. The driveway was lined with trees and she could see other houses in the distance, seperated for privacy. It was so green, so clean and it felt nothing like the city. The air smelled so good and she took a deep breath and closed her eyes.
When she opened them she saw Dr. Merrin staring at her with what she could only assume was approval. He still held her hand, but he had paused, to give her a moment to enjoy her surroundings.
She smiled, and he led her to the car. He opened the passenger door and she slid inside. He reached across her and pulled the seat belt around her, clicking it into place.
He smelled so good, like pine aftershave that was just as clean as the woods which surrounded them.
He went around the car and got into the driver’s seat. He turned the ignition and they began to roll away from the house.
Being driven around was quite pleasant. It was much smoother and cleaner than the gross busses in the city she was used to. She loved the feel of the leather on her legs, and the way the vents blew a faint breeze around her.
The road winded several times, and they passed houses that were nice just like Mr. Merrin’s.
“Do all the people who live here...are they all…”
“Yes, they are daddy’s who live with their littles,” he said.
She could see herself living here. Nina was surprised by the thought, and how natu
ral it felt. She couldn’t see herself going back to the city. Not now.
But did Dr. Merrin really want to be her daddy?
She looked over at him, and smiled.
“What is it?”
“Nothing, it’s just.... well, it’s very nice here.”
“I’m glad that you like it Nina.”
He was so handsome, and the way his stubble lined his jaw made something strange happen inside of Nina. She readjusted herself in the leather seat, and her diaper crinkled.
“Nina what is it?”
“Nothing,” she assured him.
How could she tell him that she tingled between her legs? That an energy swirled deep between both of her hips. And it was all because of him.
Dr. Merrin turned onto the road she recognized from the night before. “You were very close to town, Nina. Littletown is just down the road here. It’s not far from home.”
Home.
The way he said it seemed to include her and it did not go unnoticed.
Before she knew it, he turned again, and Nina could see what looked like the main road of town. They passed a sign on the right that said, Welcome to Littletown.
It was a small place.
The entire town was one lane, made up of small shops and what looked like a clinic at the edge of town. They passed shops that sold candy and clothes and even groceries.
Nina’s eyes were glued on the shops; they were so small and colorful and inviting, with warm lights inside and things that glittered and shined.
“We need to go to the clinic first,” Dr. Merrin said, seeming to notice her intense interest in the shops, “I want to make sure you are healthy and properly cared for. Nina…”
She turned her head towards him. “Yes Dr. Merrin?”
“Would you like to visit the shops on main street after we’re finished at the clinic?”
Nina couldn’t help it and she beamed. “Yes! I would love that.”
Suddenly she remembered how Dr. Merrin had promised to take her to her cousin’s after going to the clinic, and it made her hesitate. “Is that okay?”
“Of course!” he said, “I’d love to take you shopping...seeing that happiness on your face is quite enough.”
His approval and pleasure in her pleasure made her beam again.
But it also made the tingling between her hips tickle even more. Even through the diaper she could feel the skin between her lips swelling, pushing against the padding.
And secretly, Nina hoped that the doctor would ask her if she needed her diaper changed. Because she’d let him change it, if he wanted to.
BLAKE PULLED into the clinic at the end of main street.
Normally, he would have gone in to work much earlier, but he’d called in and let Mary at the front desk know that he had a girl in need at his house, and had told her to give his appointments to Dr. Holsten and Dr. Avery. He knew that both of the men who also served as doctors in Littletown would understand.
If they had called with the same request, Blake would have gladly taken on their patients for the day.
He finished parking, and went around to unbuckle Nina from her seat. She was holding her knees together tightly.
“What is it sweetie? Are you nervous?”
“A little bit,” she whimpered, “is it...okay I’m dressed like this?”
He put his hand on her face, and caressed her cheek. “Darling, you’re in Littletown. This is a place that will respect you and treat you with the care you deserve.”
She smiled meekly, as though she believed him but she was still getting used to being so special.
She took his hand, and he led her inside. Her diaper crinkled with each step, and Blake knew that it was probably time to change her. He smiled. She was probably too embarrassed to ask him, and he understood it. That’s exactly why a little like her needed a daddy—someone to take the lead and take care of her without her having to ask.
They stepped through the front sliding glass doors and were met with a rush of clean air.
“Good morning Dr. Merrin,” Mary said. She adjusted her glasses on her face, and her eyes dropped to Nina, and then her hand in Blake’s hand. She smiled. “Hi!”
Nina waved shyly with her freehand. “Hello.”
Mary stood up from behind the front desk. She was a tall woman with black hair, and she held her hand out. “I’m Mary,” she introduced herself. “I...help the doctors in Littletown take care of daddies and their littles.”
“Oh,” Nina was clearly shy and embarrassed, but Mary’s friendliness seemed to coax her out of her shell. She lifted her head and looked around, then she took Mary’s hand. “It’s nice to meet you, Mary. My name is Nina.”
Mary gushed. “That’s such an adorable name,” she said, squeezing Nina’s small hand. She pushed a button and a door on the side of the reception desk opened.
“Thankyou Marry,” Blake said. “Come Nina, right this way.” He led her through the door, and down the long white hallway.
“I’m taking you to my personal office,” he explained each step so as not to overwhelm her.
She nodded, following him with complete trust, and he had no intention of ruining that.
He opened the door at the end of the hall, and led her inside. “Okay,” his voice lifted in that familiar and professional cadence, “let’s get you up on the table here, sweetie.” He helped her step onto the stool and held her steady while she turned around to sit down.
The clean tissue paper on the long flat chair crinkled under her equally crinkling diaper. She adjusted herself on the chair, and bit her lower lip.
Suddenly she seemed closed off to him. Blake didn’t like that.
“What do you want me to do, Dr. Merrin?” she asked meekly.
“I want you to relax, firstly,” he said. He went to the cabinet in the corner of the room and retrieved a blood pressure cuff and his stethoscope. “I’m sorry Nina, that I didn’t do this sooner,” he said, and sat down on the rolling chair beside the cabinet. His brow furrowed. “You deserve better care than that and I intend to give that to you now.”
“Oh, um...it’s okay,” she said.
“No,” he corrected her, “it’s not.” He rolled the pink fabric of her blouse up her arm, then wrapped the blood pressure cuff around her arm.
“You’re going to feel a little pressure...it might feel like it pinches, but it will stop, okay?”
She nodded.
Her skirt rode up her knees slightly, and from where Blade sat in his chair he could see the faint hint of her diaper and it reminded him that she would need to be changed.
“Your blood pressure looks perfect,” he said, “this is very good.” He unwrapped the cuff from her arm and gently unrolled her pink blouse.
She held her arm out so obediently that Blake silently kicked himself for not being more forceful about her care when they first met. She did exactly as he said, and it reminded him of how much her well-being was his responsibility, and not hers.
But he kept this to himself, and continued her examination.
He put the earpieces of his stethoscope in each ear, then lifted the diaphragm to her chest. Her head hung down, watching him as he slid her blouse to the side and placed the cold metal to her chest.
She gasped from the cold. The reaction always made him smile, but something about this little’s reaction made his heart warm.
She trusted him, and watched as he took care of her.
He would be more forceful from not on, he thought. He would not let this little girl down again. His only saving grace was that she didn’t realize that he had done so.
“Is it… good?” she asked in a tiny voice.
“Yes,” he said, listening to her heartbeat. It was strong. Even. Perfect.
“Okay, breathe in deeply three times,” he directed her, “and then let each breath out slowly.”
She did as he said, and breathed in as deep as she could. When she was finished, he lowered the diaphragm, letting it hang on his chest
.
“Everything sounds normal,” he said. “Now, I want you to lay back for me.”
“Okay,” she said. She had become putty in his office, and he watched how she was so eager to obey him. To please him.
And some part of that realization broke his heart a little, because he knew she was so hungry to be taken care of. Her willingness seemed to spring from a deep and primal need to matter to someone.
And he intended to prove to her without a doubt that she mattered to him.
“Are you ticklish?” he stood up, looking down at her with a warm and rested smile on his face.
“Umm...I don’t know?” she said honestly. She looked up at him with expectant eyes.
“I guess we will find out then,” he said, lifting her pink blouse up her stomach. “I’m going to check your tummy and feminine parts with this stethoscope. It might be cold, though not as cold as before.”
“Because I already warmed it up.”
“That’s right,” he said. “But it might tickle. We will see.”
He rested the stethoscope on her pale tummy, just above her hip bones, checking either side. She held perfectly still, though her eyes had dropped to watch.
He slid the diaphragm up to her ribs, and checked either side.
She wiggled a bit to get away, though it was clear that she tried not to. But Blake knew that she couldn’t help it; she was indeed ticklish.
This warmed his chest, but he kept his face stern.
“Try not to move,” he directed her, placing his hand on her side to hold her in place.
“Sorry,” she giggled. “It tickles!”
He pulled the stethoscope away, leaving her pink blouse raised above her stomach.
“Alright,” he said, “time for the next phase of your care.”
NINA LAID back on the exam table, and watched Dr. Merrin as he rolled across the gap between her and the cabinets.
He came back to her with baby powder and a clean diaper.
Nina was relieved to get her diaper changed, but the idea of laying on the table under the bright light with her legs spread open made her nervous. She would be completely exposed to him. She put her finger to her mouth, watching him.
