Solstice 2

I knew she wanted me to. The pull was strong for us both. She knew as well as I did that we would gain strength, mutually, if we had sex.

I wanted it... and so did she.

Give in? I wondered. Do it now? Maybe have more strength for whatever’s coming?

When Nell suddenly leaned in, her soft lips brushing mine, I knew I had no more choice in the matter. I could no longer resist. I slid my hands up under her skirt and felt along her panties, then over her bare bottom underneath them. She groaned softly and rubbed her pussy against the bulge in my pants, gently humping me.

“I don’t know what it is about you,” she whispered. “I can’t resist.”

  “It’s my blood.”

Her eyes widened, and then something dawned in them — realization, perhaps. Nell seemed pretty knowledgeable about things — I felt sure she was aware of the line of Bloodborne and just how powerful the effects of my lineage were.

  “You’re a king... Not just a hero. A king.”

  I nodded.

“I haven’t known a king before,” she purred, her voice sultry, throaty with desire. “It’s in my nature to... to want to be bound.”

“Like, physically?” I asked, wondering if she was about to ask me to pull out the restraints.

“No...mentally. Emotionally. Magically.” She shivered. “You have power about you, great power. You are one who is worthy of my allegiance. I wish to be bound to you, as your companion, your vassal.”

“But what about Elysa?” I still had no idea where she’d gone.

“She’s still here. She’s just not present at the moment.” Nell giggled.

“Not present?” I raised an eyebrow. “What does that mean?”

  “It means she’s...indisposed.”

I didn’t like the sound of that.

“Is she all right? Is she safe?”

“Oh yes, she’s safe.” Nell didn’t exactly sound pleased about that. “She’ll be fine, don’t worry.”

  “Where is sh....”

I couldn’t finish, because Nell put her finger to my lips. “I have a better idea than talking about this. How about you bind me.”

“And how would I do that?” She was pushy, but clearly had knowledge — and magic. Two things that could be useful. Especially since she was the only one who’d given me any kind of clue what was going on in this weird town since we’d arrived.

  “Being inside me.”

Her words, whispered at my ear, sent shivers down my spine.

“When you put your cock in me, it starts the binding ritual. I need to have sex...to be truly fucked in order to be claimed by my new master. Do you think you can do it?” she whispered, challenge in her eyes.

“I sure as hell want to try.”

She giggled. “I’m sure you won’t disappoint.”

She reached between us, unzipping my trousers, removing the thick, hard cock from my pants. She worked her panties to the side, her lips parting, her face flushed, breathing hard. Her breasts moved faster; I gripped them, running my fingers over her nipples. I tugged the fabric of her top down, exposing them so I could play with them and squeeze them.

Nell sighed in pleasure as she sank down on me, impaling herself on my cock. She shuddered; her whole body went slack for a moment, and then I was all the way inside her, filling her completely. “Ohhh fuck,” she gasped. “Wow, you’re big. You really are what they say you are...”

I didn’t know what that was, and at the moment, didn’t care. All I could think was how incredibly tight and wet she felt; how hot and inviting. I pushed deeper inside until my cock bottomed out in her walls.

She started to ride my, biting her lip. My cock moved wonderfully inside her, sliding back and forth, her hot wet pussy enveloping me.

  Chapter 4

“Fuck is right,” I grunted. “Gods, you feel amazing inside.”

  “Fuck me,” she gasped.

I took her by the hips and started to slide my cock back and forth, eagerly probing her hot, wet depths. Over and over I thrust inside her, pounding, working up a steady rhythm within. She gasped, leaning in close and kissing me, her lips moving against mine. I sucked on her bottom lip and tongue, making her moan in pleasure, her breasts pressing against my chest. I gripped them hard and squeezed.

I started to really pound her, thrusting fast and hard, giving in to the rhythm building inside me. I couldn’t hold back anymore. I needed to claim her — to bind her as she had requested.

I gripped her tighter, our lips crushing together in a hot kiss. My throbbing cock pulsed inside her, the folds of her warm pussy eagerly taking me. Again and again I filled her, our rhythm building. She soared to climax, as did I; soon we were both crashing over the edge. I pulsed inside her, my dick spurting within her confines.

Her soft, furred tail slid around my waist, holding me tight. We continued our kiss, the heat and intensity of it slowly fading. The orange glow in her eyes remained; it burned brightly for a moment, highlighting her pupils, and then dwindled to a dim spark.

I felt different. Something inside me seemed to shift, as though I was connected to Nell. I could hear her heartbeat more clearly. I could feel the throb of her pulse. I could almost even sense her thoughts...

We’re connected, I realized. How, exactly, I wasn’t sure. Obviously it was magic — but beyond the scope of my knowledge.

“What happened?” I asked, entranced by the slowly fading glow of her pupils.

“You tamed me. Bound me. Now I belong to you — I am yours.”

I still don’t really understand what that means, but okay. “If you say so.”

She smiled and snuggled against me. Laying her head on my chest, she wrapped her arms tightly around me, my dick still inside her. Slowly I pulled out, stroking my fingers through her hair.

“How often are we going to do that, master?” she asked.

Master? That’s a new one. “Um....well, we can do it whenever you like.”

“You’d better not make promises you can’t keep,” she giggled.

“Oh trust me, I can keep it.” Just the feel of her hot little body against mine had me ready to go again. My cock was starting to swell.

Then, suddenly, poof. Elysa appeared where she had been, right in the same spot — centered in the floorboards beside us.

“Um...whoa.” She staggered a little bit, unsteady, then slowly started to regain her balance. “What happened...where am I?”

Nell slid off my lap, and I quickly zipped up my pants. Moving to Ely’s side, I put my hands on her shoulders to steady her.

“Easy there,” I said. “You’ve just been through some kind of magical wormhole or something.”

“A what?” She held her head. “Oh man. I think I’m gonna be sick.”

I carefully helped her to the table and sat her down. “Nell, can you get her some water? Maybe some crackers to settle her stomach?”

  “Coming right up, sir.”

Ely looked up, noticing Nell for the first time. She looked like she wanted to ask about her, but her face was a little too green. I guessed she wasn’t in the mood to expend more energy than she needed to.

As Nell left, moving into the adjoining kitchen, I felt a strange tug. As if, the minute she was gone, part of me had gone with her. That was weird.

“Ely, what happened? Do you remember anything?” I asked, turning back to my elven companion. I sat down beside her, putting my hand on her shoulder.

“Bits and pieces. Mostly what I remember is...Being in some kind of weird, swirly place. There were clouds around me, and the ground shook a little bit. It looked sort of lil where, but there was a castle. Stone walls, stone floor...Everything around me was built so sturdily, yet I couldn’t get my footing.”

“So it was some kind of fantasy world? Somewhere that felt like a dream?”

“Yes,” she said, sounding far off. She gazed straight in front of her, like she was seeing a place that I couldn’t. “It was somewhere much different. Somewhere tha
t should have been nice, but it was so lonely.”

  “You were by yourself, then.”

She nodded. She turned back to me, looking me in the eye. She put her hand on my thigh and leaned close, resting her head on my shoulder. “It felt strange not being at your side.”

I put my hand to her head comfortingly, gently pressing my fingers against her scalp. “You’re back now. That’s the important thing.”

Nell returned a few minutes later with a steaming mug of tea on a tray, as well as a glass of water and some crackers and cheese. She set them down for Ely, looking at her with an expression of concern.

  “Are you okay?”

“I’ve been better. Thanks for asking.” Ely took a cracker and bit into it gently.

  “I’m Nell, by the way.”

  “Elysa.”

The two shook hands. I was surprised how well — and easily — they were getting along. Maybe I’d just expected them to be jealous... but then, jealousy didn’t seem to be a big issue in this game. Unless I’d just gotten really lucky with the choice of girls I’d made.

As Ely quietly munched on her crackers and sipped her tea, Nell moved over to me and sat at the other side, next to me. She watched with the same concerned look, her tail moving slowly back and forth, as if in time with her thoughts.

“We should get a move on soon,” she said. “You never know what kind of weird things are going to happen next.”

  “Like what?” I asked.

“The dragon I told you about — his name is Greats — changes things a lot. He likes to cause trouble. So basically he alters the magical field here, making unexpected things happen.”

“Greats? That’s a weird name for a dragon.”

“It’s his nickname. No one knows his real name. He just started calling himself Greats.”

“Well, obviously he has a ton of ego, then.”

Elysa smirked. “Yeah, that’s common for the males of this world, isn’t it?”

“Seems to be,” agreed Nell. The two gave each other a secretive little smile that I had to wonder about.

“Hey, what are you saying? I haven’t even claimed my birthright yet.”

  Ely just laughed.

We left the tavern, treading carefully. I noticed that now, there were little potholes scattered across the road, deep and black. The strange thing was, looking into them, you could see a huge, dark void, like looking into empty space. I had the distinct impression that stepping into one would be bad.

“Watch out for those,” Nell warned. “You can fall into empty space if you step on one.”

“How do you know all this? And what does that even mean?”

She grimaced. “I told you about Greats, right? Well, the thing is, I’m kind of connected to him.”

“Connected how?” I could see that being useful and problematic. If she was connected to him, he probably had some way of seeing what she was doing... and us, by proximity.

“I told you about the binding. He tried to do it with me, years ago. And I was okay with it. But then he got too scary, changing into his full form — and it freaked me out. I said I didn’t want to anymore, but the ritual was partway completed.” Nell paused along the pathway, putting her hand to her arm over her breasts. She lowered her gaze, looking sad. Her ears drooped, her tail no longer swishing rhythmically as it had been.

I sensed this was a tough topic for her to talk about. “Hey, it’s okay,” I said, putting my hand on her shoulder.

She leaned into me appreciatively. “Thanks. It’s just kind of weird — I’ve never opened up to anyone like this.”

I wrapped her in a hug. “You’re safe with me.”

“Thanks.’ She let out a breath. “Anyway. So I never got fully bound to him. But it didn’t matter because the ritual was halfway finished. Instead of being fully bound, I was partially bound...so I can still hear his thoughts and sometimes, he can hear mine.”

“Does he know what you’re doing? Can he see us?”

She looked up at me, her eyes wide and soulful. Shaking her head, she said, “No. I’ve learned to control the connection to where he can’t actually see me. Unless I allow him.”

“Do you let him do that often?”

  “Not very.”

She took my hand and led me carefully along the path. Ely followed close beside. The three of us managed to make our way safely down the road, avoiding the big black holes, which finally smoothed out as we neared the little church at one end of the town.

I noticed something else weird. There were fewer townspeople running back and forth. Like everyone had just mysteriously vanished.

And then, suddenly, the world around me vanished, too.

  What the —

I realized I was back in the real world, and that the game world had vanished.

  Shit. The power went out.

I looked around and realized I was alone in the darkened house. If Trish was around, she was totally silent — and that was unlikely.

“Trish?” I called. “You still here?”

Damn. I got so absorbed in the game I didn’t even hear her leave. Where the hell did she go? And how do I get the power back on?

I grabbed a flashlight from my desk and flicked it on, heading out to the nearby circuit breaker. Opening it, I flipped a few switches.

  No luck.

  “Weird.”

I sighed, rubbing the back of my neck. I turned to go back into the house — and saw a figure standing there on my garage doorstep. I gasped in shock, nearly dropping the light.

“What the hell? Who are you?”

I shined the light directly on the person. It was a woman — a petite, very attractive woman dressed in a smart suit with a skirt. She had her hair and makeup perfectly done, and her blouse was crisp and pressed.

  Chapter 5

  She was damn hot.

“Who are you?” I asked again. My fingers tightened around the flashlight.

“My name is Julia Richardson.” She stepped down slowly from the platform, eyeing me, looking both curious and intrigued. And a little flirty, unless that was just my imagination. “I’ve been hoping to meet you for quite some time.”

“So, what, you broke into my house and cut my electricity? You could have just called first.”

She smirked. “You’re right. I could have. But I didn’t.”

Julia walked closer, bridging the gap between us. Her fingers went to my shirt collar, clasping, and she pulled me close. “You know who I am. Surely you can put together the pieces.”

I stared. “No, I don’t. What are you talking about?” Her scent was sweet and heady, making my mind reel and my cock hard.

  “Julia Richardson. JR.”

I blinked. “That’s... that’s been you?” I felt like she’d hit me in the head with a ton of bricks. “You’re the one behind all this weirdness happening in my life?”

  She nodded.

“But why? And how? Do you have some kind of power?”

Her lips were inches from mine. “Yes, I have power. And so do you. You’ve already seen it. The things you’re doing in Solstice. Your destiny there. Those things carry into the real world... I should know. I developed the game.”

  I was in awe.

  “You made the game...?”

“Yes. I developed it. I created it, built it, hired a team to produce it, and we brought it to life.”

JR’s arms went around my waist and she held me close, as if we were old friends...or lovers.

“Um, not that I mind,” I said, “but are we together or something? You’re touching me like we’re dating.”

  “Maybe we are.” She grinned.

“No we aren’t. I’ve never met you before.”

“But don't you feel like you have? Don’t you feel a sense of kinship with me?”

She was right, when I thought about it. Maybe because of the dogtags, because of all the things that had transpired between us. She had changed my life in more ways than one, and
for the better.

“What’s your motive, though?” I couldn’t trust her. Couldn’t be sure she was genuine.

“My motive?” She looked into my eyes, thoughtful. There was something in her gaze that was compelling, that just drew me in. I could see myself easily being hooked on whatever spell she was casting over me. “My motive is to join with you. You’re different, Henry. You’re special. You have powers, you have something inside you that is unlike anyone I’ve ever known.”

“But I still don’t even get how you do know me.”

“From the game. It gave me a link to you from the beginning.”

“What kind of link?” I asked, puzzled. “You mean you and I are connected or something?”

“Yes, in a sense.” She moved her hands down my arms, looking me over, as if surveying me. Deciding if I was what she had expected. When it seemed I’d pleased her, she trailed her fingertip along my cheek. “When you log into the game, I can see what you do. But more importantly, I am now connected to you in this world, as well.”

“I’m confused. Are you in game, too?”

“Yes.” She smiled, pulling up her cell phone. She brought it close and showed me a picture of a scantily-clad, buxom warrior with a slim dagger at her side and an axe in her other hand. “This is me.”

“Your avatar.” I held it, looking close. “What’s your name, in game?”

“Anara.” She smirked. “I’m a game master.”

“You should be, if you developed it.”

She took her phone back, flicked it off, and looked up to me. “Do you want to go get coffee with me? I can talk more then.”

  I don’t know, I thought. Do I have a choice?

As compelling and beautiful as JR/Anara was, I didn’t know her. She was a stranger in my life. She’d just popped in, appeared out of nowhere. Yet, all the changes she had made were for the better.

  I decided to trust her.

  ****

We went together to a nearby coffee shop. She ordered a donut and a cup, and I got a mug of hot chocolate. The two of us sat down at a quiet, intimate booth together.
