Meanwhile, Karesh and Aerlid must find a way to survive outside the safety of the mountain while the ehlkrid become ever more vicious. As the months pass, the situation in Astar becomes ever more dire. While their shields keep them safe from a direct attack, food becomes a pressing concern.
