When reporter Katelyn Nelson comes face to face with pitcher Ryan Finnegan in the clubhouse for the first time, she feels an instant connection with him. It’s like she’s met him before, which she quickly remembers she did, four years ago when a chance encounter almost led to a one-night stand.
