The Boxer and the Blacksmith

Thank you to my family, all over the country. Thank you to my exceptional aunt, Mary Joy Quinn for the video chats and the writerly talk. And for telling me to buy more wine. Everyone should be so lucky to have a Mary Joy in their life.
Thank you to Dennis, my step-father, for the idea of a cast of characters, and for being the best Boppa any grandkid could ask for. And to my mother, Rebecca, for making tea and not being embarrassed by the steamy scenes in my book.
Thank you to PBS kids app, for entertaining my child while I snuck in writing time. I think he can read now?
And, as always, thank you to my husband, Andy, love of my life. You took over bed time so I could work more. But you also cooked dinner, did the laundry, and took the kiddo out for adventures so I could spend time with imaginary people who would be long dead anyway, all without complaint, and mostly without prompting. You make my dreams come true, and I am grateful.
