Heavier Than Air
by T. E. Vario (t_e_vario@yahoo. com)
Long in technology, but lacking fossil fuel, warfare in the future is quiet, personal, and deadly. Pilot John Young has survived long enough to see his two children entering a war. His son Eric will see engineless air combat in a matter of weeks, while his daughter Sara works deep in the electronic espionage center Section 12. Fate will force them together in dealing with a labyrinth of threats from their enemies to the north, and from spies operating deep within their own forces.
