“Yes, let me get my coat.”

As they rode to the party in his truck, Bernadine knew there were going to be a lot of logistics to figure out to make their lives as a married couple a reality, but they’d do it together. And that was all that mattered.

What also mattered was the eviction notice she’d be sending to Riley and his hog first thing in the morning.

  About the Book

  Author’s Note

  Dear Readers,

This has been our tenth trip to our favorite small town, and I hope you enjoyed it. As I traveled the country after the release of book nine: Second Time Sweeter, many of you had strong opinions about the Mal and Bernadine situation and how it might be resolved. In truth, since I had no clear-cut plan, I decided to let Bernadine lead the way. Bernadine and Mal getting married will make many readers smile. But will it really happen? Will somebody get cold feet? Will sister Diane stand up during the ceremony and denounce the whole thing? Will Bernadine try to book the Taj Mahal? Will Cletus be the ring bearer? Will Devon insist upon being the reception’s entertainment while dressed as James Brown? Stay tuned.

  Until Next Time,

  B
