Her walls tighten around me, and she bucks against my mouth, taking what she needs. I honestly love how she lets go and loses all control with me. Her fingers curl in my hair, and she tugs, a firm grip that drives me mad. Her voice is a low murmur, saying things I can’t decipher from deep between her legs.

A thin sheen of sweat coats my body as I pleasure her with my mouth and fingers, increasing the tempo, until her legs are quaking. She moans, low and deep, and her body begins to twitch, her sexy noises a little louder now as she gives herself over to the orgasm pulling at her.

“That’s it Brianna. Rub that hot pussy against me,” I say as she rolls her hips toward me. “Show me how much you like me fucking you with my fingers, and how much you like my mouth on your body.”

“Luca,” she murmurs as the floodgates open, and her sweet juices fill my mouth and drip down my chin. I lap at her, but she keeps coming and coming and coming. I can’t believe I can do this to her. I stay on my knees and lick her clean, and by the time I stand and press against her to keep her upright, her boneless body is a limp mess, the epitome of a well-pleasured woman.

I brush her hair from her face to see her. She swallows, and from the rough, scratchy sound it’s easy to tell she’s parched. I press my lips to hers, share the moisture on my tongue.

  “Mmm,” she moans.

I break the kiss and brush my thumb over her hot pink cheek. “What do you think of sex in a public place now?” I ask.

She moves her hips, massages my dick with her stomach. I want to be inside her, but tonight is about her, which means I’ll have to take care of myself in the shower later.

She arches her brow. “Didn’t you clarify that this was simply foreplay.”

  “Yeah, I did.”

“Then I can’t answer your question, now, can I, since technically we didn’t have sex in a public place.” She bats long lashes over innocent eyes, and I love this playful side of her.

I laugh at that. I’m sure she’s one hell of a great lawyer. “Something tells me you’d like to have sex in public,” I say and then push my thumb into her mouth. She sucks it for a bit and a groan I have no control over escapes me. “That you’d like to try it on for size.”

“Wouldn’t you like to know,” she says, her answer coy, playful.

“Goddamn right I would.” She reaches for my button and I shake my head.

“I want to touch you,” she says. “I want you in my mouth.”

I want that too, but I wanted this to be all about her. “Oh, you will. Later I’m going to feed you my cock, and you’re going to take it deeper than ever before,” I tell her. A whimper catches in her throat and turns into a gasp when someone knocks on the door.

“Just a second,” I say and grab her dress from the floor. I help her into it and toss the ripped lingerie into the nearest bin. Then something comes over us. We both start laughing like two teenagers who’ve just gotten away with something illegal. Maybe we’re both tired, or maybe this is all just so insane, all we can do is laugh. I don’t know the reason, but what I do know is, for the next week, I want to do everything with this woman. Everything. And after that I can never set eyes on her again.

  CHAPTER ELEVEN

  Brianna

I STRETCH OUT on the bed, my body warm, heating up at a rapid pace as arousal hits me hard, like a bullseye between my legs. Halfway between awake and sleep, I work to open my eyes, figure out what the hell is going on. Am I having a sex dream? I’m not sure, but the pleasure between my thighs is delicious and intense and I’m in no hurry for it to end. My temperature continues to rise and I take deep, gulping breaths, so close to orgasming, I can hardly believe it.

A buzzing sound reaches my ears and wakes me a little more. I lift my head, glance down and find a grinning Luca between my legs, waking me up with none other than Mr. Right.

“Oh God,” I laugh. He wasn’t kidding when he said he wanted to use it on me, and while I would have let him, I never expected him to surprise me with it like this. I have to say, I’m glad he did. You’d think I would be mortified, but after everything we’ve been doing, embarrassment is the last thing I’m feeling.

  “Good morning,” he whispers.

“Luca, I can’t believe...” My words fall off as pleasure grips me. I sink back down onto the pillow and widen my legs even more for him. Mr. Right vibrates against my clit, and I curl my hands, grip a fistful of the sheets to hang on to. “Luca,” I cry out. After all the sex we’ve been having, how can I still be so aroused, still so needy for more?

He puts the toy inside me and I clench around it, but I fear Mr. Right just isn’t going to cut it anymore. Not after having Luca in my body.

“So good,” I murmur and toss my head from side to side, my hair a tangled mess beneath me. “But it’s you I want inside me.”

He lays the toy over my clit and falls over me. In one smooth motion he enters, and just like that I come all over him.

“Gesù! You are so hot,” he growls. I wrap my legs around him, Mr. Right vibrating against our bodies as he moves his cock in and out of me, making me feel so gloriously full, my mind shuts down. I wrap my legs around him, and he groans into my mouth before kissing me deeply.

I run my nails over his naked back as he takes me higher and higher. In no time at all my body lets go again, and Luca stills inside me, orgasming right along with me. He lifts his head and his eyes meet mine as he completely depletes himself.

I smile at him. “What a way to wake up. A girl could get used to that.” I rake my hands through his hair, and he pins me to the bed. I suck in a breath of contentment as I angle my head to glance at the clock.

“I know I was fast, but you didn’t have to time me,” he says, his voice muffled against my skin.

I laugh. “Sometimes fast is good, and I wasn’t timing you. We have to be somewhere.”

  “Where?”

“You’ll see when we get there.” I shove him to the edge of the bed. “Now get showered and dressed.”

  “Only if you’ll join me.”

I laugh. “If I join you, we’ll never get out of here, and I think you’re going to like what I have planned. Now go.” Grumbling, he disappears into the bathroom, and I keep my gaze locked on his perfect backside until he disappears. Water running reaches my ears, and my body, so relaxed after sex, is completely boneless. I’m not sure I’ll be able to use my muscles today, despite the fact that my plans involve the use of almost every muscle in my body. When the shower turns off, I jump in for my turn and wash quickly. Once we’re both dressed, I tell him what to pack in a bag, and we head to the main lodge, where I rent a vehicle for our excursion. Thirty minutes later we finally reach our destination and I turn to catch Luca’s expression.

“When you told me to pack swimming trunks, I had no idea you had this in mind. In fact it’s the last place I ever thought you’d want to go,” Luca says, a wide smile splitting his lips, his dark eyes glancing around to take everything in like he’s seeing the place for the first time, even though I know he spent a lot of time at Lake Silvaplana when he worked here. I still don’t know the real reason he was bartending at Diamond Peak, and while I’m a bit curious, I suspect I never will. He seemed to hedge a bit last time it came up.

“Why not?” I ask as I park the rental between two huge trucks and look out over the lake as the rippling waves glisten in the late afternoon sun. My gaze skates over the towering mountains, hugging the lake from three sides, and the rushing waterfall smoothing the rough edges of the jagged rocks as it spills into the pond below. At least twenty kiteboarders play in the breeze as their boards skim the water.

He removes his seat belt and shifts to face me. “You said you were too scared to try it.”

I shrug. “And you said I should always face my fears. Maybe you were right about that.”

His face softens, making him look so damn adora
ble, I can’t help but want to kiss him. I release my belt, lean across the seat and press my mouth to his. His lips part, welcoming me in, and his hand cups my face as he gives me the softest kiss—a kiss so touching and profound, there isn’t a girl alive who could come back from it easily. I exhale a soft sigh and inch back.

“Besides,” I say. “You surprised me with the sunrise trip up the mountain, so I wanted to do something nice for you.”

His grin turns mischievous. “You don’t think you’ve been doing nice things for me?”

I whack him, and he fakes hurt. “You know what I mean.”

“Tonight, when we get back to the chalet, I’m going to do something nice for you, too.”

From the look on his face, I’m sure my surprise has something to do with sex, and I’m happy about that. His thoughtful gestures, like my sunrise surprise, awaken things in me, things best left buried.

“Ooh, can’t wait,” I say and glance at the kiteboarders again. “But right now I need a lesson.”

“Okay, come on. I’ll teach you everything you need to know.”

He reaches for the door handle but I touch his arm to stop him. “No, it’s okay. I booked a professional lesson.”

  He frowns. “Don’t trust me?”

Trust him? Trust a guy who made a fool of me back at Oxford?

  Oh God, I just might.

“We’re only here for a few more days. I want you to enjoy the kiteboarding and not waste your time with me.” He scrubs his face and looks off in the distance, like I’d just sucker punched him or something. What the hell? “Luca.”

He reaches for the door handle. “Let’s do this.”

I climb out of my seat, and we grab our bags from the trunk. I hit the fob to lock the doors, and a cool breeze ruffles my blouse as I follow him to the rental lodge. We sign in, and the clerk gives us our gear and keys to our lockers. He points down the beach, to the spot where the instructor is giving lessons.

“Once you’re changed, check in with Beck,” he says.

I’m about to head to the locker room when Luca captures my arm, and I turn back to him. Concerned eyes meet mine, examine my face. “Careful, okay,” he says quietly. “Don’t take risks or do anything you’re not comfortable doing.”

“I’ll be okay,” I say and then swallow down the knot jumping into my throat. God, when he acts like this, like he really cares for my well-being, it makes me forget that what’s between us isn’t real. He leans down and drops a soft kiss onto my mouth. I’m breathless when he breaks it.

I stand on boneless legs when he peels his shirt off and makes his way into the changing room. I head into the girl’s locker room, on the other side of the hut, and quickly change into my swimsuit, thankful I tossed one into my suitcase at the last minute before leaving New York. I shove all my things into the locker and pin the key to my suit.

Luca is waiting for me near the beach when I come out of the lodge, and his gaze leaves my face to travel the length of me. He frowns, and I fold my arms over my chest.

“What?” I ask, suddenly self-conscious in my suit. Which is ridiculous. The man has seen me naked, for God’s sake.

“You’re gorgeous,” he says and scrubs his chin as he glances around. “I’ll do my best not to be an asshole, but I can’t guarantee it.”

I shade the sun from my eyes and follow his gaze, trying to make sense of things. “What are you talking about?”

“Do you really not know how beautiful you are, or what goes through a guy’s mind when he looks at you?”

“I...” I might not be that chubby girl from my younger days, but there is a part of her that still lives inside me. “I don’t notice things like that, I guess.”

“Well, I do. And Brianna, if a guy so much as touches you, and I lose my shit, you can’t hold that against me.”

Feeling playful, and maybe even a little giddy at the way this man makes me feel—like I’m the most beautiful woman in the world—I step into him. “The only thing I want to hold against you is my body, Luca.”

His teeth clench with an audible click. “Gesù! You can’t say things like that when I’m in my swimming trunks.”

I move against him, feeling him thickening. His fingers close around my shoulder and he steps back. “Unless you want me to take you behind the hut, you’d better stop.”

  “Maybe I’d like that.”

His dark growl swirls in the wind. “Brianna—”

I laugh and turn, giving an extra shake to my ass as I walk away. “Go. Have fun. I need to get to my lesson.”

“Tonight,” he calls out. “We’re going to pick right back up here.”

I glance at him over my shoulder as he carries his equipment to the edge of the water. He goes about preparing his sail, and I kick my sandals off and squeeze the warm grass between my toes. Shading my eyes, I walk toward the instructor, but as I do, nervousness jolts through me and I begin to second-guess this idea. Am I really going to go kiteboarding? The idea of flying across the lake, carried by a kite, terrifies me. As I mull that over, I think more about what Luca said to me.

I need to face my fears.

He wasn’t wrong when he said I was afraid of commitment, and part of him agreeing to pretend to be my fiancé was my trying on a relationship for size. So far it hasn’t been so bad. Well, that’s not the best way to put it. More like, so far it’s been amazing. I’ve never had so much fun in my life, and being with Luca has made me rethink everything in my life. Are there good guys out there? Ones who aren’t going to hurt, lie to or cheat on me?

Even if there are, do I want any of them?

My stomach clenches at that thought. Oh God. If I’m not careful, Luca could very well ruin me for another.

I stop at the edge of the embankment and admire Luca as he sets off. I can’t help but smile as I watch him. He’s totally in his element as he takes to the air, doing tricks and turns that would result in a trip to the emergency room if I ever tried them.

I follow the rocky path, and the instructor is just finishing up with a student when I arrive.

“You must be Brianna,” he says and checks his watch. “I’m Beck.”

I smile and take in his Australian accent as I shake his hand. He’s a handsome guy. Tall, with windblown blond surfer hair that looks like it hasn’t seen a comb in decades. “Nice to meet you, Beck.” I take in the equipment he’s laying out for me, and he must sense my nervousness.

“No worries, mate,” he says. “I’ll have you up and flying in no time.”

I glance toward the water and search out Luca. Unlike me, he’s athletic and brave. But I want to do this. I want to step out of my comfort zone here in the Alps and do something fun. I’m not sure why Luca brings that out in me, but it’s certainly not a bad thing.

For the next half hour or so, Beck talks about the clock position and the wind window, as well as neutral, intermediate and power zones. He goes over all the equipment, explaining the kind of kite I’m using, the steering bar, training harness and struts. I take it all in, a little fascinated by it. Once the land lessons are over, he takes me to the water and I slide my feet into my board, waves lapping at my face and body as I try to position myself.

“Okay, remember,” he says as he walks away, holding the kite, ready to get me in the air. “You give me the thumbs-up when you’re ready to try, and when you’re ready to come down, you tap your head. Got it?”

“I got it,” I say, little bubbles of excitement welling up inside me.

“Don’t forget the eject button if you get in trouble.” I nod and run my finger over the word eject on my handle.

“Hey, Brianna. I’m right here,” Luca calls out as he comes boarding my way.

I give him a nervous wave.

“She’s got this, mate,” Beck calls out. “Quick learner.”

Luca stays close, and I ap
preciate it. If I go down hard—and I fully expect I will—he might be able to fish me out of the water before I drown.

I hold my handles, making sure the red bar is on the left like I was taught, and wind catches my kite, tightening the harness under my backside and dragging me deeper into the water. Before I know what’s happening, I’m lifted clear into the air. As I go higher and higher, fear grips me and I can’t seem to catch my breath. From the corner of my eye, I catch sight of Luca, and I let loose a loud cry. Panicking, I hit the eject button. I drop into the water, sink like a stone, and when I come up, Luca is right there.

“Brianna,” he says and swims to me. “You okay?”

I gulp air and put my arms around him. He holds me, and I instantly calm down. “I’m okay,” I say. “I panicked.”

“We all do the first time,” he says softly.

  “How embarrassing.”

“Nah, nothing to be embarrassed about. You were far more graceful hitting the water than I was my first time.”

I cling to him, and he treads water to keep us both up. “I doubt that.”

He grins at me. “Would I lie to you?” he says, but then something comes over him, and he averts his gaze. “You okay to swim?”

“Yes,” I say and let go of him.

He keeps an eye on me for a second, to ensure I’m okay. “Just remember your wind window, and when you gain power, pull down on the bar, and it helps lessen it.”

As we tread water, he brushes my hair from my face. “Come on, let’s go back in and start again.” He angles his head. “That is if you want to.”

“I do want to. You make it look like so much fun.”
