The Fairy Club Page 25

Emily stayed and helped us set the room for the next day before we all dislocated back home.

Bob came out of his room after dinner, looking quite pensive. Emily didn’t mind, though. She came to his side immediately and asked, “How did it go? Why are you back here?”

Bob smiled and patted her hair. “It went just fine. We reached her room with no problem and her parents seem very understanding, even more than ours, but I couldn’t stay there.”

  She frowned. “Why?”

He sighed. “Her family is not well-off. It’s quite poor, really. They live in a small apartment. Elrica only has a narrow bed in her room, where we can’t possibly sleep together, and they have no spare room.”

“I can enlarge her bed, make it suitable for two if you like,” Emily suggested.

“How can you? I mean, we’ve not yet learned much magic.”

She smiled. “I’m an angel, you know, and I’ve had more than two months’ worth of intensive training with the young angels. Besides, I’m sure you can also do it if you just concentrate.”

Bob sighed. “Maybe after I get more comfortable with my magic. It still feels more like a weird dream than like reality, although I surely like it.”

“So, do you want to take me there and change her bed?” she insisted.

“Sure! Her parents were checking their savings, wondering if they could afford to buy her a new bed, and what they would have to give up instead. I don’t think they would complain if you save them that expense.”

Emily hugged him and they both disappeared. A few minutes later, she reappeared in the room, looking quite smug. “They’re already checking the enlarged bed. I had to stay a bit longer to adjust the spare bedclothes to the new size, but that didn’t bother them.”

She then changed her expression. “I think I need to visit some of the boys. I feel extremely horny, and I’m sure they wouldn’t mind helping me with that.” She disappeared as soon as she finished talking.

  34 Races

Unlike the previous clubs, Gran had put in her lesson plans much more. I wasn’t sure why, but she included some things that we’d kept somewhat secret until then, like thought messages, size changing, and what she termed as “creative use of imagination,” to which she didn’t give any real explanation, intending to be present at that time.

Still, we had the normal lessons first. After they all learned to change when nude, we started on changing with cloths, using paper clothing, as usual. I saw Emily getting closer to the boy she had previously chosen. I had mixed feelings about that. I knew her magic needed sex, yet she was too young for that and certainly too young for finding her mate. And then, maybe her biological age was irrelevant, once her magic kicked in? It was so confusing!

This time, Bob was noticing the way Emily and her chosen partner were acting, and he seemed quite upset about it. I had to speak with him to make sure he wouldn’t intervene. “Let them be. Just as your magic made you find your mate, their magic may be doing the same, and if you try to stop that, it may just cause harm.”

“But she’s too young to be mated for life!” he insisted. “She slept with him once, yesterday, and now the second time. If they do it once again, they may become mated!”

I gave it a quick thought. “I don’t think so. Emily visited some of her boyfriends after you returned to your mate. I suspect there must be three consecutive copulations, not ones separated by copulating with other partners.”

Actually, the other boys seemed to be quite busy. Whenever we were all in our fairy forms, hormones seemed to rage and all the girls seemed to ask for sex. Even Emily’s chosen partner was unable to refuse the other girls, although he was giving her much more attention.

In a way, I felt relieved when we finished that part of our curriculum. As much as I liked sex, watching my brother and my sister copulating with their respective partners was a bit unsettling. We moved on to teaching some more complex magic and some history. It was the latter subject that let me invite the guests. After some introductory lessons, I had Ella visit us. I was surprised that she arrived with Kathy and her child.

“This is my friend Ella. While extremely magical, she’s not a fairy. Ella is a young elf who has chosen to live on Earth for a while. I think we may all benefit from her lecture. The other young lady here is Kathy, a powerful and talented fairy, who is making some history on her own. We shall probably hear her story a bit later.”

Ella didn’t disappoint us. She first removed the illusions, letting us all see her true form. Emily smiled delightedly when her observations proved correct. Ella was beautiful either with or without the illusions, and everybody seemed to like her. She spent several hours telling us about ancient history, about the way the different species (or races, as it now seemed) were created and about the relations between them and other magical beings.

After a late lunch, (during which some girls, including Emily, retired for some quick sex) it was Kathy’s time to speak. I wasn’t sure what she intended to say, but I trusted her, and she didn’t disappoint me. Kathy spoke about her rebellious nature and how it led her to the pixies and what made her realize how shallow that kind of life was. She then spoke about learning to change her size, and how it made her meet the elves as an equal, eventually making her the mate of their throne-prince and the mother of the next in line. She then presented her son, whom Ella had kept busy and quiet until then. The very handsome boy who was almost two years old seemed completely normal. One had to look hard to notice that his ears were a bit elongated and his eyes were slightly larger than usual.

All the girls seemed fascinated by the little boy, but that was too much attention for him. He ran to his mother and asked to be taken in her arms. Once safely perched, he seemed more willing to get the attention of others.

A few days later, Gordon knocked on the door only a few minutes after we started. This time, I kept my introductions to a minimum. “We met this young man more than a year ago and he proved to be much more than he seems. He thought it would be beneficial to talk to you and we agreed. Please welcome Gordon Haviland!”

He smiled thankfully at me before he started speaking. “You’ve already heard about the different magical species on Avalon, and you’ve also been told that they now seem to be only different races of the same species, as Princess Kathy proved beyond doubt. I came here to talk with you about a race that seems to be misunderstood, although it contributed quite a bit to the misconceptions about it. I’m talking about the goblins. Due to the illusions I use, most of you only see me as a slightly short young man, but I’m actually a goblin. Let me remove the illusions, so you can see me in my true form.”

There were a few gasps when he was seen in his true form, yet I also noticed the spark of lust in one’s girl’s eyes, at least. I was sure his lecture would go very well. Three hours later, when we had a break, I noticed that girl, Ashley, leading Gor to a side room. Some time later, I saw them coming back, both smiling. Gor had his arm around her waist and I could sense that there was more than only lust there. I wondered where it could lead.

This time, when we went on our field trips, we didn’t need Gran’s help. Due to the different lesson plans, they all knew how to use portals, and we used one for reaching a nice forest for our first field trip. Emily paired in a tent with her chosen boy, despite Bob’s frown. He and Elrica shared a tent too, of course. The two remaining boys were snagged by two of the girls, leaving two girls sharing a tent. As most of our participants this time came from rural areas, living in a tent didn’t seem to bother any.

A week later we made our trip to Avalon. Gran decided to join us, just as a guard. It went very well. I was fascinated when both Bob and Elrica found their wands during the first few hours, and I was able to help them shape their wands and use them. As we approached the elf village, we all changed our size and were welcome on a short visit. Gran, Brian, and I got a lot of attention from the elves, but none of us wanted to speak about it. Emily was also getting a lot of attention, a
nd I saw several male elves looking at her lustfully, but she thought nothing of it.

As we left the elf village, Emily suggested a short visit with the angels. It was not in our plans, but Gran admitted it could be very educational. Emily disappeared for a moment, returning with a wide smile, her wings now feathery. “You are all welcome to join the angels for a festive lunch,” she said.

During lunch, I saw David talking animatedly with Gran, both seeming to understand each other well. We took a quick tour of the main features of Angel Halls and then left. Despite being invited to stay there for the night, we tried to stick to our plan of camping and living off the land.

We set camp in our fairy size and lit a fire, as it was turning dark. We sat around the fire, exchanging stories and sipping some warmed flower nectar, when another small group of fairies appeared. They landed in a formation and their leader turned to me. “Junior, may we join you for the evening? Our chieftain believes that it’s about time that the two races become one.”

It took me a moment to realize that these were pixies. Their skin was just as pale as mine and they seemed serious about their request, waiting anxiously for my reply. I smiled at them. “You’re welcome to join us and share some stories with us if you like.”

They seemed relieved. The five pixies sat down among us. They looked just like fairies and were probably about as young as the rest, although on a different timescale. They only listened, at first, trying to understand stories about our earlier visits, which sounded fantastic to them, if only due to the size changes. Stories about life on earth seemed to be well beyond their understanding, as nothing they had known and experienced in their life on Avalon was even remotely similar.

Eventually, they opened up, adding some stories of their own. The youngest started telling, “My sister was leading the group that tried to entice some fairies to join us, about two years ago. It was just a small group of six fairies, and her group had about twice as many, so it seemed a sure bet. She didn’t count on one of them being Junior Sophie. Once they found out, they were barely able to keep flying, as they knew that their whole group was no match for that powerful fairy. Yet Junior Sophie acted very politely with them, making it possible to finally improve the relations between the two species.” The young pixie had probably missed the conversation her leader had with me.

“But why should they be afraid of her?” I asked.

“Don’t you know? She and her mate almost destroyed the goblins without letting anybody get harmed. She’s smart and powerful. I hope to never get on her wrong side.”

“Why should you be so concerned? I’m just another fairy, like the rest.”

Her eyes widened in surprise. “Are you Junior Sophie? You look too young to be a Junior, but I can sense you’re very powerful.”

“I really am too young for being a Junior, but that was not my decision. I think you’re also quite powerful.”

The pixie blushed. “Thank you, Junior. You’re very kind.”

  I shrugged. “What’s your name?”

“Dorna, but why do you ask?”

I smiled. “Well, it’s easier to think of you as Dorna than of that pixie with the reddish-brown hair and shy smile.”

She smiled shyly again. “You’re really an inspiration to us. I hope to be able to do at least a few deeds like you, to make a difference in the life of my people.”

Her word sparked an idea in my mind, but I didn’t think this was the right time to speak of it. “You may have your chance in the future. How old are you?”

“I’m two years old. That would be . . . about fifteen in human terms.”

“That’s certainly young. I believe you can make a difference. Just try to learn as much as you can and keep an open mind. Look for me in a few months. I may have something for you.”

Dorna was really nice. I chatted some more with her and then moved to get to know the other pixies. They were all about as young as Dorna, with their leader being slightly older. I was fascinated by their stories about their childhood, how they grew up, their first bouts of magic, and the way they were living as (almost) grownups. They liked to hear our stories about Earth, which sounded like fairy-tales to them. Eventually, it was getting late. “We must return now,” their leader said, looking like she’d really like to stay much longer.

“I think you may join us for our trip tomorrow morning,” I told her.

“Maybe you can even visit the Fair Palace with us,” Gran added.

The pixie’s eyes seemed larger at once. “Are you sure? That would be really something to look forward to!”

Gran smiled. “Luckily, my position allows me to invite some guests.”

The pixie frowned as if trying to remember something. “Your position? Who are you, actually?”

Gran’s smile widened. “Just Sophie’s grandmother. I’m Fairlady Edith.”

The pixie’s jaw almost dropped to the ground. “Oh! That’s really an honor to meet you! I do hope we can act properly and give the right impression. Oh, the Chieftain would be so excited!”

They then left, promising to come back at the crack of dawn. We also retired for the night a short while later. I was sure that the next day would be just as interesting.

The pixies arrived while we were still getting ready. They volunteered to help dismantle the tents, marveling at how they were built. Soon enough we were ready. Brian and I led the group, aiming for the goblin palace. We were surprised to see a squad of goblins, all wearing ceremonial uniforms, rushing outside the gates and forming an honor guard of two rows, with their commander taking the position, heading towards us, clearly expecting us to land. That had never been a part of our plan, yet we clearly couldn’t disregard the evident expectations of the goblins.

Our pixie companions seemed agitated, not trusting the goblins. I turned to face our whole group, still fluttering in the air. “The goblins are clearly expecting us to visit and not only to peek from afar. I suggest we land and change our size to match theirs, and then proceed on foot to meet them.”

“Are you sure it’s safe?” one of the pixies asked.

“We visited there for a couple of days a few weeks back, and they were very good hosts. Their new king seems to lead some welcome changes in their attitude. I’m sure we’ll be safe there,” I replied.

“We can’t change our size,” another pixie said.

“I’ll teach you. It should be quite easy for you,” Brian promised.

We all landed. The club members changed size immediately. Brian and I spent a short time explaining that to the pixies. They were reluctant, at first, and then tried it. Dorna was the first to succeed, making the others gain some confidence, which helped them achieve the same. With everybody the right size, we approached the guards.

It felt like a repeat of our previous visit. King Gor welcomed our whole group, and some of his top officials led us on a quick tour, presenting mainly the art and culture of the Goblin Nation, along with its talents at different crafts. Although they didn’t try to hide their military prowess, it was only a minor subject. We spent most of the morning there. My students were fascinated, and the pixies were almost overwhelmed. None could have expected such a positive experience with the goblins.

We didn’t stay there for lunch. As soon as we arrived there I asked to make this visit short and to not include lunch, since we were expected at the Fair Palace, and we still had to return to Earth before the end of the day. It took much longer than initially expected, nevertheless.

We changed back to our fairy size as soon as we left the goblin territory. I had to skip over visiting the dragons and the unicorns, for lack of time, and headed straight to the Fair Palace. Gran moved to the front as we approached. “I need to open the way for our guests, and not the way you barged through the angel defenses.” There was a gleam in her eyes, making me believe that she was quite proud of me, really.

Brian and I kept a close eye on the pixies. Although they seemed trustworthy, we didn’t want any incident du
e to their different upbringing or some prejudices on the fairy side. It proved redundant, though, as they behaved very nicely and as they hadn’t changed their skin color, they were practically indistinguishable from the fairies, except for their greater enthusiasm and joy at being accepted.

I was also monitoring Emily. Although she changed to look like a fairy, except during our visit with the angels, she wasn’t really a fairy. Yet she seemed to enjoy the visit just as much, and the fairy food seemed to be very much to her liking. I couldn’t miss her copulating with her chosen mate a few more times, yet no golden fog appeared. Maybe Angel Magic was different, at least considering mating.

That night, when we finally reached home, Emily was too tired to say more than “goodnight” to my parents. I felt thankful that she didn’t start telling me about all her experiences. I needed my sleep just as badly, but only after spending a few minutes cuddling Tracey, that is.

  35 Aftermath

We had assigned the next day off, allowing the club members to recuperate and to enjoy some much-needed sex, for those who hadn’t had partners during our trip. For us, it was also a day to contemplate the meaning of this vastly different field trip.

Of course, being parents to an inquisitive and energetic toddler forced us to wake up quite early and then keep an eye (or more) on her while talking with each other. Gran soon joined us, looking very contemplative. We didn’t talk much. We mainly exchanged a few thought messages, each deep in thought.

Emily was the next to join us. “Why are you all so serious? Judging by the serious faces, one could think the trip was a total failure. Don’t you see it was a great success?”

I smiled at her. “We’re all aware of the great success. We also know that you had a certain part in it. We’re not so sure how to go forward, though. Before I reached my fairy powers, Gran was sure that no major change could be expected about the relations between the different species, as she then thought of them. Now it looks like change is happening, moving us at a fast pace in a direction which promises more unity and shows us to be no more than different races of a single species, or even closer than that. The last two days even seem to have accelerated this process. This is a welcome change, yet we should be cautious, as going too fast may also be dangerous.”
