Each forward thrust inside him seemed to make it last longer, and just as Jason started to worry that this orgasm would last as long as the fucking did, he gasped. The ending came to him, and he collapsed as his arms gave out. He fell onto his face, ass in the air, but even though the positioning was embarrassing as all hell, he was all right with it because at least it was something cool to press his face against.

And he was still getting the aftershocks of pleasure that came with being fucked into.

He was able to enjoy himself again.

The male behind him growled. Jason tensed at that noise, which sounded a little too wolf-like, but it was still a man back there. He double checked that, relieved to see it, and then noted the way the other man tensed and gasped before he fell over Jason's back.

He was like an overly large blanket, and that was all right, too.

Jason puffed for breath, his body soon feeling the aches and pains that came with sex, but these were new aches and new pains he wasn't used to.

Jesus, was this really what it was like to be fucked? He hurt, but he also felt good. He felt so good that he wanted to do it again.

Seriously? Already? He'd struggled enough to get the first orgasm, and now his body was starting to feel that same warming sensation from before that he’d wanted so badly.

The man behind him made a sound that could only be described as a purr.

His mouth trailed kisses all along Jason's back, his neck, and even between his shoulder blades.

  "You are beautiful."

"Yeah?" Jason wasn't sure why he cared what a complete stranger thought of his looks, but it warmed him to hear that.

  "Everything aches."

The man chuckled. "That will go in time. You will need more of this before you can stand to be without me for long."

He thrust his cock once more, reminding Jason that it was still inside him.

Jason clenched his teeth, and everything else, as a new spike of pleasure hit him.

"Jesus Christ, is this supposed to be normal?"

"For my mate? Yes, though I don't know how much more time we have." He pressed his mouth to Jason's jaw, the scratch of that beard pleasant against Jason's skin.

Jason shivered. He did want more. That was the crazy thing. He wanted so much more that he could hardly stand it.

  "Is this mating thing real?"

"Yes," the voice purred. "As real as you and I are."

Jason was still trying to figure out whether or not he was being fucked by an illusion, but then, as the man's hips began to move again, he figured it didn't matter.

This could be a dream for all he cared.

Jason didn't want it to end, and soon, he was thrusting his ass back against the other man as though he was a seasoned professional at this.

As though they'd already done this time and time again.

"My name," whispered the other man hotly into Jason's ear, "is Alistair."

He slammed his hips forward again. Jason cried out. He didn't have the chance to adjust, but as his pleasure grew again, as he felt himself being pushed back up that hill, Jason was still able to realize how nice of a name that was.

  Nice and not so common.

Where the hell was this guy from?

  * * * *

Jason was in there for what felt like hours. When the shifter, when Alistair, was done with him, he felt as though every inch of his body had been used up.

By the end, Alistair had Jason on his knees in more ways than one, and Jason got to learn what it tasted like to have another man's dick in his mouth.

It tasted like skin and a little salty where precum formed.

At first he didn't think it was all that pleasant, but as Alistair moaned for him, a sense of power came over him. He was the one making this huge, muscular guy moan like this, to come undone like this.

And with each moan, with each thrust against Jason's tongue, his prick responded in kind.

Jason never in a million years thought he would be able to get off from sucking on another guy's dick, but then it happened, and he was finally given some peace.

Jason was able to catch his breath on the floor, staring up at the ceiling, trying to get his heart to calm down.

Alistair settled himself next to Jason, pulling him close.

Even in this human shape, he had bright, glowing gold eyes.

They looked softly at Jason. He used to watch the old Hammer Dracula and Mummy movies. There was always a shot of the eyes in creepy lighting.

  This was nothing like that.

These were the eyes of someone Jason could get real close with. He could sink into those eyes.

"Fuck, why did you have to be a guy?"

Alistair regarded him. "Does this trouble you?"

"A little." But even as he said it, Jason allowed himself to be snuggled, to get closer to his chest.

Not at all soft like the chest of a woman. This guy didn't look or feel like he had an inch of body fat anywhere on his body.

It was strange how pleasing that was to him. He wouldn't have thought it pleasing at one point. Nice to look at, he supposed. The look of a guy who definitely kept himself in shape and, before, that wouldn't have affected Jason so much.

He might have seen it on a male model, taken note of it, and moved on.

But now there was something different. Maybe it wasn't for other men. Maybe it was just for this man specifically because Jason suddenly couldn't stop his hand from reaching out and touching Alistair's chest. He wanted to feel every curve and dip of his muscles.

He still wanted to slide his tongue over them, too.

On other men, he would have been all “whatever,” but in this man…Jason wanted him. He wanted to touch. He wanted to stroke. He wanted to have the man's large cock inside him again if he could get more pleasure like what he'd had before.

"Do you work out or something?"

Alistair seemed to think about it. "I suppose I do get my proper exercise, but I do not think I am thinking of what you are thinking of."

"You talk like you're from another world. Where are you from?"

"I was born in Scotland, though I spent much of my time abroad. I believe I did. My memory is…hazy. I know of some things. I know the little devices those people speak into are called radios."

The way he said it, it was as though it were a foreign word on his tongue.

Jason didn't understand. "Do you remember anything about your life?"

Again, Alistair seemed to think about it. "I think I'm older than most. I can remember hunting some of my own kind."

"Wait, you're a hunter?" Now Jason was interested. He looked up at the other man, and he could hardly believe what he’d just heard. "You're a hunter? I thought you were angry because you thought the people here were hunters?"

"They are, and do not mistake me. I can recall putting down wolves that had no control, who still shifted under the light of the full moon and would attack their own brothers, wives, mothers, and children without reservation. They needed to be put down for their own good. Some of them would ask me to put them down before their minds were stolen from them for good. It was a mercy I gave. Your hunters attack wolves and bears and foxes who do not ask for their help. They chase down innocents and end their lives. Even sleeping inside of my wolf, I knew what they were doing.”

“So you really weren’t there this whole time?” Jason let that new information sink in. “So how do you know you can trust the memories you have? The way you describe it sounds as though you were sleeping that whole time and you’re just relying on what your wolf side is telling you.”

“I let the wolf have control for a reason. It’s not a monster.”

“Why let it have control at all? That sounds like a risk. It sounds almost like you were trying to…”

Jason trailed off. He looked up at the other man, who stared down at him, waiting for Jason to finish that sentence.

  “What does it sound like?”

  Jason didn’t know
if he should answer, but part of him thought it would be a mistake to not do so when they were…what? Bonding?

“It sounds like something someone would do if they wanted to die. I mean you went to sleep for a long time. People who are depressed or sad sometimes want to sleep a lot to get away from their problems, right?”

Alistair’s arms felt as though they were tightening around him.

“I did want to die. I wanted it very much, but I was a coward, and I did not want to take the wolf with me. It was not his choice, and I did not want to punish him for something that was not his doing.”

“You say that like you and the wolf are two different beings.”

“Of course we are. All shifters are.”

Jason didn’t know about that. Every interview he’d ever seen on TV suggested otherwise. The animals were described as being more instinctual, that they were one and the same with varying degrees of control.

Others did seem to think the animal and man were separate beings.

Jason’s dad had always said it was all bullshit. That the shifters didn’t know what they were, what was wrong with them, and they were making it all up as they went along.

That was basically how Jason saw it, but Alistair spoke with such certainty.

Maybe for him…the wolf really was different. Separate from him even though they shared the same body.

“Do you know anything about your family? Why you wanted to…die?”

Alistair sighed. He clearly didn’t want to be talking about this. “I only know that something terrible happened to many people I loved dearly. I can’t even see them in my mind. There was someone important. A lover? Or a relative? I cannot even be sure of this. I think something happened to them, but that’s in the past now.”

Alistair touched Jason’s cheek. That heated sensation rushed through his body again. Jason found himself leaning into that touch. He wanted so badly to let himself be swept away by that touch. He wanted to have Alistair wrap his arms around his body and never let him go.

He wanted to comfort the other man, to help him forget about all of his problems.

  “Now I have you.”

Jason was more than all right with that.

“Very sweet, but, Jason, your time is long since up. You may come with us, now.”

  Chapter Seven

Alistair immediately growled, the warmth of his body becoming cold and tense. Jason looked over and wasn't surprised to see Mr. Forg over there.

It was his voice, after all, but Jason was angry with him, and now, seeing him there, it was a reminder that Jason was still naked, he was still trapped in this cage, and his sister…

Holy shit, his sister was with Mrs. Walker, and he needed to get Lisa away from her.

Jason immediately reached for his clothes, shoving his legs into his pants, irritated with knowing Mr. Forg had seen his dick.

  "Let me out of here."

"We will. Step away from the shifter and you will be released and paid promptly."

  Jason blinked. "What?"

Mr. Forg smiled kindly. "Did you expect a fight?"

  "Uh, kind of."

"Don't go with him." Alistair grabbed Jason by his wrist, yanking Jason behind him, as though Jason needed the protection. "There's treachery in his eyes."

"Alistair, I need to get out of here and get back to my sister."

He tried to step around the other man, slowly, but Alistair got in his way. The taller man didn't stop glaring at Mr. Forg.

"What lies are you deceiving my mate with?"

"Oh fuck." Jason wanted to cover his face with his hands to hide the rushing heat.

This was too much. He didn't know what to do about any of this, but he knew he needed to get out of this.

"It's not a lie," Mr. Forg said. "My friend, you've been trapped in that…impressive form for quite some time. We thought the use of a wolf soul would free you, and it has. He agreed to everything, and now we will let him go."

Mr. Forg narrowed his eyes. "If you will let him go."

Alistair slowly turned his head, looking back at Jason over his shoulder with a look that made Jason's blood run cold.

  "I…I'm not…it wasn't like that."

Then he glared at Mr. Forg. "You were the one who threw me in here, you fucking asshole! He could have eaten me!"

"From what we saw on the cameras, you didn't have much to worry about."

He was going to melt. He was going to melt into a puddle on the floor and hopefully vanish from the face of the Earth because, holy shit, that was embarrassing.

Jason had heavily suspected there were cameras watching, but he'd stopped caring when he got swept up in the pleasure of the sex.

Now he cared. He definitely cared, and he didn't want to be seen by anyone. He wanted out of here.

Alistair looked away from him, turning his attention back to Mr. Forg, but Jason still felt as though he were being watched and scrutinized.

The security guards were there. He noticed them now. And the men in white coats.

How many of them were shifters? How many of them had seen what Jason had done with Alistair?

And how many of them were thinking of doing the same thing to Jason now that they knew what he could do?

  "Do not fear."

Jason jumped and then realized Alistair was talking to him, but the other man wasn't looking at him.

He stared ahead at the others.

"I won't let them touch you."

Mr. Forg sighed. "Jason, we are now certain of your control over the shifter. He's not entirely stable yet. While he's…safely subdued, we would like to take you out of there. Your other check is waiting, your phone, as is a car that will take you home to your sister."

The reminder of Lisa gutted him.

He had responsibilities. What the hell was he doing in here?

Alistair shook his head, long hair wild around his shoulders. "These men have already deceived you and have no intention of letting you roam free. They will use your blood and your body for their own purposes. Don't you see that?"

Mr. Forg looked at him. "We have been…less than ideal in getting this far, but there was no other way. No choice if we were to save him. We've already paid you the first amount of money we agreed upon. Why would we do that if we were going to harm you? You have been my friend, Jason. I trusted you with this."

  Jason pressed his lips together.

"He'll give you to his men. He will deceive you again," Alistair said, growling, claws started to form, his knuckles becoming thick, dark, and gnarled.

Like he was losing control again.

"Jason, you need to come out of there. Your control over the shifter is weakening. Please, for your sister, if for no one else."

Mr. Forg looked genuinely worried, but that wasn't why Jason stepped around Alistair and went to the door.

Alistair looked at him, eyes wide, as though he couldn't believe what he was seeing.

"I'm sorry. I have family I need to take care of."

Alistair said nothing. That seemed so much worse than if he'd thrown it into Jason's face that he was only doing this for the money.

  God. He was so pathetic.

"Make sure the shifter doesn't try to follow him out."

The guards stepped forward, pushing their long metal rods through the bars.

The electricity must have been shut off. Otherwise, they would have been shocked, right?

It was good to know when the cage door was open.

Jason still smelled burning hair, and his fingers still tingled from when he'd been shocked.

The guy on the other side opened it only a crack, as though to get Jason to slip through.

He supposed that so long as the door wasn't busted wide open, then it was safer for them to handle Alistair.

So Jason nodded to the other man and stepped forward.

Then he poked the guy in the eyes with two fingers and pulled the door wide open.

  "Alistair, hurry!"

  Someone g
rabbed him from behind. Alistair roared. Bright lights flashed as the other guards stuck Alistair with the rods, shocking him, but Jason wouldn't let go of the door, even when the man who grabbed him tried desperately to remove his fingers.

The punch to the stomach was what did it. All the air flew from Jason's lungs. He gasped hard, sinking to the ground, trying to breathe, but he couldn't seem to do it.

"Close the door! Close the door!"

He still managed to keep something of a grip on the door, yelping when it slammed on his fingers, forcing him to pull back, but then, before it could be locked shut, the door burst open.

Jason flew back, feeling like he'd been punched all over again when the door struck his body, but then it didn't matter because Alistair was free.

Jason lifted his head, looking at the man who was no longer a man.

He looked more like a wolf on two upright legs. His face was all wolf, but the rest of him appeared to be something in between. He had a tail, his chest had fur, but the body looked mostly human with that six pack Jason could see through the fur.

He looked like an illustration Jason had seen before on one of those old horror films.

He looked amazing, powerful, and fucking scary.

The wolf-man clenched his fists and roared at the guards around him.

  Mr. Forg ran away.

Jason saw the way the other guards went for Alistair, their own claws and teeth coming out as they prepared to fight him.

They didn't seem to notice Jason, probably because they had better things to be worrying about in that exact minute.

That was fine. As they either straight up attacked Alistair or tried to stab him with their metal shock rods, Jason went to the foldout chair that was still in the basement.

He had to take out the people with the rods.

If he could get his hands on one of those, it would make for a good weapon.

He took the chair and ran at one of the guards with it, smashing it over the guy's back.

The wood splintered. The metal legs fell right out of Jason's hands as the rest of the thing fell apart on him, and the guy holding his weapon spun around on Jason, eyes blazing bright red and fangs showing.
