In 1973 SETI, the Search for ExtraTerrestrial Intelligence, brought the Big Ear online -- a massive radio telescope larger than three football fields combined. In 1977, Big Ear received its most promising signal yet. Three volunteers were monitoring the skies that day. All three disappeared under mysterious and bloody circumstances. This is their story.
