One Goal

You are Kevin Faklaw and you live to play soccer. Your flip-throw is outstanding, and Darrington High School's coach just offered you a varsity spot as a freshman. Sounds good, right? But actually, things just got pretty complicated. You have a lot of difficult choices to make. Should you take a season off from the soccer club you love, to face intimidating upperclassmen on the field? Should you tell Chuck Grady, the varsity goalie, to quit making googley eyes at your best friend, Autumn? And, how will you ever get your parents to let you attend Olympic Prep Soccer Camp in Holland next summer? Well, only you can decide.
