“You... how could you be free?!” The fairy princess said in shock as she didn’t expect his appearance.

Feng Yu looked at the two and decided to pick things up, “There is no time for questioning! I have freed the prisoners and have allied to escape this prison with the objective being one thing. To steal the Aqua Pearl, now you have two choices, join us or be left behind...”

The fairy princess hearing this became enraged as she spoke, “Human, while I don’t know how you got here an even managed to pull off such a feat you can forget about taking away our clans sacred artifact! What does a human like you have to be capable of using---?”

The fairy princess raged on with her words, but soon, her words came to a halt as a beautiful white-haired girl appeared giving off a divine aura as she spoke, “He is taking the pearl for my sake!”

Upon seeing this girl, the fairy princess became stunned, as fairies are creatures who were most in tune with nature regardless of their naturally endowed elements. They are capable of sensing things solely by their presence and auras, having seen Jing Mingyun in her childhood and seeing her current state she could easily infer all what she needs to know...

Soon, a silence filled their area as the fairy princess became quiet. She then looked towards Jing Mingyun and spoke, “This princess, understands... if the great one’s heir requires the pearl this one shall obey...”

“Good!” Jing Mingyun having said this, flew back into the wristband where she now rested once again a greater layer of exhaustion formed over the sleeping girls face. Feng Yu shook his head as he realized she had just utilized more of her source energy.

The Fairy Princess seeing this then looked towards Feng Yu with a deep look in her eyes and spoke, “I Myria Princess of Fairies comply to your request.”

“Good, let’s go!” Not bothering to let Feng Yu reply, Zyne lifted. his bright hammer placing it over his head. Soon, the hammer started to grow with the head becoming the size of a massive 10 meters boulder with its handle no longer than 2 meters.

Flash! A bright light shone from the hammer as he smashed it downwards on a mechanism before the torture devices.

BOOM! A massive bang rang out as the pillar was turned into power, the remaining energies scattered about the area wildly. Lucky for Feng Yu he had already turned into a steak of lighting that retreated to the room outside.

Bang! Thud! The sound of something colliding heavily with walls of the room sounded, as Myria was caught up in the shockwave after her arms and legs were freed from the stones.

She looked towards Zyne with a dense amount of fury in her eyes as she picked herself out from the impression made in the wall and circled about the air while flapping her wings furiously.

“Zyne... You---!” As she was about to unleash her wrath; the voice of Feng Yu could be heard from outside of the room.

“Let’s go, guys, we cannot linger here forever!” Feng Yu yelled as he rushed towards the outside of the room, Zyne who heard him smiled wearily as he took one step instantly arriving at Feng Yu’s position as Myria could only reign in on her anger flapping her wings causing her to catch up easily.

As they arrived outside of the room into the weapons hall, all of the natives who were previously half equipped were now correctly wearing their armor with fine gears. They looked like a well-trained elite army whose battles had already left countless legacies on these lands.

Feng Yu walked forwards to the group with Myria on his left and Zyne on his right looking like a well battle-hardened general whose seen many years of battle.

He spoke in a voice that echoed within the silent wall, “We march to the outside, where the real battle begins! With our own hands, we will earn our freedom!”

“Uaaaaaahhhhh!” The allied native army yelled in unison causing the room to vibrate, Feng Yu seeing this nodded as he took a step forwards causing his body to turn into a streak of lightning that appeared behind the army moving towards the door leading to the base floor.

The figures of Zyne and the fairy princess instantly appearing by his side as they walked towards the door, while he walked his eyes shone in bright light as spoke in the loud voice that resounded in the room even when all three forms vanished through the doorway, “Move out!”

The Battle Against Pylan’s Army, Prison Break!

Within the Prisoners Hall, on the first floor. A group of dominant looking guards now stood in a massive formation that seemed as if implying that none shall pass, blocking the broad path that leads to the surface of the central palace grounds. Clusters of fiend corpses scattered about the floor missing body parts, with multiple pieces of their bodies in ruin due to being pierced by sharp weapons or ripped through by bare hands.

Their blood staining the ground with its hue and scent the lingered in the air.

At the forefront, this well-equipped group was a tall fiend in decent armor surrounded by four powerful individuals each with energies of a peak Warrior realm experts.

His powerful Half-step True Soul realm energies were rippling throughout the area as he looked towards the broad stairway that leads to bottom floors at the edge of this vast hallways. He frowned as he spoke to one of the Warrior realm guards on his right, “You said, that they are now making their way out of the room, right? Where are they now?”

“Reporting to Guard Chief Pylan, their army has now reached the 3rd floor and will be here in less than a minute based on their speed,” The guard replied in a grave tone, as he eyes were closed while his hand held a strange eye.

“Good! All guards prepare for the final battle! The enemy is no more than 4000 troops along with those 100 hundred dangerous fellows from Death’s Floor, be at the ready!” Pylan’s loud voice echoing throughout the area into the ears of each fiend guard.

“Yes, sir!” The guards rippled together as their battle spirit rose to their peak.

“Even if we must die, we must delay them here as long as we can, at least until Kefalas returns from the outside or those elders repel the fairy clan. While they have most likely rescued the Fairy Princess and have someone as powerful as Zyne. Their strengths can't possibly be as it were in the past, those ancient god devourer chains and god binding stones aren’t for show...” Pylan thought to himself as his keen eyes kept focused on the stairs.

As he was lost in his thoughts, the scene before him began to show signs of change.

Piiii! A bright light, one so bright that nothing could be seen behind its luminance. This light slow revealed itself from the bottom stairways, as three silhouettes could be seen bathed by its rays.

A handsome golden-haired youth with multi-colored sparks of thunder dancing across the strands of his hair, while wisp-like flames flickered around his form slowly marched forwards. By his side was a short but muscular figure that wielded a long pole across his shoulders which connected to a massive block that was no smaller than a 10 meters boulder releasing an endless amount of bright lights.

The third figure was no bigger than a palm she flew at the other side flapping her wings gently as her eyes gleaming brilliantly.

  Step-step-step-step!

Soon, the silhouettes of 100 also mighty individuals appeared from behind the light’s covering. They were garbed in an ancient but powerful looking armor that gave off an aura of endless might.

Seeing his enemies appear, Pylan squinted his eyes as he lifted his hand and yelled at his guards behind him, “Readddyyy!”

Step! With the final step made by Feng Yu, followed by Zyne and the Myria who stopped moving forwards. All the prisoners and army members came to an abrupt stop as the blinding bright light faded away revealing the intimating hammer block as well as the well-equipped allied native army.

The room became silent, as a strange stillness filled the area, the ventilated winds from the upper surface which currently undergoing an intense battle wafting the scent of its bloody atmosphere through the halls of the first floor as it rustled the hairs of ev
eryone who stood in this face off.

Feng Yu stood calmly as his hair gently swayed around his form while he observed the figure who stood before him with a deep gaze, Pylan also returned the gaze for a short while, but soon his glowed in a dense murderous desire, he dropped his raised arm to the ground while commanding, “Kill them all!”

“Uuaaaaaaahh!” The army of fiend guards roared as they charged forwards with full momentum, rumbling the earth of this prison hall as they moved, some turned into streaks of lights while others turned into blurry remnant shades as they charged towards the enemies.

Feng Yu seeing also unsheathed both of his swords as he rushed forward like a blazing streak of lightning.

Shii-----nggg! His swords crying for blood the moment they left their sheaths as he twirled his body in the air transforming into a revolving streak of light that swept across all fiend guards within his reach.

Bang! Massive number of explosions followed as Zyne jumped into the air appearing directly before Pylan and the elite guards swinging his enormous hammer down violently.

Swooosh! The winds caught by his strike parting away due to the sheer pressure as the hammer smashed into Pylan who abruptly lifted his shield.

BOOOM! A massive shockwave soon blew away all who were within the area leaving behind only the airborne Zyne and grounded Pylan who had his shield above his head, the guards who stood beside him channeling a large number of energies to Pylan.

Zyne seeing that his opponent had been ok clicked his teeth as he spoke, “Heh! So, you’ve found a good shield from the old armory, but it won’t help you for long. I wonder, how long can you truly withstand my wrath?”

As he said this, his figure bounced into the air once more as he started to lift his hammer above his head, his arms firmly gripping it’s handle as they bulged causing a mighty pressure to spread out across the area due to the gathered power, he then descended once more, ready to pulverize Pylan.

Pylan sensing the danger exclaimed, “Shit! He’s too strong, how can he still have so much strength left even after losing his Battle Prestige? Damn! I need to avoid this!”

He ducked to the ground and made an effort to twist his body to the side looking like a rolling log that rolled towards a distant corner after being hit. Zyne’s revolving hammer strike smashed into the ground causing a new explosion that generated a massive shockwave in the area.

Bangggggg! All the charging fiends were once again sent into a state of disorder as they were swept away by the shockwave, but the charging allied army of natives remained unaffected. Their ancient armor glowing with a strange light that flickered every time Zyne made a move.

Feng Yu who was decimating his weaker matches of the Aura Disciple realm while cautiously battling against the True Foundation realm guards felt a great degree of respect for Zyne’s’ skills.

“Such an incredible figure... if the family could draft him then they would certainly be able to rise even if they didn’t get any equipment here...” he muttered to himself, but he cleared his thoughts and focused on the battle before him.

Myria seeing this snorted as she also finally made her move, “Hmph! That old brute still battling with no care in the world. I suppose he has changed his style a little. Now he’s using formations to prevent his wild battling mannerism from affecting those on his own side. It’s time to end this farce...”

Swish! Her body vanished moving like a blue droplet of water that swept across all of the fiends as she charged towards the still unrecovered Pylan who was blown away by the shockwave.

Pylan coughed out a mouth full of blood as he struggled to lift his head and roared, “I will not fall today, not like this, I Pylan have served as this prison Guard Chief for many years... if I am to die... then everyone goes with me!” He lifted his hand to the void as a blue orb appeared giving off a dangerous feeling preparing to unleash a hidden card that would wreak havoc.

Zyne who felt the auras within the pearl became serious for the first time as yelled, “Not good! That’s an Aqua Blast Orb, we cannot let him use it!” As he prepared to launch an assault once more, a bright blue light beamed passed his form as it instantly pierced through Pylan’s unsuspecting forehead soon after reforming into the figure of the Myria’s tiny figure.

Thud! Pylan’s now lifeless body fell to the ground with his blood spreading outwards with a damp smell, a feeling of despair to rose up amongst the surviving fiend guards as they saw this scene. However, Myria only swept her gaze over them indifferently before swiping her finger in the air.

  Swish-swish-swish!

Beams of blue water lights slashed across their forms turning each of the elite guards into corpses, after she accomplished this, she looked towards the now stunned Zyne and mocked, “Hmph! What’s all this flashiness? We don’t have time to waste remember! If you want to try and draw out more of the strength you’ve lost, then now isn’t the time...”

After she said this, she no longer looked at Zyne but flew towards Feng Yu’s side destroying all fiends who were in her path, Zyne shook his head as he muttered while following, “Hmph! Damn fairy brat thinks she can tell me what to do now that I’m weakened eh?”

After a short while, the prisoners managed to demolish all of the guard army, each of their equipment was stripped and handed over to Feng Yu as they were customized force armor similar to his own which could be useful for his clan members.

Once they were all cleaned up, the army organized themselves as they made their way onwards the surface of the Prisoners Hall, marching towards the brutal battle of the outside world.

It was a gloomy night tonight at the Dark Palace, the battles with the fairy army and fiends who were left behind was at a stalemate. The fairy commanders who assumed personal command were battling against the remaining elders who stood to watch over the Dark Palace.

Their blows generating strong ripples that pushed away all of the rain for many of kilometers, as the weaker lifeforms were turned into dust or meat paste. However, although the battle seemed disadvantageous to the dark palace. The ones who were now on the losing end were the fairies as more and more palace troops arrived on hand pressuring the fairy troops.

“We can’t continue like this, or we’ll end up having failed our objectives! Damn these elders setting up such an elaborate formation to protect the Prisoners Hall, will we not be able to save the princess...” The leader fairy thought to herself as she saw this scene before her eyes.

The elders from palace command who suppressed her and the other fairly leaders mocked as they noticed stare, “You may have caught us off guard for a while, but you have to remember, here is no longer your fairy palace. We fiends have already built on its foundation, our numbers here are endless and will only continue to grow while your troops will only continue to dwindle. Soon, we'll catch each and every one of you and have you each spill the secrets on your castles ancient technologies.”

“Humph! A foolish move, none of us would share... you Aqua Nymph fiends can forget about attaining the true powers belonging to Lifesource Water Sphere” the leader said in a snarl.

“Che! Enough, I will like to see if you can keep that look after I press you down under my instruments” one of the elders sharply retorted, he was about to command the groups to assault once more but soon there was a change.

Rumble! The barrier for the underground passage shook as the palace ground rumbled violently. Soon, a bright light shone from the underground passage all the way to outside causing a pillar of white to rise towards the heavens disappearing into the clouds.

Piiii! This light was dominant, as both, the barrier and clouds vanished as if the most powerful energies of the world had hit them. The light slowly receded to its source, leaving the wide gap in the cloudy sky that showed the bright, colorful stars of the night. Soon, the figures of two individuals could be seen standing at the outside of the underground passageway a Dwarfin and Fairy.

“Oh no! The... The Prisoners have....”
The elders seeing the two individuals yelled as their faces instantly sunk, as a deep feeling of restlessness arose within the hearts of all who stood there.

The Price of Carelessness, A Narrow Escape!

It was a scene of stillness as everyone in the palace grounds became silent, all of the battling fairies and fiends looked towards the destroyed underground passage of the central grounds with various expressions on their faces. The faces of the fiends were grim as those belonging to the fairies were filled with endless excitement. One of the excited fairy leaders who saw the clan princess yelled with joy.

“Our princess has escaped! Quickly, form up and protect the princess!” He yelled.

The dazed fairies who heard one of their leader’s words, quickly recovered their state of mind as they rushed towards the fairy princess to protect her completely ignoring the existence of Zyne who was vastly more prominent to the eyes of the fiends.

The Aqua Nymph fiend elders who were also dazed just recovered as they commanded the fiend guards, “Do not let them meet! Kill the enemies!”

“Kill!” The fiends eyes glowed red as their sinister nature was once more revealed, waves upon waves of guards rushed towards the fairies as well as the two individuals who stood at the prisons hall destroyed entrance.

As the large group was about to reach within Zyne and Myria’s range, a sneer couldn’t help but form on Zyne’s face as he lifted his big hands and pointed it forwards while yelling, “Allied Army attack!”

Shortly after his voice sounded, thousands of silhouettes soon after jumped out from the destroyed underground pathway turning into blurs and beams of light charged towards the assaulting finds.

Their collisions echoing across the vast palace grounds laying waste to all weaker combatants in the area. It was a good thing that most of the palace was made of ancient materials and despite the large amount of time that had passed did not lose too much of their durability, except for a few weaker structures. Hence, most of the palace was able to withstand the shockwaves and energies of Warrior realm expert’s and below.
