Blurred heads with various facial pieces peered from windows, watching them as they ran. A few stepped out of doors and called, and Landon could almost understand them. He could pick out a couple words from the babble.
“Myra, habbechin going flockums?” shouted a man with Sam Perkins’ nose and voice.
Myra didn’t stop, and neither did Landon. They pelted down the street, as she shouted at the top of her lungs, “Quadrag healing! He’s healing!”
