“Fuck Yani.” I looked around the club just to make sure she wasn’t stalking a nigga from anywhere inside the club and we both fell out laughing. It was only a matter of time before my life returned to normal and she could carry her ass right back to Cuba.
I took a swig of my Brut Rose Ace of Spades bottle before taking a seat back on the couch. I felt on top of the world tonight knowing I killed my rival and my baby would back in my arms soon. I came out of jail with a different mindset; fuck a seat at someone else’s table! I was about to build my own empire.

“Yeah, suck that shit.” I had Tasha down on her knees in her condo deep throating my dick. “Make that shit nasty.” I gripped her blonde weave forcing her to look at me in my eyes. My dick grew harder as she let the spit ooze out from the corners of her mouth.
“Mmmmmm,” Kassidy moaned from the bed while rubbing her clit with a finger vibrator. Just watching her sexy ass play with her pink pussy made me want to be inside her. I had been fucking Kassidy off and on for the last three years. One night at the Blue Flame lounge she was drunk as fuck, so I made Blue take my car and I drove her home. Once I got her inside she stripped naked in front of me. Brooklyn always talked about Kassidy being naked every time she went over to her house and how she hated wearing clothes, so I tried to brush it off until she started grabbing on a nigga dick.
“Fuck.” I pulled my dick out of Tasha’s drooling mouth and walked over to the bed between Kassidy’s legs. I slapped her hand away from her clit and rammed my dick inside her. She bit down on her bottom lip clawing at my chest. Tasha climbed onto the bed and started tongue kissing Kassidy before sucking on her perky, chocolate titties. I watch as my dick disappears inside of Kassidy’s walls trying not to bust.
“Ohhhhhh right thereeeeee,” Kassidy moaned thrusting her hips into mines. I could’ve sworn I saw her eyes rolling to the top of her head.
“Who got that dope dick?” I sped up my strokes, throwing her legs over the crook of my arms.
“Youuuuuu. Y-you got that dope dick,” She closed her eyes, making fuck faces licking her thick juicy lips.
Tasha was now on her back warming her pussy up with one hand and pinching her nipples with the other; Tasha was a stone-cold freak. I’m talking take the dick anywhere, pussy, ass and she loved to eat pussy. I pulled my wet dick out of Kassidy’s leaking pussy and scooted over, positioning myself between Tasha’s legs and tapping my dick on top of her clit.
“Fuck,” she moaned, opening her legs wider and pulling on the head of my dick. Kass stood up over Tasha and squatted down on her face, bouncing up and down before she placed her wet pussy on top of Tasha’s mouth. Tasha wrapped her arms around Kassidy’s thighs and lapped up her juices. I was ready to nut and watch them fuck each other into a coma.
The ecstasy pills I gave them would have them going strong all night. I slid my dick inside Tasha’s snug pussy before lifting her legs straight up in the air with one of my hands giving her long deep strokes. I licked my finger before sticking it in Kassidy’s ass while she rode the fuck out of Tasha’s face. All that could be heard was skin smacking and Kassidy’s lite moans in the air.
“Ughhhhhh…” I grunted before I pulled out and stood up on the bed walking to the head of the bed and placing my dick in Kassidy’s mouth. Tasha continued to suck on her clit while I shot my seeds down Kassidy’s throat.
“Mmmmmm,” she looked up at me with a sexy grin on her face. “You taste good.”
I slapped her ass and laid down on the other side of the bed. “Y’all make each other cum.” Grabbing a rolled blunt off the nightstand, I lit it watching them until they were squirting everywhere.
“Gator get up.” Kassidy shoved me. “Khadi lived.” She stood standing over me with her cell phone in her hand showing me the text message from Brooklyn. I snatched the phone out of her hand reading the message over again even wiping the crust out my eyes in case there was a typo.
“Fuckkkkkkk!” I hollered jumping up. How the fuck this nigga live? I grabbed my cell phone from my pants pocket skipping over the thousand missed calls and messages from Yani. “Justice,” I barked in the phone as soon as he picked up. “The nigga lived.” I huffed into the phone. I was beyond pissed! I thought by using Pedro everything would be done with one trip. Pedro was one of Yani’s men with sniping skills. I used him to get the shot off on Khadi since the wedding was secured like Barack and Michelle Obama was getting married.
“The fuck? This nigga got nine lives or some shit?” Justice laughed into the phone.
“Fuck all that, round everybody up and meet me at the trap on 156th and get in touch with Khaza’s bitch ass before he nut the fuck up and rat us out.” I spat in the phone, before hanging up and getting dressed to leave. The fact that we failed at knocking him off concerned me and Khaza could turn on me any minute creating a bigger war than I could imagine.
Chapter 4
Roselina
Beep! Beep! Beep!
Were the only sounds that could be heard throughout the room as I waited for my son to wake up from the medicine that the doctors had given him. What happened to Khadi would be any mother’s worst nightmare; now granted, I’m not too fond of miss Brooklyn but again it was still my son’s wedding day. I also needed him to know that Khaza would never orchestrate a bullet entering his body. Although the doctors said he would be fine, I was afraid this tragic event will awaken the beast within Khadi and I needed to get my hands on Khaza first and find out what the fuck really happened.
I stared over at Brooklyn curled up in the chair in the far corner of the room. I constantly suggested that she go home to take a hot shower and change her clothes, but she refuses to leave Khadi’s side. I needed him alone and woke, so I could talk some sense into him before she gets in his ear that Khaza could be the possible culprit…hmph…she ain’t fooling nobody, game recognize game. I quietly slipped out of the room,
“Zeus.” I called out to my head of security who stood guard near the elevator that led to Khadi’s private hospital suite. I glanced around making sure no one was in ear shot, “See what you can find out on this Brooklyn chick. Something is telling me she knows more than she’s letting on. If that wench even has so much as a traffic violation I want to know about it.” I whispered in his ear right before pulling him closer and licking his earlobe.
Zeus was so much more than my security; besides laying down any threat aimed at my family, he laid down the pipe in ways no man had ever done. Back in the day, niggas didn’t believe in going down on a woman, so imagine never getting head from your own husband. Zeus was the only other man I’ve been with since my husband died and let me tell you, this man had a tongue that I had to nickname “Twister” because Lord knows my mind would be all twisted every time he was done with me. He was handsome too with big broad shoulders, stocky but muscular and that shiny bald head and salt n pepper beard just did it for me. At forty-seven, he had no problem pleasing this woman five years his senior. I hadn’t told the boys about us yet, although I’m sure Khaza figured it out by now.
“Gotcha baby,” he smirked before walking away and pulling out his cell to make a few phone calls.
I peeked into the window of the suite, finding Brooklyn awake standing over the hospital bed, rubbing Khadi’s arm. I needed to come up with a plan and quick! Hell, I really wanted him back home in Haiti with me, so he could concentrate on his recovery and most importantly, have a sit down with Khaza. I opened the door startling her.
“So, I’ve been thinking,” I cleared my throat before I gut punched her ass. “I’ll take Khadi back to Haiti where he can receive the best treatment for his recovery. I’d hate for him to stay and even worst, actually get killed.” I grabbed the clipboard from the edge of the hospital bed pretending to look through the paperwork.
“Thanks, Roselina, but no thanks. I already spoke with our personal doctor and Khadi will recover here at home with us.” She placed her hand on her small stomach, never turning around to acknowle
dge me.
“Oh, nonsense, you are too early on to be dealing with stress, plus there is nothing like a mother’s love. I’m sure a little nourishment from his mother won’t hurt.” I walked toward the head of the bed to press the call button.
She reached over Khadi’s head placing her hand over the button preventing me from pressing it, “I don’t think you heard me, Roselina. Khadi will stay here in Miami with me. “Someone,” she threw her fingers up in quotation, “tried to kill my husband on our wedding day, so I’m sorry, he won’t be going nowhere near out of my sight.”
I leaned back holding on to the bed railing trying to calm myself down before I slap fire from this heffa. “Well then I will stay here in Miami until everything is ok.” I said with finality tone
“That won’t be necessary mamon.” Khadi’s raspy voice spoke up and his eyes slowly opened, shocking the hell out of both of us.
“Oh baby,” Brooklyn let go of the call button, damn near jumping in the bed with him kissing all over his face. He winced in pain but gladly welcomed her kisses.
If he wasn’t for his vitals on the monitor, I would’ve thought he couldn’t breathe the way she was smothering him. She paused for a second and they just stared into each other’s eyes and then they both broke out into a smile. I felt sick to my stomach; maybe Khaza was right, I was losing my son to this little bitch and I didn’t like it one bit. I’ve never seen him look at anyone this way, not even Toi! Granted, she was now his wife and he must honor her, but I was used to having control over my boys.
“I’ll go get everyone.” Brooklyn finally came up for air, looking a complete mess, still wearing her dried-up, bloody wedding gown.
As soon as the door closed, I turned around staring down at Khadi. “Send her home immediately for a hot shower, we have a few things to discuss.” I nonchalantly told him.
“No, we don’t, what you need to do is find Khaza and fly his ass back to Haiti with you immediately because once I make it home, ma and my team hits the ground, if he’s walking…” he paused trying his best to sit up, obviously in pain. I tried to grab his free arm to help him, but he raised his hand halting me. “If he’s walking the streets of my city, I will hurt him exactly how he hurt me. An eye for an eye, right ma? Ain’t that your favorite quote?” he questioned, looking up at me with pain in his eyes.
“An eye for an eye for your enemy, Khadi, not you’re your little brother, dammit.” I adjusted my purse on my shoulder holding on to the strap trying to control my anger. “I knew that bitch dropped a bug in your hear.” I huffed.
“Yeah, well tell that shit to Khaza and watch ya mouth when referring to my wife,” he shot back unfazed, before unhooking himself from the machines causing them to beep loudly alerting the medical staff; they came rushing inside with Brooklyn right on their heels. They fell back once they noticed what he was doing.
“Oh my god, baby what are you doing?” She tried to get him to lay back down. “Don’t scare us like that!” she placed her hand over her chest, showcasing her ten-carat diamond ring. “He’s okay you guys.” She exhaled.
“No, he’s not!” I spat, locking eyes with him before I exited the hospital room to hunt down my baby boy before Khadi did.
Chapter 5
Khadi
The minute I opened my eyes in that hospital room the only thing on my mind was murder. Just the thought of if Brooklyn had been hit with a bullet while carrying my seed was enough for me to ride the city thirty days and thirty nights until I found who was responsible. We knew that Khaza didn’t physically pull the trigger which means someone else was working behind the scenes. I made a lot of enemies while building my empire, so he could’ve been working with anybody. I tried to narrow the list down while Biggs pushed the Maybach through the city with Brooklyn and me in the back seat. I closed my eyes resting my head against the headrest while we made our way back to the estate. Brooklyn was snuggled under me holding onto to my arm tight like a nigga would disappear any minute now. A million thoughts crossed my mind but the one thought I couldn’t shake was Toi. I hadn’t thought about or spoken about her since Brooklyn came into my life, maybe I was reading too much into it, but I had a funny feeling that something wasn’t right.
I thought back to the day when I received the phone call that Toi had being kidnapped and held for ransom,
“Babyyyyyy,” Toi cried into the phone. “D-Don’t give them shit…th-they will kill me anyway. Argggghhhh,” I heard her holler out in pain from the blow her assailant delivered to her.
“I will fucking pick your family off one by one you touch her again.” I barked into the phone although I was powerless at the moment. I had one of my tech savvy workers trying to trace the call.
“Khadiiiiiiiiiii I love you!” I heard Toi screaming in the background before the line went dead.
“Babe...” My eyes popped open from Brooklyn breaking me out of my thoughts of Toi. “I have something to tell you.” She hesitantly looked me in my eyes with worry written all over her face.
“What is it?” I asked, getting frustrated that every time I looked into Brooklyn’s face visions of Toi kept popping up.
“Boss…. phone.” Biggs interrupted, dropping the partition, handing me the phone from the front seat of the car while pulling into our garage.
“Speak,” I barked into the phone.
“Boss, we on the way back and got some shit you definitely wanna see.” Marcus’s voice sounded eager over the phone.
“Good…Good. I’ll see y’all then.” I ended the call, helping Brooklyn get out of the car while Biggs held the door open. I was so amped up to see what news these niggas had for me, I forgot Brooklyn had something to tell me. I pulled her into me with my free arm and waited for Biggs to dismiss himself. “What you wanted to tell me baby?” I asked, placing my face in the crook of her neck.
She pulled back from me looking into my eyes. “I wanted to tell you that I love you and I don’t want you to do anything stupid out there and risk you not coming home to us.” I stared down at my wife and immediately knew she was lying. Not lying about me risking my life and not coming home to her but I knew that wasn’t what she wanted to tell me. I kissed her soft sweet lips, silently acknowledging her request and watched her head upstairs to our master suite. Today was a long ass day and depending on the news Marcus and Terrance was coming back with, it might be even longer.
*****
“When did the nigga get released?” I asked Biggs after he told me that one of our good friends gave him the info that Gator had been released from prison not too long ago.
“Apparently about a week ago.” He answered looking at something in his phone.
A nigga kept the beast within me hidden because the shit that I was capable of was unheard of, but after hearing that Marcus and Terrance was on the way to the estate with some important information and that Gator was out, had my trigger finger itching. I had enough niggas on my payroll to take over a small city, but this retaliation was personal one close to the vest.
“Where the fuck are these niggas, man?” I jumped up from the table in my basement, checking the cameras.
“Don’t get yourself so worked up boss,” Biggs tried to calm me down.
I left from the hospital against the doctor’s orders and had Dr. Chung and his staff set up at my home for my recovery. I didn’t have time to be sitting up in a hospital, I had to show these weak ass niggas this shit wasn’t a game. I was ready to put my murder game down.
“There they go right there.” Zilla pointed out on the security monitor, laying the pool stick on the table ending his game with Peanut quick. Everyone took their seats around the table waiting for the news to be delivered.
“What’s good?” I dapped them both up before taking my seat back at the head of the table. “I hope you niggas coming to tell me some good news.” I asked staring into both of their faces as they stood side by side. They both looked at each other before sliding a phone across the table in my direction. I picked up
the phone and pressed the play button in the middle of the screen.
“The fuck is this?” I snapped, staring down at what clearly look like my little brother sitting on a car talking to Gator. I couldn’t hide my anger as I slammed the phone done on the table damn near breaking it in half. “This fuck boy down in the A with the enemy?” I scowled, damn near foaming at the mouth. “Why you motherfuckers didn’t grab him?” I asked pissed off sliding the phone across the table so Biggs and Zilla could see this shit with their own eyes.
Biggs face was screwed up watching the video in disbelief that Khaza would stoop so low. Khaza was like a little brother to him, so I know the shit pained him as much as it pained me. I let it sink in on everyone that the task at hand would be not only to kill Gator but one of our own. I disowned Khaza but he was still blood but the decision he made would cost him to meet his maker.
I cleared my throat before I spoke, “So we’ve all seen what the move is, everybody go home and kiss your kids, fuck your woman, spend time with your family and tell them you love them because when we leave, we’re not promised to return. I stood up leaving everyone in the room to ponder on what I just said.
“Boss,” Biggs called out following me up the stairs.
I turned around because at this point I didn’t have any words for anyone.
“We really gon’ snuff Khaza?” he asked as if everything I just said downstairs was a fucking joke.
“Fucking right.” I frowned. “It’s a dirty game, Biggs. Even the ones you’d think would never do you like that will do you like that.” I turned back around with no remorse heading upstairs to have a word with Brooklyn.
*****
I opened the double doors to our master suite, Brooklyn was laying on her back across the bed holding her iPad in the air on Facetime with Kassidy.
“Hang that shit up.” I barked, slamming the doors behind me, scaring the shit out of her causing her to almost drop the iPad down in her face. She looked up at me like I had lost my mind but once she saw my icy demeanor, she quickly hung up.
