Sensing the danger, he then gripped the sword in his right hand tightly, as tossed the other hand's sword above his head into the sky. He then lifted his eyes from the ground revealing his bright golden eyes that had red eyeshades at their corners.

A solemn look on his face as he used the palm of his now free left hand to push against the ground launching himself into the air, almost instantly he arrived at a position being a few meters away from the heads of the six charging fiends who assaulted him with beam-like stabs.

Phewww! The beam-like spear stabs from the six charging 7 Tier Aura Disciple fiends missing his form by just an inch as the special guards looked towards the airborne Feng Yu with a sneer. The promptly changed their assault into a stationary offensive, as they stood in position pulling back their spears before trusting them into the air attempting to stab the now airborne Feng Yu to death.

“Humph! Think I’m in a bad position, you thought wrong...” Feng Yu muttered as he grabbed the handle of his sword that was throw above with his left hand and spun his body once more swinging his two swords. Clusters of thunderblaze auras and sword energies beamed scattered about the area dicing and annihilated all who surrounded his form.

  Shing-Shing-Shing-Shing!

Boooom! A massive explosion then followed as these energies carried the pieces of sliced up Aura Disciple guards into the distant corners of the base ground generating booms.

Swoosh! This golden-haired figure then flickered vanished from his previous airborne position much like a bolt of lightning as a shocking explosion soon erupted where he once floated.

After the debris cleared, a powerfully looking guard in fine armor emanating the energies of a True Foundation realm expert appeared. He looked at the retreated figure of the golden hair youth and clicked his tongue while speaking,” Tsk! Lucky human brat! How could he have sensed my sneak attack?”

The golden-haired youth who turned into a streak of blazing thunders then reformed within the region of the native prisoner’s army as he flipped his body in the air before landing gracefully on the ground, his feet sliding for a short while before coming to a stop.

Strands of his long hair falling over his face that was looking on the ground, he then lifted his head revealing his two golden eyes that shone behind the hair covering his face as he gazed at his assaulting enemy with an in-depth look as while thinking to himself.

“It seems that I’m growing closer and closer to true Sword Intent, as my senses of the world have grown sharper allowing me to avoid that Middle-level True Foundation realm middle-class fiend’s assault. If it were not so, I’d be dead meat...” Feng Yu said as he looked at his opponents curiously.

He then thought back to the scene of using a wide attack to destroy the six fiends and pondered, “I need to find a more destructive balanced technique, or rather than balance, wide range assault, one that can deal damage to multiple enemies at once. I’d use the sword token for the Dual Sword Pagoda, but I must be at the 5 Tier True Foundation realm for me to enter that space again. It seems that will have to find the chance to create a temporary technique...”

Feng Yu then swept his gaze across the battlefield and noticed the overwhelmingly crushing assault of Zyne against the Warrior realm leaders who battled him using a strange group array. He couldn’t help but wonder how powerful Zyne was in the past for him to be able to handle such power while only at that level.

“No point thinking about these things now! I should earn as many points as I can before this one-sided battle ends!” Feng Yu said, as his figure once more turning into a streak of lightning that danced about the battlefield of the base floor leaving his enemies into blazing pieces of diced up corpses.

The battle continued for a few hours, as now even the outside of the Prisoners Hall was coated by the darkness of the night. The brilliant fairy magic attacks, and energy attacks of fiends colliding with each other repeatedly creating beautiful lights that reflected in the densely falling rains, lighting up the night scenery as their explosions illuminated these mountainous regions.

Back on the base floor of the Prisoners Hall, one would see a group of corpses that once wore well-armored gears gathered together into heaps. Their armour stripped and equipped onto the bodies of the native prisoners making them now look more like a conventional army.

At the center of this group were the prisoners of the 9th floor, along with Zyne who was tweaking the last set of armour so that the natives could use them. The figure of Feng Yu was lying on the ground his body covered by the dense amount of sweat and blood that splattered all over his being.

“Haa... Haa... Haa...” Feng Yu panted heavily as he his hands gripped his swords were trembling.

Zyne who glanced at Feng Yu occasionally nodded in praise as he thought to himself, “It seems his luck isn’t solely connected to his destiny, but rather his own effort and hard work. Training during battle, it’s been ages since I’ve seen such a youth. I vaguely sense something strange with his Natial Star, almost as if it is out my reach belonging to something of a greater scale than I once was... but there’s no point in trying to solve all these, I suppose his future is unmeasurable...”

He then continued to work on his last set of equipment using his fingers to draw strange runes that patched up and strengthened the gears.

After a short moment of time, Feng Yu managed to recover his strength as he sat crossed-legged in this battlefield to regulate his breathing. A large number of energies from the environment swooshing towards his body like an endless pit that could devour the world itself.

“I didn’t notice it before, but now after transforming my bloodline. I’ve found that these energies within this realm are richer, they are on a different level compared to the outside world’s essence energy. I feel that it even lacks greatly compared to its past self, a few whiffs and my exhausted aura has already fully recovered. If I want, I could try to advance, but I will need a bit more consolidation. A few more life and death battles like these should allow me to shorten the time I need greatly...” As Feng Yu thought to himself, the always so quiet but observant Jing Mingyun was also thinking to herself.

“Your fate is unreadable, but your destiny star remains influenced by some higher power. I sense two ancient wills within you that became one, and this change allowed for you to become almost comparable to the direct breed of those belonging to my kind as well as a few other special races. If it was father’s Ascension Legacy that caused this, then I suppose all could be said to have been destined...” As Jing Mingyun said this, she once more focused on their surroundings inspecting for any slight change.

Feng Yu having now fully recovered once more got to his feet and walked about the area inspecting the thunder pillars used before to torture the prisoners. Soon, Zyne who had finished his equipment handling passed the gear over to one of the natives as he looked towards Feng Yu.

“Those are energy rods, normally used to gather energy from the surroundings to aid with special forgery. They were a tool of my race which was handed over to the fairy race during a time of peaceful trade, but that time eventually passed... It seems that those foolish fiends had mistaken it for thunder rods and used it to enact punishment...” Zyne said in a deep tone.

Feng Yu hearing his words then shook his head and looked towards the door before speaking, “How do we enter that room?”

“Leave that to me human brat!” Zyne said as he walked towards a tall pillar before the massive door and lifted his fist.

Bang! His powerful Half-True Soul realm aura emitting from his body as they shrouded the surroundings. Soon, his arms bulged to an even greater degree, filled with an endless amount of might.

“Break!” Zyne yelled as he punched his fist towards the strange metallic pillar as it created sharp whistles through the air.

Screech! Bang! After a loud boom, a large amount of light soon covered everyone in sight as the entire Prisoners Hall vibrated almost as if it had just suffered from a great earthquake. The prison guar
ds who were battling the fiends above carrying an anxious look on their faces as Pylan frowned while complaining.

“Damn! What’s going on below? Shit! We have to hurry!’ The battle above becoming even more intense as every one of the main guard army fought seriously.

Back below the floors, the scene that was covered by white lights was revealed.

A massive crack, one so big it could be called a gorge as it ripped opened the earth, the pillar that stood tall now non-existent leaving behind the hole in the ground. The odd metallic-like doors that once sealed off the path behind the base floor now vibrating strangely as it opened bit by bit.

Creeaakkkk! The door made a loud creaking noise as it opened, soon, it was opened to its full extent revealing its mysteries before all who gathered at the scene.

Zyne who had now recovered from his assaulted laughed as he spoke to Feng Yu, “Hahaha! They think that this divine door is impossible to be opened because of its durability which is mostly right, as one would have to know the rune code. However, this door can also be opened by simply breaking its controlling pillar...”

“Interesting...” Feng Yu said as he heard Zyne’s words, he looked at the scene before him with surprise as he moved forward and entered the room. Zyne who saw this motioned towards the natives while following along as he spoke, “Let’s go!”

Soon, the figures of Zyne and native army vanished behind the massive doorway entering an unknown domain...

  Chapter 108

Void Sight, Rescuing the Fairy Princess!

The scene within the room was an incredible one to behold, as stacks of rare, ancient weapons and equipment were neatly arranged and sealed within odd stones and placed at the different corners of this room. These weapons gave off different kinds of aura much stronger than those within the palace armory, one that gave one a feeling of doom if they were to be truly wielded.

At the remote corner of this room occupying a space by itself was a glowing hammer, it floated in the void undulating a strange power that could pull anyone close to it. However, this hammer was sealed, a barrier of a special kind energy surrounded its form causing the energies being felt to be only a tiny fraction of its true might.

It was a relatively large hammer, one with a golden handle of a strange metal and a large head made with an enchanted stone with odd carvings on its surface. The metal looked slightly rusted with stains that seemed to have been there for many years as its head was cracked at certain places giving the hammer a feeling of rich history and background.

Zyne who saw this hammer had a look of melancholy come over his face, he walked before the barrier and stretched out his hands before drawing out runes on the air. Soon, a counter seal spell was invoked which caused the barrier to fade away into nothingness.

The now free hammer falling into Zyne’s hands, as a weighted pressure spread out throughout the room.

“I've returned.... my Bright Hammer...” Zyne whispered as he looked at the hammer while in a state of recollection.

Feng Yu looking at this scene felt tempted, and he thought what his family could do with such weapons, but a voice soon dampened his excitement.

“These are ancient force weapons... built specifically for a certain breed of races. They can’t be used by your kind or rather, by those who do not have force energy...” Jing Mingyun said in a soft voice.

“Eh? Then why can I use this armor?” Feng Yu asked in confusion, hearing his words Jing Mingyun calmly replied, “Because these are different types of gears, modified for beings who could not use force energy...”

“Odd, you say force energy. Then doesn’t that mean that you are also using force energy, if that is so then why did I previously sense True Soul energies from you and Half-step True Soul energies from Zyne.” Feng Yu asked once again in confusion as he had no idea how this could be so.

Jing Mingyun hearing this remained silent for a moment before replying, “Our races are different; hence our methods of cultivations are also different, but the results are somewhat similar, at my current stage, my cultivation would be comparable or rather, was once comparable to that of True Soul realm expert. I was raised into your universe by essence energy which is why it took me extended periods of time for me to cultivate to my previous realm as my body had to convert those powers into force energy naturally. The downside of this was I would not be able to awaken my True State becoming able to use my full battle power... as for Zyne whose source had been absorbed by the ancient seals of those chains and stones... his current strength had fallen to a level like a lifeform of the Half-step True Soul realm, it will take many years for him to recover to his peak once again..”

Feng Yu hearing this shook his head as he spoke, “It seems that there is much I have yet to learn...” Quickly, clearing his thoughts, he continued to walk about the broad pathway. As he passed the various rooms, he would occasionally inspect some exotic weapons and contraptions held behind barrier screens.

Eventually, he arrived before a door which after opening led to new a room which seemed to have been the area for torturing and questioning. A long narrow pathway with a blue barrier covering each room or rather, torture chambers...

Some torture chambers had large stones that expanded out from the ground and ceilings with sharp edges. A few skeletons were placed on a few of these instruments with their well-aged clothing in ruins as their bones were broken or even missing certain parts of their bodies. They were firmly chained on to these mechanisms with their hands and feet absorbed into four of the protruding stones.

“They must have been tortured to their deaths... a truly savage way to die...” Feng Yu muttered to himself as he scanned the corpses and the skeletons, but as he continued to walk further, he started to notice something strange.

The scene being shown began to repeat itself, as if it was an endless loop, no matter how far or long he walked he would always see the same scene of the torture chambers the door behind him having long since vanished to who knows where.

“An Illusion Spell? It seems that this Fairy Princess has grown wary of your arrival here, or it could be that she had set this up to escape the next time a fiend entered this room. Let me help you once more...” Jing Mingyun said with a slightly surprised tone.

Feng Yu hearing her words thought for a moment before replying, “No... you’ve already used your strength to aid with the unsealing of the prisoners. If you use it again, it will only cause you to lose more of your source strength... you continue to rest I’ll handle it...”

Jing Mingyun hearing his reply felt great at heart she no longer responded but kept a small part of her spiritual senses alert to observe the area.

“Hmm, Yun’er said it was an Illusion Spell, right? Then there should be a type of formation core in the magic that created this scene. If so, then I can only use one Old Masters tricks...” As Feng Yu said this, he closed his eyes for a short while causing his aura change.

Buzz! A strange ripple started to undulate throughout this space, with an odd rhythm it pulsated causing the scene to shift back and forth between reality and non-reality. Jing Mingyun seeing this scene was stunned as she stuttered, “What... what? Ripples of a Dao Strand? How can one who has not confirmed his Dao use its strand? It must be a technique or is it the illusive Dao Spell? But if that’s the case... it can only mean that the one who created this technique was...”

As she was lost in her thoughts the scene before her underwent a significant change, Feng Yu’s otherworldly soul had begun to show its true prestige for the first time in this world.

The very gift that his talentless form had been blessed with in his previous life. He opened his eyes which became oddly transparent as a voice not belonging to him, but an ancient being resounded throughout the room.

“I am the eyes that sees the unseen... I am the vision that peers beyond all things visible... I am – Void Sight!”

Rumble! The room shook, as the scene shown before his eyes broke to pieces revea
ling the actual scene that was hidden underneath. After a short while, the brightly glowing lights from Feng Yu’s eyes faded as a look of fatigue come over his entirety.

“Haa... Haa... it seems that even though I’m an Aura Disciple and have a vast amount of energies beyond that of a normal 2 Tier True Foundation realm practitioner, I can barely perform this old technique which was only performable when I was previously at the Warrior realm. Although it could also be because my soul has become stronger after fusing with the soul of this world.” Feng Yu muttered to himself, as he panted for breath.

Jing Mingyun observed him in silence with a thick layer of surprise in her heart, her curiosity regarding his secrets couldn’t help but grow larger by a certain degree.

After a moment, Feng Yu then looked at the scene before his eyes. A large room, with no grand scene of any torture chambers but rather a single big torture mechanism at its center.

A small blue-eyed fairy was placed at its direct center with all of her limbs trapped within odd-looking stones that glowed in a strange light. She was rather different from common fairies, with glowing blue hair as her wings were of pure golden color along with the strange life like armor that was a part of her body like skin. An insignia of a crown was on her forehead, which proved her to be of the royal bloodline.

Currently, the eyes of this fairy were weak, as she looked at the human before her with wariness and unease as he had easily broken through her illusion spell that she was planning on using to counter any of the fiends who entered the room.

“You... you are human? How... how did you get in here?” The Fairy Princess asked in an exhausted tone, a confused look in her eyes.

Feng Yu was about to reply when the door opened. This time in a loud manner as Zyne walked inside with heavy steps.

Slam! Zyne having walked into the room as if he was waiting on this moment laughed as he saw the fairy, “Haha! Brat, how have you been all these years? How did you come to get yourself caught by these silly fiends? Is your mother no longer paying attention these days?”
