He rocked with her, slow, hard, so hard and hot, like a wicked brand wrapped in velvet. She was so full, so achingly full, and it was better than anything she could have imagined. When Blaze changed the rhythm, thrusting harder, faster, so that the noise of their sex filled up the room and his balls slapped against her ass, she lost it.

She threw back her head and screamed as the climax took over. It was harder than the first, so intense that it was painful. She lost herself in the rough, deep thrust. In Blaze’s hard body above her, all that granite straining and groaning. He fucked her hard, his thrusts long and brutal, until his arms were trembling like a cage at either side of her face and his chest was heaving. Still, he thrust into her, his cock so hard that she could feel it throbbing as it hit all the undiscovered parts of her that she herself had never even touched or explored.

It was the hottest thing she’d ever known. The best thing. It was more amazing than she’d ever known it would be.

Blaze changed the rhythm suddenly, pulling out and filling her with luxurious strokes that made her want to black out from the pleasure. This time, when she came, the warmth of the climax washed over her. It was sharp and nearly violent like before, but hotter, sweeter, enveloping her entire body until she felt wrung out and mushy, like her body had liquefied and there was nothing of her left.

“I’m going to come now,” Blaze said, from somewhere deep in the fog.

She thought about him coming inside of her and nearly panicked. The pill wasn’t foolproof. She was about to open her mouth, but he read her mind before she could even draw a breath. He pulled out and came hard, in long, ropy strands, all over her stomach and her thighs. He shook and vibrated and groaned low in his throat, and it was such a thrill, realizing that she’d given him that pleasure, that it nearly sent her tumbling and flying all over again.

She’d thought her climaxes were good, but watching Blaze, his arms straining, his muscles bulging and the thread veins standing out against his golden skin, his hand pumping his cock in slow, rhythmic motions while it throbbed in his hand… it was just about the best thing she’d ever experienced in her life.

He’d once told her that he’d ruin her. Break her. Wreck her. Something like that. She couldn’t exactly remember what he’d said, but she knew it was true. But not in the way he meant. She wasn’t going to let him do that. He’d come back for her and she’d waited and that was it. They were sticking it out together from here on out. They might have wrecked each other, but it was the good kind of wrecking. The sweetest kind. The kind of shattering that needs to happen to be put back together the way they were always supposed to be.

Blaze grinned down at her, and as usual, his smile was like the sun. So damn bright it was entirely blinding. When her eyes met his, she was astounded at the softness in their depths. They were warm and honeyed and he was looking at her the way he’d looked at her all day.

Like she was the treasure he’d been searching for his entire life.

“Shower?” he asked, one brow arched comically. “You look a little dirty, Office Baby.

“You filthy bastard,” she ground out, but she accepted his hand. She let him tug her into his arms and she let him carry her into a massive bathroom with a glass shower and a huge jet tub. “No shower curtain to pull down,” she said dryly. “I still don’t think that was an accident, by the way.”

Blaze threw back his head and laughed and it was the sweetest sound she’d heard in a very long time.

  EPILOGUE

  Blaze

“Breakfast in bed, for the love of my life.”

Colette stirred sleepily as Blaze set the tray down in front of her. She blinked up at him as she pushed the covers away, exposing a peach satin nightgown that he was sure as hell going to rip off of her as soon as she’d eaten the omelet he’d made her.

She glanced at him and then her eyes tracked down to the plate. He’d even remembered to add salsa, sour cream, and a few olives on the side.

“Three cheese blend, just the way you like it. With peppers, mushrooms, and jalapenos.” She blinked like she couldn’t believe that he’d actually remembered. “Come on. After two years of marriage, you don’t think I can make your omelet right?”

The look she gave him made him want to laugh, but he held it back. “Did you remember pepper and salt?”

  “Sure did.”

“Did you fry the peppers first, and the mushrooms, so that they’re not all hard inside?”

“I’ll give you something hard inside.”

Colette pushed back the covers and set a hand on the barely there swell of her stomach. “I think you managed that already.” She picked up her fork and took a bite of the omelet. She closed her eyes and chewed. “Wow,” she said after she’d swallowed. “I must say, I’m impressed.”

“Yeah. I could have woken you up and set you on the counter and had you for breakfast, but I let you get that half an hour of extra sleep in. Look what a good, selfless husband I am.”

“Right.” She rolled her eyes and took another bite. “Well, you are good in bed. I’ll give you that. And fairly selfless out of it too.”

“So, I get a passing grade?”

“I guess you do.” She swallowed down another bite.

“Good. Because once you finish that, I’m going to take you to the shower and show you just how generous I’m feeling this morning.”

“Oh really?” Her cheeks flushed despite the fact that she feigned boredom. “I can’t imagine what you have planned? Maybe a good back rub?”

  “We can start with that.”

“If I let you take me into the shower, you’ll agree to have dinner with my parents tomorrow night? To tell them our news?”

He couldn’t even pretend that he didn’t want to go. He was probably the one person in the world who lucked out and got good in-laws. He loved them, and they loved him. His mother-in-law always had a kind word for him. She sent home doggy bags of food, freshly baked cookies and treats whenever Colette went over there, which was a few times a week at least, even if he was busy with work or couldn’t make it.

His father-in-law more than made up for his early years. They did father-son things together. Going to the range to shoot guns once in a while, having a beer now and then, kicking back to watch sports… Jim even managed to convince him to take up golf.

It didn’t matter one bit to Colette’s parents that their daughter had married a billionaire. They never saw him as a paycheck or a retirement fund. To them, he was just Blaze, the man who loved the heck out of their daughter and a part of their family that they welcomed with open arms.

He couldn’t wait until he and Colette finally reveal the home in Mexico that they’d purchased together. Just for Sharlene and Jim. Just to use whenever they wanted to get away. It was his idea and Colette had been so excited, she’d actually cried. Then he’d informed her that he’d purchased the other new construction right down the street.

He’d got the full-on water works for that.

Colette was a rock star at her job and Blaze knew that she wasn’t planning on giving it up. He supported her in that one hundred percent. He loved that she was happy. That it gave her purpose and that it let her use the incredible talent she’d been gifted with and spent so much time learning and honing.

They were basically two computer geeks, when it came down to it, and he absolutely loved it.

  He absolutely loved her.

“They’re going to be thrilled,” he said, when Colette looked at him funny. He hadn’t meant to drift off. “Their first grandkid.”

“They’ll be even more excited to find out you’re going to be staying home with her after I go back to work.”

“Her? Her? What makes you think it’s a girl?”

“Oh, I just have a feeling.” Colette gave him one of those rare, private, sweet smiles, her whole heart glowing in her eyes and lighting up her entire face.

“I’m going to be doing more than just staying home with her if it’s a girl. Y
ou’re going to have to give her an entire house full of brothers so that I’m not alone in having to kick ass when she gets older and starts bringing boys to the house.”

“Hmm? A house full of brothers?” Colette smirked at him. “I bet you’d like to try and make that happen.”

“Honey, we both know that I enjoy trying, even after it’s already happened.”

She laughed and he joined her. “Seriously though. Brothers.”

“Okay, well let’s just get through this one first. Then we’ll talk brothers.”

  “How soon? Like, immediately?”

“You’re lucky I love you,” she muttered under her breath. “Because you’re impossible and insane.”

“I know. I know, and I am damn lucky that you love me.” Blaze reached out and smoothed Colette’s hair. It was mussed from sleep and with sheet creases still on her cheek, she’d never looked more adorable. “I know that, every single minute of every single day.”

“And I’m lucky that you were a terrible boss and decided to scheme to sleep with his employee.”

“You were lucky, I guess, now that you mention it.”

She punched him in the arm, and he pulled her close, kissing her breathless. After, when he let her come up for a breath, he peppered her jaw, her nose, her forehead with kisses and scooped her up in his arms, ready to make good on that shower.

If there was a better way to start the day, he couldn’t think of it. If there was any better life out there, he knew he’d never find it. He already had the best of the best of the best. Colette had given him everything. She’d given him her entire heart. She’d waited for him. She’d given him that not so subtle kick in the ass he desperately needed.

She kept right on kicking his ass every single time he needed it.

And she kept right on loving him.

And he, he kept right on loving her back.
