At the dawn of the 19th century, men on either side of the Atlantic seek cunning ways to prevail over the harrowing dangers of the high seas to exploit the potential of international trade. Stewart Chamberlain is one such entrepreneur. This book appears to be unedited! It slows the story when I come to a sentence that runs together or missing letters. The author might be a great storyteller, but all of the mistakes ruin the story! I haven't even reached 7% in this book and cannot believe the lack of editing. Not only are full sentences strung together without any spacing, other sentences are flipped around and you have to decipher the order of them. I don't even know if story is any good because I can't get past the bad edit. The characters were solid and there was action, intimacy, and unexpected turns.
