Immoral Retribution (The Dragons of Death MC Series Book 2)

The man shook his head, just then realizing who True was. He knew by the deadly expression True had on his face, he had made a fatal mistake taking them on.
“I want you to have a Dragon’s death.” True took a lighter and proceeded to light the clothes the man had on fire. There was a large dog cage in the corner of the room. Shoving him in it, Pup locked it as the flames licked the outside of the metal door. The screams were deafening but brought True a sense of peace.
“Do you want me to call the cleaners?” Pup asked?
“No. The neighbors saw us pull up in our cuts. I want it to be known, if you cross the Dragons, there is retribution.”
“Who wants to eat?” Pup said as they piled back into the van. They all laughed and headed back to the clubhouse.
Chapter 18
True had heard from Shanna that Cutter was on the mend. He was able to hold down solid food so that was a relief.
Chase had taken to running the kitchen for Jezzy so she could attend to other things around the house. True was glad he had something to do. Not being able to go to Tight Fit was hard on Chase. He loved managing the place and did an amazing job at it.
He felt something tugging at his pants. He looked down to see Paul and Diane’s four-year-old daughter Diantha.
“Uncle True,” She said, “I’m going to need some help getting my strawberry milk.” She smiled the sweetest smile he had ever seen. He bent down and scooped her up in his arms. “See that man there", he pointed at Chase, “He will help you if you ask him.”
She shook her little blonde curls no. “He said I should ask you.” She giggled.
True looked at Chase who was beaming at him. Not sure what was going on, he walked into the kitchen with Diantha in his arms and grabbed all the stuff she would need for her milk. She informed him she liked syrup, not powder. He laughed and said he would make her syrupy strawberry milk. She tasted it giving him the thumbs up. He sat her at the nearest table, kissing her on the head. It was nice seeing all the little ones here.
“What was that all about?” He asked Chase.
Chase wrapped his arms around him. “You light up when you are around children. You would make an amazing father.” True frowned at him. A father? He thought. He shook his head no, trying to walk away.
Chase held on to him. “Yes, you would. You are a natural with kids.”
True studied Chase. “Do you want kids?”
“I think we shouldn’t rule it out. I think we would be really good parents to a child or two.” Chase grinned.
“Or two?” True looked almost scared. Chase laughed openly at him. “Just think about it my big strong sexy biker man. That’s all I’m asking.”
True laughed at Chase’s attempt to flatter him. Kids? Huh. He never really had thought about it. They would definitely have to buy a home of their own. Not that that would be an issue. The other part of that was, though, who would let someone as damaged as him, adopt a child, let alone more than one?
When Devon and the guys returned from their job, the house was serving gumbo out to everyone and smelled like the fresh homemade bread that had just finished baking. There was laughter, singing, kids playing, joy throughout.
True smiled, even in lockdown, being with each other was all that mattered.
Prologue
Six weeks later
Shanna unveiled her Grand Re-opening sign of her shop. Finally, she could get her business going again. She had redesigned some areas.
In the back was the garage, which had always been that way, but now had a new addition of blast proof doors.
On the right side of the shop was the merchandise. She had her helmets, boots, shoes, and gear towards the back. In the front she had her shirts, pants, bandanas and other clothing accessories.
On the left side was the bikes and parts. There were trikes, the latest model of bike you could order, custom selections, and any pieces or parts you could need or want. With the added security of bulletproof, shatterproof glass windows.
Shanna had her favorite tee on that had a picture of a bike on it that said You would be loud too if I was riding you.
The lockdown was still in effect for family members since they hadn’t caught who was behind the attacks. So far no more had happened but they weren’t tempting fate. Brynn had been allowed to leave to her survivor sessions because True now accompanied her for his own.
Chase, True, Devon, Cutter, Brick, and now Xain who owned part of the shop, were all there to help Shanna launch her big day. She doubled her regular sales. She was ecstatic. She had so many custom orders.
Chase and True came up on either side of her kissing her on each cheek to Congratulate their girl. She took them by the hands, slipping up to her room with them.
Devon caught True’s eye, winking at him to let him know he would keep watch at the shop.
Locking up that night, Devon called to check on the clubhouse.
Hauser answered. “We are all good boss. You comin’ home soon?”
“Yeah. Leaving now. Is Brynn home? I tried to call but she didn’t answer.”
“Yeah she is playing with the kiddos. You want me to get her?”
Devon smiled. “No. Tell her I will see her soon.”
He walked out into the parking lot to get on his bike. He never saw the two men rushing up to him until it was too late and the cloth with the acrid smell hit his nose. Darkness surrounded him as he heard a voice say, “We got the target boss.”
