Trouble's What You're In

My heart thudded in my chest as our kiss deepened. Each time his tongue grazed mine, the pull deep in my gut tightened. I rotated my hips, rocking against his hard dick beneath me. Shivers traveled up and down my spine. A rumbling groan escaped his lips and soaked my already wet panties.
He pulled out of the kiss and with a heavy-lidded stare, he took me in.
“Now what was that you were saying about me not having movie selection privileges?” he whispered.
The desire in his voice was so sexy. My chest rose and fell as I prepared to rip his clothes off and mount him.
“I’ve suddenly thought of a way you can earn them back,” I told him, licking my lips. “If you’re up for it.”
He placed his hands on my hips and forced me to slide across the length of his dick. “Oh, I’m up for it.” The amusement in his voice was evident. “You keep me up for it.”
I crashed my mouth into his. The electricity crackled between us and things heated up quickly. As the kiss became more passionate, clothes started coming off. Before I knew what was happening, I was naked in his lap.
He stared at me in awe. “You are beautiful.”
“So are you.” I stroked his dick as it announced itself between us. “And so is he.”
He inhaled sharply. “We need to take this to the bedroom. I don’t have a condom in here and you’re starting stuff.”
“You started it,” I murmured, licking my hand before I resumed my fondling. “You’ve been tickling me and teasing me and looking at me like that.”
Gazing up at me, his hands roamed over my skin. “Looking at you like what?”
“Like you want me. Like you love me.” I bit my bottom lip as he tweaked my nipples. “Like you want me to sit on your dick.”
“All those things are true.” He groaned as my thumb swiped the head before proceeding with a downstroke. His breathing changed. “You are trouble.”
I leaned forward, pressing my lips against his. “Well how about you get in some trouble…”

V is for Villainous
The Women of V Series - Part One
It wasn’t just the fact that it was a secret society at Hamilton University. It was also that their presence could be felt in every event, project, and donation on campus. Everything they touched reeked of wealth, power, and success.
But for me, it was the garden V planted and maintained to feed the homeless and the hungry that captured my heart and left me a supporter of the mysterious organization. Even without knowing all the details, it was clear to me that being a member of V was a game changer.
So when I was selected, I was floored.
But had I known the things I’d have to do, the people I’d have to hurt, the lies I’d have to tell, I would’ve declined. Or at least, that’s what I tell myself so I can sleep at night. People always want to know what V stands for. For me, V stands for villainous.
I’m not the hero of this story. I’m the villain.
And that’ll haunt me for the rest of my life.

In 2015, I had the idea for Trouble’s What You’re In. I conceptualized the story and I even wrote out chapter one. But a different story took over in my mind and TWYI got put on the backburner. But one of the things that I am focused on is completion. And after completing The Women of V (which I conceptualized in 2016 and released in 2019), I knew it was time to finish Trouble’s What You’re In. This story went a different way than I originally planned, but that is the beauty of storytelling. Your journey can take you anywhere.
To my family and friends who have loved and supported me and my work, thank you. I am blessed to have you in my life. I love you all to the moon and back.

Kumiko—thank you for being my assistant and friend. Always.
Authors, bloggers, readers, thank you. You have changed my life with your love and support. It truly means so much to me. I am floored when I hear people say that they know me and love me and/or my work. I am honored when I read reviews that get it—my stories, my characters, my point, my message. The knowledge that I’ve moved people with my words is huge to me. I don’t take it for granted. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. I can’t begin to explain how much it means to me to be able to write and publish my novels and to have you take the time to read them. Sending you all hugs and love.
