The Tradesman

Roderick, a young tradesman, cuts through a treacherous mountain pass to save time as he treks toward the Southern Plains. As he is repairing his damaged wagon, he comes across a curious seed, one that he chooses to plant in the hopes of someday returning to see what flourishes from it. But when he leaves the mountains, he finds that something mystical is trailing behind him and leading him ahead.Roderick, a young tradesman, cuts through a treacherous mountain pass to save time as he treks toward the Southern Plains. But the weight of his wagon is too much, forcing him to lighten the load to avoid completely breaking down. As he does so, he comes across a curious seed, one that he believes might have a mystical origin. As a traveler who never stays in one place, however, Roderick realizes that he will likely never get a chance to nurture it to maturity. But such a rare find ought not be wasted, and so he muses if he should just plant the seed and one day return or simply take it with him.
