The closer we get, the more nervous I become. I wonder if it was this nerve racking for Verkor showing Finley his home for the first time. I mean his home is in the Winter Court of the Faerie Realm. I smile as I remember Finley giving Obsidian his payback for sniffing out her house when she went to his. But it makes me wonder if he’ll ever take her to Shifter Realm, his realm of birth. If he does, I hope he feels just as nervous about it as I do. This shit isn’t a fun feeling.

Hell isn’t a fun place. The first few levels give you that misconception. But this is hell after all, and the worst of the levels are yet to come. I picked the heresy level for my home because it’s the quietest of the levels. It’s like middle ground. I don’t have to hear the screaming and the torture that’s yet to come. I don’t have to deal with all the loud music and drunken demons that accompany the previous levels we passed through.

This level is a place of wandering humans. Those that didn’t believe in the afterlife. Most people believe that’s what limbo is, but they’re wrong. Limbo is the place where the souls of people who didn’t want to die go. That’s why they try to jump beings, humans and demons alike, to try to get back. The reason the humans here, in heresy, wander is because they can’t grasp the reality there was actually more to come after death. They kind of get lost in a hell of their own making. Never clearly understanding what is going on. I feel a tug on my hand, breaking my thoughts. I look over and see Finley biting on her lower lip, and her eyes are filled with worry.

“Are you alright?” she asks. “I’ve been asking you questions but it’s like you spaced out.” I grimace.

“Sorry, I was thinking about my home. I hope you like it. I would like to bring you back here again. I hope coming to hell and seeing what it’s like doesn’t scare you off.” She nods.

“I wasn’t expecting what happened in the last level. I didn’t realize I had all those emotions built up inside me. I don’t normally think about my past. I’m just trying to live day to day. It was a surprise.” I move my arm from her shoulders but pull her in for a hug.

“All of us are here if you want to talk about it. I know it may not seem like it will help, but it could just by acknowledging those feelings. Whenever you want to look for answers about your past, we’ll be there every step of the way.” Finley wraps an arm around my waist, giving it a squeeze.

“Thank you.” She rests her head against my pec.

“Anytime, love, anytime.” I place a kiss to the top of her head. She lifts her head, smiling at me. I can’t help but smile back. I love her more than she’ll ever know. I don’t think I could ever express how much she means to me.

“So, not to be that person, but how much further?” I laugh.

  “Just a few more blocks.”

“Oh good, I’m starving.” She gently pats her belly.

“Come on then.” I guide us a little faster to my place.

“I’m surprised by how normal this area looks. After my mind started to clear and I was able to take in my surroundings, this doesn’t look like it belongs.” I pause for a moment, taking a look around.

“I never thought about it that way, but I can see what you mean.”

When you first enter this level, it’s a rocky place. There is pretty much nothing to it but dirt and rocky outcropping of mountains. There are no buildings, no flashy lights, just wandering humans with no destination. They continuously walk in the same area. It’s not until you move away from them and start heading in the direction of the next gate, that housing starts to appear. This area could pass for a nice suburban neighborhood in the Earth Realm. The houses look normal, cookie cutter. They vary in the sliding color from gray to white, some blues, tans. Most have front porches and the white picket fences. We stop outside of my house.

In a lot of ways, it reminds me of Obsidian's place in the Magic Realm, only slightly bigger. My house has dark gray siding, white windowpanes, and a bright white front door. I open the gate on the black fence that surrounds the property, gesturing for Finley to go ahead of me. I watch as she walks up the concrete steps leading her to the front porch. There are wicker chairs and a black round table between them. She bypasses those and walks straight to the wooden swing on the far side of the porch. The chain creaks a little as she starts to swing. I follow, jogging up the steps and walking over to her. She pauses her swinging, letting me take a seat next to her. I stretch one arm out behind her and start playing with her hair. Obsidian and Verkor sit in the wicker chairs.

“I’ve always wanted a porch swing,” she says softly. “I imagined swinging with my kids on hot summer days. Cuddling with my mate under blankets on cool autumn nights. There’s something inherently romantic about it.”

“Those images look good to me too. I’ll make sure, where we call home, we have a porch swing, so you can get your dream.” For a few minutes we all just relax, and it’s nice.

“You know, I think this is the first time I’ve seen grass down here. I didn’t think hell would be capable,” Finley says, while looking out at the yard.

“Well, anything is possible. I believe this is some form of mutated crabgrass, made to germinate in the humidity and heat of hell. Don’t forget, there are some scientists who call hell home.” Finley laughs.

“I don’t think I’ll ever get used to any of this.”

“Sure, you will. My parents will make sure we come and visit often. They’ll guilt trip us otherwise.” I look over to Finley and smile.

“I was worried about meeting them, and don’t get me wrong I still am, but I’m also kind of excited. If they are half as accepting as your sister, then I’ll be good.” I scoot closer, placing a hand over her belly.

“Trust me, they’re going to love you.” I place a kiss on her cheek, rubbing her belly.

“Where do your parents stay when they’re here?” Finley asks.

“They have a house here in the six level. Not too far from here actually. It’s nice having them close by because whenever my sister or brother can’t check on my place, they do. Well, whenever they’re actually home,” I reply.

“That must be nice,” she states.

I nod, because it is. My parents are great and I can’t wait to see her reaction when they start smothering her to death with love and affection. They’re going to flip when they find out that they’re going to be grandparents. I can’t wait to see that. We swing in silence for a few more minutes before I stand holding out my hand to her, and she takes it.

“How about I show you the inside?”

“I’d like that,” she smiles. My heart races a little faster. I’m the luckiest fucking hellhound alive.

  Chapter 9

  Finley

If you would have told me Stolas’ house was ordinary and normal; I would have laughed in your face. I mean he lives in hell for God’s sake...devil’s sake? Whatever, same damn difference. His house is the better version of mine. Not, like that’s saying much because my dwelling is straight trash. Stolas opens the front door, gesturing for me to enter. I stand still, completely floored by what I see. I turn back to look at Stolas. He’s fidgeting, which is something he doesn’t normally do.

“This is your house?” He nods, meeting my eyes then quickly looking away.

“This is it. This is my place.” His voice is soft, almost wavering. I tilt my head to the side and realize that he’s nervous. Is he worried about what I think? He glances at me from the corner of his eyes before darting his gaze away. He is.

“I think it’s beautiful from what I’ve seen so far.” I see his shoulders visibly relax, like a huge weight has been lifted off his shoulders.

I turn and look at the spacious living room. The walls are a light gray with all the borders being white. A white, furry area rug is placed in front of a gorgeous fireplace. I walk closer, running my fingers over the cold, smooth material. I pause.

“Is-is this marble?” I hear the shock in my voice, as I look over my shoulder back to Stolas, who hasn’t moved an inch.

“Yes. It was here when I bought the place. Honestly, my mother and sister decorated. I’m completely hopeless when it comes to this stuff.” He waves a hand dismissively.

I turn my attention back to the white and gray, marble fireplace. My thoughts drift a little. I can picture us, all of us, cuddled up together in front of the fireplace. The room is warm and cozy from the fire, and we’re just silent, relaxing, and enjoying each other’s company. Enjoying just being there for one another. It’s an image I’ll make sure happens.

I move, running my fingers on the soft material of the black, sectional couch that sits in the middle of the room. Various white and gray throw pillows litter the couch. There’s a beautiful white knit blanket laid over the back. I walk around the couch, kneeling on the cherry wood floor. The coffee table is a big, wooden crate, only smoother and more polished. A couple of remotes are the only items on it. I look around the room not remembering seeing a television. I spot it, just above the fireplace. I stand and continue walking around the room. A floor-to-ceiling bookcase takes up the wall directly behind the couch. I walk closer, inspecting the books, when I realize the shelves are attached to the wall. It’s not a built-in bookcase, but a wall made into one. I love it. There is sliding doors next to the bookcase that are closed. On the other side of the room, a few feet from the fireplace, are a set of stairs that I assume lead upstairs to the bedrooms. The room has a masculine feel to it, but there are feminine touches throughout.

“Your home is beautiful. Your mother and sister did a great job.”

The heels of my shoes click against the hardwood floor as I walk over to Stolas, who only moved away from the door to let in Verkor and Obsidian. I wrap my arms around Stolas’ waist, laying my head on his chest. I can hear the steady thump of his heartbeat against my ear. His arms encircle me, squeezing me tight.

“I didn’t expect your house to look like this,” my voice is murmured against his chest.

“What did you think it was going to look like?” Stolas asks. I try to shrug my shoulders but can’t because of Stolas hugging me to his body.

“I thought there would be a dog bed in the corner. Maybe a doggy door built into the front door.” Stolas pulls back, placing his hands on my shoulders, putting me at arm’s length. He stares at me with wide eyes. His mouth keeps opening and closing, like a fish. I try so hard to keep a straight face but can’t. I burst out laughing.

“Oh, you should see your face. It’s priceless.” My hand goes to my belly as I laugh harder. Obsidian and Verkor are chuckling in the background.

“Oh, is that how you want to play it?” I stop laughing when I see the devious smile cross Stolas’ lips. He pulls me close. I stumble a step not expecting the quick movement. I don’t fall, because I crash into his chest. One of his hands go to my waist, keeping me steady. His other hand fists my hair. He leans down, placing his mouth right next to my ear. “Don’t worry love. Remember payback is a bitch,” he whispers.

There’s a sharp sting to my left ass cheek. I jump. Stolas releases me, taking a step back. He winks before turning and taking the few steps to where he left his bag. He thinks he got one on me. I can’t have that. I cross my arms under my chest, lifting my breast. Stolas’ gaze isn’t the only ones who goes straight there. Men, I internally sigh. I cock a hip out and smile.

“Little do you know; I actually enjoy the occasional spanking. Isn’t that right, Obsidian?” I know his mind will go back to that BDSM club. I can’t wait to go again. Maybe I’ll ask about having our own playroom in our future house. I’m so lost in my own thoughts I didn’t see them move. All of my guys are surrounding me.

“Is that so, love?” Stolas questions. He runs his fingers down the side of my face. Tracing a path down the side of my neck and over the curve of the tops of my breast. He steps to the side and Obsidian takes his place.

“I remember, doll.” He leans down, pressing his cheek to mine. “I loved the way you moaned and screamed my name. I can’t wait to hear it again and again.” His tongue licks the rim of my ear. He nips at my earlobe and I gasp. He moves back taking a step to the side. Verkor takes his place.

“I know this is Stolas’ house, and I was fully prepared to let him have you here, but I’m going to be greedy and selfish.” Verkor starts circling around me. “It’s been too long since I’ve gotten to touch your delectable body.”

I hear rustling behind me, and when Verkor is back in front of me, he’s shirtless with his magnificent black wings on display. I groan, my hands twitch at the urge to run my fingers over them. Damn the man. All Verkor does is chuckle. He knows exactly what he’s doing.

He takes a step closer and then another. His wings spread out further as he takes one last step towards me. He wraps his wings around me, using them to push me into the final inch of space that separates us. Instinctively, I move my hands to his chest. I lick my lips, taking in every sculpted tan muscle. I slide my hands down his chest, using my thumbs to swipe over his nipples. I watch as they pebble under my touch. These men know what to do to my body, but I know how to work theirs too.

“Go on, Fin, touch them. You know you want to,” he whispers. He means his wings. He knows how I like them out when we fuck. I also know they’re an erogenous zone for him. He gets off on me touching them just as much as I do. “What are you waiting for?”

The last little bit of control I was using to not give in too fast, crumbles. I launch myself at him, but instead of wrapping my arms around Verkor, I immediately grab his wings, tugging on the feathers. He crashes his lips to mine, moaning. His arms encircle me. I feel his hands fist my shirt. I tug on his feathers again, snapping the last bit of his control. His hands leave my back and move to my thighs, lifting me. I wrap my legs around him, and I feel us moving. I move my lips trailing a path of kisses down his jaw and neck. A door shuts behind us, but I barely register it.

Verkor’s wings move and my back is landing on something soft. I look over and see it’s a bed. Perfect. I turn my attention back to Verkor. He pulls off my boots. They drop to the floor with a thud. He wastes no time gripping the sides of my pants and yanking them down my body. He tosses them over his shoulder. I sit up, grabbing the hem of my shirt, quickly tearing it from my body. I make quick work of my bra as well, leaving me only dressed in my pink lace underwear.

“You’re still a little overdressed.” My voice is huskier than normal. Faster than I can blink, Verkor is standing naked in front of me, with his black wings out. Man, I’m one lucky ass girl.

I scoot back on the bed, until I feel the headboard. I put my thumbs in the side of my panties. Lifting my hips, I pull them down my legs, flinging them to the side. I open my legs, giving Verkor a bird’s eye view of just how wet he makes me. Verkor crawls up the bed, tugging on my leg, until I lay flat on my back. He shifts so his face is at the apex of my thighs.

“I can’t wait to hear you scream my name,” he says right before burying his face in my pussy.

  Verkor

Finley’s back arches off the bed, as I devour her. She fists the blankets at her sides. I run my hand up her body, squeezing her breast. I suck on her clit at the same time that I pinch her nipples.

“Fuck,” she screams. I grin against her pussy. Her hand moves from the bed, to my hair. She starts to tug on the blonde strands. “Don’t. Stop.” Finley starts to buck her hips, pushing her cunt toward my face. I didn’t plan on stopping.

I brush my hands down her body, lifting her legs over my shoulders. I wrap my arms around her thighs, shifting slightly, my shoulders also serve to block her from trying to close her legs, effectively pinning her lower half to the bed.

“Please,” she begs, trying to move but can’t.

I don’t make her wait too long, because I desperately want to be inside her. To feel her warm, wet heat on my cock. I want to feel her hands in my feathers, tugging on them as she cums. The thought sends a shiver down my spine. I focus on my current task, because the sooner I make her cum on my tongue, the sooner I can be
inside her.

Using my tongue, I probe at her entrance. Swirling it around before driving it as far as I can inside her cunt. I moan at her taste. Nothing in any realm tastes as good as she does. I lick up her seam, nipping and sucking on her clit. She tugs harder on my hair, spurring me on. I lick, suck, and circle her clit harder. I could end this now and use my fingers, but I like the challenge of making her cum with only my tongue.

I increase my effort, solely focusing on her clit. It only takes her a few seconds before she cries out her release. I lap up all her sweet juices. Her legs shake as they slide off my shoulders and I smile. I’m going to make her legs feel like jello. I crawl up her body, settling between her creamy thighs. I rub my hard cock against her pussy, before surging forward. My eyes close at the sensation of her wrapped around me.

I thrust slow and deep, but I need more. I move to my knees, never leaving Finley’s body. I continue thrusting in her as I grab her ankles placing her legs over my shoulders. My fingers trace a path down her legs and over her hips. I grip her hips, lifting them slightly off of the bed. The angle has me sliding deeper into her silky heat. But it’s still not enough. I want her hands on my body and on my wings. I want her tugging on my feathers. I place my hands on the bed next to her, leaning down. Her legs slide from my shoulders in the crook of my elbows. I use this new position to thrust impossibly deeper inside her. I lick, suck, and nip a path of kisses up her neck, doing the same to her earlobe. She gasps in my ear.

“Verkor,” she whispers, and I shiver.

I love the sound of my name coming from her sweet lips. Pulling back slightly, I stare into her lust filled gaze. The desire dripping from them, for me, heats my blood. My pulse begins to race. My heart thumps wildly in my chest. I spread my wings out further, shaking them. Her eyes go straight to them. Her hands trace a path along the top of my wings and my muscles tighten from the sensation. It takes everything I have not to rut in her like a beast. She makes it hard as she starts to caress my feathers. I lose all sense of control when she pushes her fingers through them and pulls.
