StarTrek New Frontier. Excalibur#1: Requiem

When the U.S.S. Excalibur was suddenly destroyed, Starfleet not only lost one of its finest starships, but also their charismatic maverick captain MacKenzie Calhoun. After a brief get-together, the crewmembers go their separate ways. Lieutenant Soleta, has to face a painful reunion with her Romulan father, while Zak Kebron and Mark McHenry are sent undercover to investigate a series of mysterious alien abductions. Going their separate ways throughout the Alpha Quadrant, the Excalibur's survivors must face diverse challenges and dangers on their own.
