"The suspense is nail biting..." ~In'Dtale Magazine
When billion-dollar heiress Kaya Lowen is kidnapped, her devoted bodyguard vows to stop at nothing to get her back. But, as Kaya gets her first taste of freedom away from barred windows, armed guards, and a father with questionable motives, a dark family secret begins to unravel and she wonders if staying in the arms of her blue-eyed abductor is safer than being found. At least, that's what her heart is telling her. Her head is saying run...
Now the hunt is on.
Deep in the wilderness of the Rocky Mountains, Kaya and her captors endure the worst Mother Nature can throw at them. While they are relentlessly pursued across rugged terrain and through raging storms, the captivating stranger who stole her from her father also steals her heart. Caught in the middle of a deadly game, Kaya desperately tries to do the right thing as her rescuers draw ever closer. Her survival soon comes down to a difficult choice--one she must make--between old loyalties and new love.

"The suspense is nail biting..." In'Dtale Magazine

"Serenade has a slow burn of a start, but thebackstory is important...The writing is well executed, particularly thedescriptive elements, something in which I feel the author truly excels. Thescenes and action following the kidnapping are fantastic, with enoughunexpected twists to keep the pages turning. I'd highly recommend this book tolovers of good, traditional YA with a unique plot." Readers' Favorite, 5-star review**

This author truly has a knack for story-telling and spinning it just enough to keep you guessing and needing to read more. This is a spectacular debut read and I highly recommend it." -Jenny Bynum, Black Words White Pages

From the Author
I loved writing this book. Every single moment was an adventure for me. The setting is based on real places I've been that inspired many parts of the story line, from the majestic Banff Springs Hotel, the romantic and rugged Rocky Mountains, to the Canadian Death Race held in Grande Cache - peeps be crazy! True, real, die-for-you love, family secrets, and a strong female character coming of age while surviving the elements, was so much fun to dream up and write about. I hope you enjoy!
