A snowman in winter is a common sight but in the dead heat of summer? Why won't this snowman melt away as it should have done long ago?When their grandson, Bobby, goes through the winter ice never to be seen again, George's health begins to decline. As summer bears down, George is near death, but the snowman he'd made with Bobby on that tragic day remains, unmovable. Mamie has nearly given up trying to make the snowman go away until a young girl brings advice.
