“Actually, I have this thing with my sister. One of her kids is going off to Europe in the morning. Kind of have to drop in. I hope you don’t mind something more informal.”
“Are you introducing me to your family?”
“Part of it. Do you want to come? It’s not a swanky dinner, I’m afraid.”
“Don’t need swanky dinners.”
Walking over to the passenger door, she got in as he got in the driver’s seat. “Got a bit of time to kill. Should we go for a little drive?”
“Sure. Actually, if, by chance, I’m going to stay the night, I’m gonna need some things for the morning.”
“I was hoping you would. Okay, let’s go get you your things.”
Driving off, he took them towards her neighbourhood.
“I didn’t know you had a sister,” she said as she watched him drive.
“Older. Two kids. Twins. You’ll meet them later.”
“I learn something new about you every day.”
The car pulled into her driveway and he killed the engine, but instead of letting her get out, he pulled her into a kiss. Heat licked along her insides as warm, smooth lips explored hers. A moan escaped her. It was so good. For while, she’d worried that she’d never experience this again.
The car was too cramped to do anything, but it was lovely just to be kissing. His hand snuck inside her blouse, cupping her breast and she melted. She needed more. Her body was on fire. “We’re very close to my bedroom,” she panted.
“That is convenient.”
“You’re not allergic to cats, are you?”
She felt his smile against her lips. “No.”
“I have a cat.”
“I figured. Maybe we should go shock the life out of it.”
Bella paused. She’d never invited him into her flat and now she was worried about what she’d left out.
“What’s the matter?” he asked.
“Nothing?”
“Is something wrong? Or is it someone you’re worried about?” There was suspicion in his eyes now as he pulled away from the kiss. Her lips missed him.
“Just not sure my flat is ready to receive visitors.”
“I honestly don’t think I’d notice if it was.” Soft fingers ran down the skin of her abdomen. Oh, her her shirt was completely unbuttoned and her bra on display. Luckily, they were in quite a secluded spot. “What I’m saying is that I would not want there to be anyone else in the picture.”
“There isn’t. Does that go both ways?”
Their eyes met and he watched her for a moment before nodding. “Both ways.”
That fully sounded like a relationship more than a date, but then he was introducing her to his sister.
Again he kissed her, plunging into her mouth and all thoughts fleeted from her mind. There was only him. Her guy—her beautiful guy. It would take a little time for her to be comfortable calling him her boyfriend, but right now, she needed to get his clothes off.
Tearing herself away, she opened the car and got out, holding her top, and her skirt was bunched around her middle. She raced to her door and stuck the key in, almost dropping it when she felt him join her, the warmth of him behind her.

Best Laid Plans –D’Arth series book 2– Samantha D’Arth never expected to act as someone’s surrogate and it certainly wasn’t a typical undertaking on during the post-university world travel circuit, but her half-brother and his wife’s difficulties had made her understanding and compassionate to the plight of childless couples. What she hadn’t expected was to be confronted with Sebastian Luc and his girlfriend. She’d gushed over pictures of him in magazines as a teenager.
Sebastian and his supermodel girlfriend made for a beautiful couple, and it seemed that being rich and beautiful didn’t spare them the devastation of infertility, or from their own tumultuous tempers, placing Sam in a very awkward position.
Coast – Getting a job at the local Coast Burger outlet wasn’t exactly the height of social success, but I, Pepper Minnow, was unfortunately not in the position to just hang out all summer waiting for college to start. The uniform looked like death, the customers were awful, and they even smelled worse than the burger grease at times. And then there were the co-workers, a complicated story. Riley, in particular, was just an asshole. He wasn’t ugly, but I could definitely talk myself into seeing him that way.
