Aleksandr

The spark we had together was undeniable from the very beginning, and even now as he touched me just as he had many times before, it still sent chills down my spine. He got a good look at my flushed skin, rocking my hips back and forth over his hard dick, as he grabbed a handful of my hair, leading my head to see what he was about to do next. He was in charge, he commanded the room the same way I let him command my body, and it was a ride every single day. I grew wetter in anticipation, waiting for him to slip inside of me, driving that dick deep enough to make me run wild. He held my hands behind my back with one arm, the other guiding his dick in between my folds as it found its way into my opening. I moaned as he entered, and he smiled up at me, thrusting his dick upwards inside of me while I bounced up and down on it.

I nestled my head into his neck, feeling his length forcefully drive up inside of me, and I couldn’t hold in my cries. He let go of my hands so I could steady myself, bringing me back down for a kiss before he found my clit, rubbing it nice and slow at first to warm me up before the pleasure hit from all angles. He had mastered the art of taking care of my body in a way I’d never expected, and I was going to enjoy that power of his for the rest of my life.

  “Who's my good little girl?”

  “Mm,” I mumbled.

“Who's my good little girl?” he asked again, his dick slipping back inside of me hard.

“I-I am,” I replied, hesitantly as he tossed me over so he could get on top of me, holding my legs open so he could finish the job. I’d never felt better, I'd never felt more alive than I did in that very moment. It felt incredible to feel so free, to be with him forever now, and getting to experience this kind of pleasure on a daily basis. He wouldn’t let me get away, and he had trouble getting back to work when we were around each other. The sexual tension was always so high, and I never could complain. Business was different for criminals, and I knew that Aleksandr Volkov was going to go down in history as one of the greatest criminals there ever were.

I was surprised that he let me in on all of his secrets, learning about the way his family worked, about how much he’d put on the line his entire life to live out his dreams. I couldn’t believe that because of our adventure, he was able to do all of that and more. I was just glad to be a part of all of it, because he changed my life as much as I did his. Not a day had gone by where I didn’t think back to the times I almost lost him, and I reminded myself that I was never going to truly be rid of that feeling, but that I had to enjoy the moments of calm, because there was no telling which one would be my last.

He looked up at me, happy and content, just the way I’d been feeling all of this time after we finally got rid of Edik. All of his allies were nowhere to be seen, going into hiding as they prepared for the days to come, losing out on the fortune they were promised. Edik may have been the kind of man that thought ahead of the game, but he was always so distracted by his greed and lust for power that he couldn’t even see the threats that were right in front of him. That was the reason he ended up dead, that was the reason I was able to get the upper hand and make sure that I’d have the chance at a new life that I was looking for from the very beginning.

We both had a shower, getting ready for the day, meeting the family downstairs for brunch. It was the first time I actually enjoyed entertaining because there was no ulterior motive attached to it that I was blindly unaware of until the very last second. The staff had prepared a beautiful spread, laying out everything on the lavish dining room table in our new home. I answered the front door as Viktor and his wife Lilia came in, with a few of Aleksandr’s closest associates, along with Jack sauntering in right before the door closed. It was amazing that we all managed to stay so close together after everything happened, and I truly wouldn’t have had it any other way.

Everyone took their seats as the first few items on the menu were passed around, along with drinks. I stood up at the head of the table with Aleksandr, so we could have a moment to thank them all for being there with us.

“I know that we would’ve had more Volkov brothers here with us if they weren’t out traveling the world and building new businesses of their own, but I just wanted to take a moment to thank you all for coming. It’s been such a great year, getting the chance to get all of my businesses off of the ground, having a moment to breathe after all the struggle we’ve been through, and getting to embark on a new journey. I have to acknowledge the great work that all of you have done for us, and how much we appreciate you all sticking your necks out when times get tough. I wanted to take another moment, as we’re coming up on the anniversary of the day I nearly lost my life, and I just wanted to thank Irina for being the bravest woman I’ve ever known. She’s taught me a valuable lesson on love, patience, and what it means to be a family. Thank you,” said Aleksandr, as he turned to kiss me, and I fell directly into his arms.

Everyone at the table clapped, but before I had the chance to take my seat again, Aleksandr stopped me. I watched as he got down on one knee to do the very thing I always wanted someone to do. I remembered what it was like thinking that Edik was never going to pop the question because he didn’t love me enough, but now I’d had the chance to experience true love, and when Aleksandr finally opened up that little velvet box, I burst into tears.

“Irina Morozova, will you spend the rest of your life with me?”

“Yes! Yes, I will. I love you,” I said, falling to my knees with him, as he buried his head in my neck, showering me with so many kisses that we both almost forgot about the ring. He pulled back, taking my hand in his, as he slipped that large, beautiful rock onto my ring finger. I smiled down at it, feeling overwhelmed by the fact that I’d been waiting for this day for such a long time. I never thought that it would come so soon, but I knew that Aleksandr and I were simply inseparable. I knew from the first time he told me that he loved me that he meant it, and it would only lead to a happy moment like this one.

Everyone around the table gasped with excitement, all gathering around us both to share in one of the most incredible moments of our entire lives. I spent the rest of the day enjoying time at home with family, eating, laughing, and planning for a wonderful future. When brunch was over, Lilia was helping me clean up. She pulled me aside, handing me another glass of champagne while we made our way out into the garden.

“I see that you’re really getting settled around here. I’m glad to see that,” she said, making small talk with me, but I could already feel that there was a very important conversation about to happen.

“It’s been a hard time coming, but now that we’ve managed to get the hang of things, I can safely say that I’m genuinely comfortable. You know, a few years ago, I never would’ve even imagined getting out or being free to do whatever I want, but Aleksandr gave me that opportunity and he saved me from a life of utter hell,” I explained to Lilia, even though Viktor most likely filled her in on the details of my story.

“I just want to be frank with you, Irina. Life in the crime world isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. I remember the first time I nearly thought I lost Viktor, and how everything around me started to shatter. I thought that was going to be the last time, but the truth is, it’s happened more times than I can count. The worry, the fear, it never really goes away,” she said.

“Does it get easier?” I asked.

“It does get easier, but I just want to make sure you know what you’re getting yourself into because once you bring children into this world, all of the stakes are higher. I know that you and Aleksandr are going to make great parents one day, but I need you to know that if you need anything at all, I’m here for you. We’re all here for you,” she said, giving my hand a light squeeze.

“I appreciate everything that both you and Viktor have done for us since everything happened. I know it must not have been easy for you to have him chase down the man that was trying to uproot my entire life, especially because Aleksandr and Viktor weren’t even speaking at the time.”

“I was scared as I alway
s am, but I trust that Viktor knows when to step in and when to take a step back. That is something that you’re going to have to learn to do with Aleksandr once things really get off the ground with all avenues of his business. These men that we love so much want nothing more than to love us unconditionally and leave a legacy behind for their kids to follow. That is just the way it works, and sometimes difficult decisions have to be made. I can already tell that where the Volkov brothers are concerned, family means everything, even when they’re fighting. I knew that Aleksandr was going to try to hold out for a very long time, but Viktor wasn’t going to sit back and let him destroy his whole life. I know that Aleksandr is going to have to be called in the same way when one of his other brothers gets into trouble, but I can see that you’re not one for taking a backseat,” said Lilia.

“So far, I haven’t had the need to take one, but if it’s something that must be done, I’ll make that sacrifice for Aleksandr. Our lives are going to get complicated from here on out, there’s no denying that, but I just want to enjoy the moment as it is.”

“I was a lot like you when I first went through a traumatic experience that landed me in a relationship with a man that changed everything about my life. To be quite honest with you, I wouldn’t have had it any other way. I know that what you went through was far worse than what any of us experienced, but I admire your strength. I could’ve used strength like that when I was dealing with my own problems,” she said, with a chuckle.

“I’m just glad to know that the Volkov family is such a tight-knit group of individuals that really do care about each other. I know that I can count on you all whenever I may need, and the same goes for you. Now that I’m about to marry Aleksandr, I can see that my life is going to change, and I have the power to decide whether that changes for the better or not.”

“You certainly do, Irina. The pain may come back, the memories and nightmares may follow you for a while, but I promise you that they will dissipate eventually. You will become numb to a lot of this, and the world around you isn’t going to seem so scary anymore, but don’t lose yourself in the process, okay?” she asked, and I nodded.

  “I won’t. Thank you, Lilia.”

Her words really had an impact on me, because I truly didn’t understand this lifestyle the way she did. She went through similar experiences as me, coming out the other side, having to be stronger than she ever thought possible. I wanted to know what that was like, and now that I was about to marry the man of my dreams, I was going to have to make a lot of sacrifices. I didn’t know if I was capable of harboring that amount of fear and worry for the sake of Aleksandr being such a powerful man, but I knew I didn’t really have a choice in the matter. That was the way our cards were dealt, and I would stick by him because I believed in him. I believed in his capabilities, and I knew he was never going to let me down.

If I could go back and tell my past self that I was going to make it out of captivity, live a beautiful new life with a family that cared so much about me, I would’ve written it off as wishful thinking, but now that was simply my reality. I was once a shell of who I wanted to be, and I could already see that I was starting to fill it out quite nicely. I stared down at the glimmering diamond on my finger, realizing that this was the beginning of a wild ride that would become the rest of our lives. I was ready to experience whatever life had to throw at me, and I was ready to stand by my man, no matter who decided to get in our way. It was time to tap into the strength that led me here in the first place, and become the woman I always hoped I’d be.
