Damaris has been my best friend since the first grade. She has truly been there for me through thick and thin. I thank her especially for always saying the right words in times of turmoil. She always knows how to make me laugh, even in the most challenging situations. She is my favourite person in the whole world. Thanks for all your love and support.
To Tara, a college roommate turned life-long friend. Her dedication to God inspired me to get to know Him better. She also is a strong woman who, on more than one occasion, has had my back when people put me down. Thanks for being in my corner.
To Ronnelia, someone who I once passed in a hallway, not knowing how worthy she would be to me throughout my life. I was in college when I met Ronnelia. She was sitting alone in the hallway of our dorm and I passed her without taking a second look. Several months later, she became one of my best friends. She stood by me in court, holding my hand when I went through some of my most painful moments. And her voice can bring anyone out of a pit. Thanks for always lifting me up when life throws me a curveball.
To Erin, my baby mama. I know it’s weird, me calling another female her baby mama, but that’s who she is to me and I love her dearly. It is my term of endearment to the woman who birthed and raises my beloved stepdaughter, Asia. When I first met Erin, I remember thinking that she’d be a great friend if she wasn’t my fiancé’s baby mama. Over time, she did become a friend—one of my best friends. We decided to raise our children together and there is nothing like two women coming together for the benefit of their babies. Just imagine how different the world would be if Sarah and Hagar came together for Isaac and Ishmael’s benefit. Thanks for showing me love and acceptance through tough situations.
To my beautiful children and stepchildren. Thank you so much for putting loads of excitement, challenge, and humour into my life. Thank you for bearing with me as I struggled to figure out this whole motherhood thing. And thanks for a life filled with love.
To Sheldon, my dear friend and life partner. Thank you for you love and support. Thank you for being my prayer partner. Thanks for sharing your life and your experiences with me, some of which inspired this book. And thank you for helping me to believe in 1 Corinthians 13 again. Love you always.
To my readers: Thank you all for supporting me and taking the time to read this book. I hope you enjoyed it. Be blessed and stay optimistic.
Also, I would really appreciate if you could please leave a review:
