And it all started with the words, “Fuck you!”
Epilogue
Jonah West
The third chime by Alexa meant that Ella was at the door, but this time we both were, as Jonah rounded the counter with lunch bags for her, a kiss for me and ushering us out towards the train. We had moved to his condo when we returned from our honeymoon. As a surprise, I had the painting we purchased from Faith mounted on our wall in the bedroom. It was innocent enough, but also intimate enough that we knew what it meant.
Since this was the last Friday of school for Ella and tomorrow, the three of us were boarding planes to go to Florida. It was determined that we would spend the other part of our honeymoon in Florida at Disney World. Ella was absolutely down for this. Well, it was seven of us in total, since Ella had invited the entire family. My parents were more excited about the trip than I had seen them in a while. Naomi and Javier were equally pumped, which made me feel good. Especially since we had not had a family vacation since we were probably kids. It was amazing when a little one is thrown in the mix—how it could bring a group of folks together. I loved it.
Just as Dakota said, the four of them definitely served as babysitters when she and I wanted to have some alone time. It was there that I was able to have her take me fully inside her tight ass. God, she was so fucking great and shit, I was lucky as hell. I knew it and never wanted to forget it.
One evening the ladies decided to have a day to themselves and the men hung out. We didn’t do shit, except watch a game, order some pizza, wait for the women to come back. Ella came back passed out, but her little nails and toes were done. I immediately pulled her from Naomi’s arms and put her to bed. When I returned, I saw my tipsy wife sitting on the couch with her legs crossed and palming her bare breast.
“I was thinking, lover boy.” She squeezed on the nipple and I nearly buckled. “I should get these puppies pierced.”
“Then I wouldn’t be able to suck them like I want,” I told her as I dropped to my knees and crawled to her.
“True, true.” She mumbled. “That means you can’t get a St. Albert, because that’s like three to four months of healing. I can’t go that long without that big dick.”
Dakota opened her legs and began to rub her wet pussy with three fingers, rendering me speechless as I watched. Fuck, she was going for it. Hard and rough, like I love. At any moment, she was about to cum hard, but I wanted her to fall apart on my cock. Therefore, I nabbed her hand, pulling her down on the floor with me. Quickly taking off my clothes, I sat her down on me, with her back to my chest. She moaned, hissed and was biting that lip of hers until I filled that mouth of her with my fingers.
“Wife,” I moaned in her ear, which caused her to writhe more.
“Husband,” she exhaled as the quivering of her body began jerking around my hard cock.
I was fast behind her as the terms alone transcended positions, titles, and roles. It was a union that formed years ago on a television show, but through some creative and investigative work, we were able to ride it out. We had the rest of our lives to figure out all the other shit.
One Year Later
“Dad, can you tell Alexa to add my name to a song too?” Ella asked me on our father-daughter date as we slid into the booth. “She says mommy’s name, your name, but I don’t have a song with my name in it.”
Pulling out my phone, I quickly searched a song with the name Ella. The result did not provide me with a concrete answer, so I said, “Okay. I’ll let her know.”
“Thanks.” She nodded and picked up the menu.
“I think I want mommy to have a boy and not a girl,” Ella picked up our earlier conversation, where she discussed her preferred gender of her future sister.
We had not told her just yet, because we loved these little debates she has with herself about the gender. The girl has us laughing all the time. The innocence, as well as her dry humor, is too funny. She gets that’s from her mom, I know. Dakota is just so happy that she can be a six-year-old and not thirty. When we talked about Ella, my wife just wanted our little girl to be just that. She loved having grandparents that spoiled her and would insist that she visit. Even the playdates with Vega and Cano’s kids were good for Ella. We wanted her to be well-rounded, free and prepared for whatever life was going to throw at her.
We wanted that for all of our kids, so as she was out with the Faith for their infamous Saturday lunches, as we did our monthly Daddy-Daughter brunches. I looked forward to them and so did Ella because she never let us forget. They were on her calendar. Along with the fact that the family was going to Disney World again. The entire family.
Again.
Dakota reminded me that there would be more babysitting opportunities.
I guess.
Skin for Her was a top startup, grossing more than almost any of my others that I invested in all of my years. Dakota took it in stride and, oddly enough, still came to me for advice. We had our invisible mentor and mentee hats, we’d put on. Then we would put on our husband and wife hats. With Ella, we had to put on our parent hats, because that little girl could be a handful. If we let her, she’d parent us.
There was no more word form Samuel, the man who we did not name. However, we decided that when the time came for Ella to ask and inquire, we would share with her what happened and then work her through all of it.
One Sunday morning, the three of us were walking to our favorite breakfast spot, when a young guy stopped walking and look at Dakota for a little longer than I would like.
“Holy shit,” he exclaimed. “Aren’t you that woman? From that show…uh…uh…The Shark Tank rip off. Wait. What was it? Invest in the Best!” he exclaimed. “Yes, that’s it. It’s you, isn’t it. You said…”
I cut him off and sneered, “My daughter is here.”
His eyes grew bigger, then he said, “Holy shit, it’s you too. You’re the judge from the same show. Oh my…”
Before we could even get a word in edgewise, he pulled out his phone, snapped a picture of us and said, “Damn, this is good. Y’all are together. What kind of love story is that?”
Then he skedaddled off while shaking his head. Dakota and I looked at each other with wide eyes and then we burst out laughing.
“That was close,” she murmured.
“Mommy, Daddy. Y’all were on tv? In a love story?” Ella called from below, as she held both of our hands. “What kind of love story? Can I see it?”
“A crazy love story, baby,” I responded.
“And you can’t see it until you’re grown,” Dakota added.
“Oh man. Y’all get to have all the fun.” Ella sulked. “I’m going to have my own love story and I won’t tell neither of you, one day.”
She mumbled something else under her breath and if I didn’t know any better, I thought she said something about Casey. The only Casey I knew was Vega’s son, who was much older than my girl. I will definitely keep my eyes on that kid.
“Patience, my girl,” Dakota coaxed Ella. “One day, a man will woe you, compliment you and he’ll be worthy of you. Until that day, do not be so hasty. He’ll seek you out. Okay?”
Ella looked up at her mom, then at me, and said, “That’s how you got your King?”
I smiled because that was one of her first questions she asked me.
“That is, babe.” Dakota smiled. “That’s our love story.”
“I can do that.” Ella agreed, causing both of us to look at each other again.
These were those priceless moments that no amount of money could buy. I love every moment.
The End.
Thank you so much for reading Mr. West. I hope you enjoyed and that you will leave a review on Amazon or Goodreads. I enjoyed Dakota and Jonah, as their story was a different type.
What I am curious about, is Ms. Ella’s story…
Hmm.

Eli has a monthly sex schedule and Brandi is his personal bodyguard. (Yup, that was a whole fight) However, this is what happens, when he goes to have his scheduled sex...

Eli:
“Under usual circumstances, I text Boomer (driver) and let him know when to swing around. Now that you’re on board, I’ll text you as well.”
I nodded as she stared and then began to exit the vehicle.
To my surprise, when I went to close the door, Brandi was standing on the other side of the car and closing the door too.
“What do you think you’re doing?” I asked with wide eyes and full of alarm.
“My job, sir,” She exclaimed as those dark eyes remained on me.
Unwavering.
Demanding.
Daring.
In order for the two of us not to have a shouting match over the car. My intentions were to get close enough to tell her that she needed to get her ass back into the car. Yet, I found myself in her space and that was way too close. I smelled her feminine odor. No perfume, but just her.
“You need to stay in the car,” I met her head-on since she looked prepared for a fight.
“Sir, with all due respect,” She began. “I cannot do that. My job is to protect you and even you stated I needed to be by your side at all times. So, I’m going with you. This woman, Regina has been fully vetted by my team, but this is a hotel with many unknowns. This makes me very uncomfortable.”
This was true, but the idea of her staying with me while I fucked another woman was too damn much.
“You’re not coming with me,” I demanded through clenched teeth.
“Then you’re not letting me do my job,” She came back full force. “I was hired to protect you and I will.”
“I’m telling you to stand down,” I changed my terminology, so she’d understand it was an order.
This, in fact, jolted her, but she looked ready to take me on.
“Now, as I stated, you’re in the car.” I looked her up and down. “You’re not missing much. It’s fucking. So, unless you’re trying to get fucked, you’re not going to be on my hip Brandi.”
“Sir,” She took a step forward and said in a low voice. “I need to sweep the room, ID the woman and I will stand guard at the door. Outside the door. I am not comfortable sitting in the car, while you go into uncharted territory. There are enemies everywhere, sir. You hired me to do a job and I am asking that you allow me to do it.”
Fuck.
“Brandi, I’m going up there,” I pointed to the fortieth floor. “To fuck. It’s an arrangement to get it out of my system that happens once a month. This has been happening for the past three years. So, if these women wanted to do something to me, they have had plenty of opportunities. I know I hired you, but it’s not that serious.”
I figured that she would simply comply, but no. Her ass had to go and make a fucking point.
“It’s not just her, it’s the other five hundred and forty-one guests that have registered rooms tonight, too.”
Guh.
“You want to hear me fucking another woman?” I asked her, for some asinine reason.
Probably in an attempt to scandalize her.
“I don’t get paid to hear anything besides someone trying to harm you, sir?” Her face told me the answer was the truth, but her eyes said something different. Whatever it was, the woman was a master at hiding it, but I saw it. Briefly, but it was there.
“Fine,” I shook my head.
Brandi looked as if she was about to say something, then she stopped and closed her mouth.
“What?” I asked as we were still standing facing each other. “Speak freely, Cruise. I don’t like secrets.”
“Do you feel comfortable with me being there?” She asked. “I can put a male agent on you next time if you think that would help.”
Hmm.
At that note, I jerked my head towards the door and said, “Fuck if I care.”
Then I marched my ass to the hotel door, retrieved my key from my breast pocket, and rode up the elevator. Brandi was in full agent mode, as she led the way off the elevator with hand on her gun. She cleared the floor, then asked me for the key to get into the room. Once the door unlocked, is where I should have known to do better.
Brandi came through like a force to be reckoned with. Regina jumped off the chaise lounge chair with her mouth standing wide open.
“Regina,” I called. “Sorry, this is a necessary precaution for our safety.”
Her head watched as Brandi looked at every nook and cranny, then she cleared the room, walked out and that was it.
It took a moment, before I looked at Regina and she smiled before saying, “That’s new.”

Brandi Cruise
As I stood outside, hands crossed in the front of me, on guard, and ready. I had worked a double, but Mr. Richardson was very busy this week. He insisted that I be on his detail, which was always interesting since he never wanted a woman in the first place.
Even to the point that on his scheduled times to fuck, he decides that I need to stay in the vehicle. For all I know, these women’s husbands are after him. Imagine those headlines, rich mogul, Eli Richardson dead while having illicit sex, in some fancy hotel. His bodyguard was in the car as this took place. The woman then comes out with a tell-all story.
Nope.
Not on my watch.
I gathered that woman’s DNA, hair from her brush, and anything else I could find. The initial tests cleared, but I’d go deeper tomorrow with the hair samples.
A long time ago, I knew not to watch the clock or dread over watching the minute hand. Since this would only produce it taking its sweet pace. However, it could not have been five minutes before the door behind me jerked open, causing me to go for my gun, turn and see a pissed Eli Richardson storming out of the room.
“Sir…” I started, but he cut me off.
“Let’s go!” He commanded as he strode to the elevator.
My hand stayed on my gun, but I backed away from the door as I kept my eyes on the hotel room. Bitches these days were vicious. Once we were on the elevator, my angst went down a little, but not much. What I wasn’t ready for was Mr. Richardson’s wrath.
“Cruise, when I give you an order to stand down, you stand your ass down!” He barked. “Do you understand me?”
The question was rhetorical, I knew, but why was he going off on me?
“I asked you to do one thing, but no,” he continued. “Keep your fucking ass in the car.”
He was definitely talking to himself at that point, but I didn’t like his tone.
“Sir, I could not in good conscious stay in the car, while you are my charge. If you would like someone else to guard you, then I can arrange something else or replace me.”
His eyes snapped to mine before he moved into my space. I was not scared, but the expensive cologne hit me harder than I knew. In my face is where he hissed, “You are going no-fucking-where. You’re mine.”
Ummm.
I met his eyes straight on and in them told many things. Too much to unpack in the milli-second that I saw them and entirely too much for me to decipher.
The elevator doors opened, and he stormed off, but not before he turned and hissed, “Don’t ever mention this…”

Tony & Ida: Stetson Series
Ida
It was the summer of seventy-two when I landed in Libby, Iowa. I’m not sure what made my mother stop there, but it seemed like home to me. In the fall of seventy-two is when I laid eyes on Tony Timms. He was a gorgeous sophomore; brawny, strong, and just simply a sight to see. We went to the same school, but I was a freshman when I started at Libby High. To say someone was dreamy, well he had romance hero features, but there was a ruggedness about him, that did not allow him to Fabio. Tony was different
than me, though. At the time, races, even in the small town of Libby, did not relate well. It was a trying time, but he never treated me any differently. That is why I think I always liked him.
From afar of course.
My mother moved from the South, “to get away from the racist,” so she told me, but the Midwest was the same. Not Tony Timms, though. They weren’t as blatant as the South with those crazy Jim Crow laws, but it was the subtleties. Libby was a small town and much better about it, but the one that always stood above the rest of the bunch was the boy who lived on the farm. He had his own pickup truck, worked in the morning on the farm with his father, and his mother baked pies. Mama said she made the best pies in town, and once a month, we’d go and buy one from her stand. I would always look for their only son, but it was rare that I’d see him on a Saturday.
He had the prettiest girl on his arm all the time and that was cool. By their senior year, the two would be prom king and queen. Everyone knew it, but he didn’t care. I overheard him telling his football teammate that once. Apparently, Tony just wanted to hit something on the field. It didn’t matter to him none. As time went by, we graduated from high school and I decided to go into nursing. Most girls my age did, if they didn’t get married.
When it was announced that Tony Timms would get married to Vicky, for some reason, that nearly broke my heart. She was an okay person, I knew of her, but her and Tony? I think her mama told her that he was a catch and she needed to catch him now. Vicky was the type to live life and be free, as she was the life of the party. The girl wanted to see the world. But getting married to Tony would not yield that, which made it all seem relative when I heard she left town, left those boys there. And Tony.
After it was announced that they were getting married, I turned nurse into traveling nurse, because there was no way I wanted to sit around and see that. The constant reminder that the only man that seemed to catch my eye would be trotting around town with his wife. Of course, they’d have kids and they’d all look like Tony. There was no doubt.
