Read Claire's Prayer Storyline:

An Overseas Christian Fiction Romance After the sudden death of her parents, 21-year-old writer Claire O'Sullivan finds herself alone in the world. Struggling to cope with her double loss, her aunt buys her a ticket to Zimbabwe and urges her to spend a couple of months healing in the majestic surroundings of the African bush. Although she is hesitant, having never traveled further than her home in Dublin, Ireland, Claire gathers her courage and prepares to start again. Overcome by emotion at the raw beauty of the savannah, Claire feels God's love inspire her. But slowly she begins to wonder if the wildness of the country around her has become more of an influence. Because, no matter how she tries to stop it, she also begins to feel moved by Seth Henderson, the handsome but troubled owner of the game reserve where she's staying. Having fought in the Rhodesian bush war and lost both of his own parents to Zimbabwe's troubled past, Seth has his own emotional skeletons. Claire begins to feel more lost than ever as her strong Christian morals and rock-solid faith become confused by the undeniable attraction she feels towards Seth. And, as Claire turns more towards her faith and God to guide her, Seth pulls further away. To him, God has always been absent and elusive. Despite this, the attraction between them grows and Claire faces the biggest test of her faith. Will Claire's prayer be strong enough to show her God's true plan? Set against the backdrop of beautiful Zimbabwe, Claire's Prayer is a Christian fiction romance like none you'll have read before. From the AuthorIt has been an exciting and fulfilling journey writing my first book in the Christian Romance genre. Being a Christian myself, it was important to keep Claire 'true to her faith'; but 'life happens' and at times our hearts lead us along difficult paths. I believe that love is the most powerful emotion we can experience, and this emotion is responsible for all of our actions. I am a Bible reader and a prayer, I truly believe God hears our prayers and intervenes in our lives when we pray. The main theme I wish to convey in 'Claire's Prayer' is that though we stumble at times, God is always waiting with open arms to restore us and forgive us.About the AuthorYvonne Cloete is a preschool teacher and author based in Johannesburg, South Africa, where she lives with her husband of thirty-one years, Michael.
