Revved

Darren is dating Robbin to the dislike of everyone around him but he is with her because she would have never given him a second look in high school. He knows internally that she isn’t the one but he likes having her on his arm.
But when Penny shows up at an underground race that Darren is in, he notices her for the first time outside of the car parts shop. Feelings rush through him that he didn't know he had. Goodbye Robbin and hello Penny.
If only it was that easy.
