Thrilled to have my daughter back after she ran away from home in 2009, I catered to her every whim. I heard the accusations all over my small Minnesota community about how much she lied, but my blinding love made me believe every word she uttered.
Discovering my high school-age daughter was sending topless photos of herself electronically made my stomach lurch. Hearing the police say it was a crime left me speechless. A year later, I began to see the intricacies of her lies and manipulations.
