His figure then once more reformed from the lightning streak as he gracefully fell into the group once more, waving his hand releasing the two natives who promptly join up with the formation once more as they attacked and repelled any nearby Aracnians that managed to squeeze through the gaps of the formations.

“Argh---!” The voice of the natives who fell out of the formation soon resounded through the open space as they were quickly and efficiently wrapped into tenacious looking silk-like webs while a few of the Aracnians stuck fangs into them as they drank with joy in their eyes.

“Damn!” The group hearing this started to curse in anger, but they couldn’t do anything to save those who had fallen behind and could only continue to move forwards at a brisk pace through this never-ending swarm of Aracnians.

“Enough complaining, spend your efforts maintaining the formation!” Zyne said as he kept one hand in the air to hold the Bright Hammer and used his free hand to smash in the skulls of the weaker Aracnians. The stronger Rank 4 Aracnians who deliberately charged towards the stronger natives were repelled by his forcefully palm strike which although didn’t do any injury managed to give the group a bit of breathing ground and room to move.

As they moved, the fairies from above would rain down endless Aquatic Spells that pushed away and hindered the charge of the enemies, further easing the burden of the army who was constantly facing a direr situation.

Slowly, they continued to move through these hordes of enemies within this hardly visible battlefield covered mostly by the bloody mist which shrouded their forms along with the assaulting Aracnians. Soon, they vanished into its depths paving their way towards the center of this battlefield....

A Strange Scroll? The Eyes the Darkness!

It had been two days since the army entered the fabled Aracnian Pass, despite this time however, the world outside remained unchanged as the gloomy atmosphere filled with endless rain continued on.

Still, much different from the outside, the scene within the open field of the passageway had turned into a truly gruesome warzone.

Many new silk-like cocoons could be seen hanging from the ceilings as a few bloody holes were shown at different places, the blood that fell from this cocoon then dripped on top of the red floor creating a ripple in what seemed to be a sea of blood that spread out for a vast region.

A few broken body parts belonging to the different races and a few weaker Aracnians were scattered about the rocky floor soaking in the pools of blood that had yet to dry up due to its constant addition to this already old stream.

The bloody mist within the area growing even denser as the figures who were battling were no longer to be seen, leaving only the sounds of their chaotic battle occurring a good distance towards the center of this entire field. The rustling footsteps of many Aracnians moving towards the source at high speeds along with the clashing of metallic weapons and explosions caused by energies.

  Boom! Boom! Boom!

Following a sequence of explosions, a few fiery thunderous lights followed many other varying colored lights shone brightly inside of this dense bloody mist. After they faded the only light that remained was a single overwhelming bright light source that had eclipsed them all coming from a source that could not be stared at directly.

Looking through the dense blood mist, one would be able to see the bloody war scene that was currently in progress.

A large group of natives numbering in the thousands struggled to maintain a defensive formation while battling the endlessly charging Aracnians, their special equipment clashing with their enemies’ innate biological weapons of legs with sharp needle-like hairs and an almost impenetrable body.

As this group resisted the Aracnians, they slowly paved a path towards the location of the connecting passage, it was wide pathway at the edge of this space which led upwards away from this spacious section of the Aracnian Passage.

However, despite their formation and well-crafted equipment, a few of the less vigilant members of the group had turned into the Aracnian snacks, while the others that managed to repel their enemies had also gained injuries as many of them now had a few bloody wounds. Their eyes weary and tired as they constantly strived to repel the seemingly endless force of their enemies.

The fairies had also now had to avoid being attacked by the long-range web attacks from the smarter Aracnians who fired webs from the distances, no longer being able to spam endless Aquatic Spells in bulk to slow down their charging enemies.

Within the struggling army of natives, a golden-haired youth with colorful thunders snaking across his hair and balls of wisp-like flames that circled around his figure danced through the crowds a fast speed repelling any nearby enemies that managed to enter his path.

He moved like a bolt of lightning that reformed in front of nearby Aracnians striking his two swords out fiercely, upon colliding with the enemy the force would push them away for a few meters where they would flip themselves over and rush back towards their previous position.

After doing this, a few of the other Aracnians would swing their large legs towards the youth at immense speeds causing the youth to lean and sway from side to side as he narrowly dodged his enemies’ assault with no time to use his movement skill. While fluidly avoiding the attacks, he also would make sure to use his swords to parry any attacks that were close to the female that was on his back.

As he fought in this intense environment his would sweat trickle down his forehead, cheeks and then to his neck, while his face that was covered by a cyan masquerade-mask helmet that revealed only his golden eyes and lips would gleam due to his shifting movements.

The long white hair of the sickly beauty on his back dancing around his form filling his surroundings with her fragrance that wafted to his nose as he moved through the gaps of the tightly gathered unit, her arms were tightly wrapped around his neck while her legs were wrapped around his waist assuming the stance that said - no matter what happens I will not let go...

It’s only natural for women are emotional creatures, even a female dragon will have its moments of insecurity when the place that felt safest for them would not be a hidden realm but with the person who made them feel protected even if it is in a gruelling battlefield on the road before hell.

The battle continued, despite his speed a few of the enemy Aracnians were simply too powerful or even worse just as fast.

  Swoosh-swoosh-swoosh!

As if cutting through the wind itself, three Aracnians speedily charged through an open path that was blocked by stronger Aracnians who battled the stronger natives. They swiftly rushed towards the golden-haired youth with full strides utilizing the full potential of their eight legs causing their bodies to become hardy visible. In an instant, they surrounded the youth who was battling his enemies in a cautious manner.

The golden-haired youth whose every movement looked like a streak of passing thunder soon realized that he had been flanked by these three fast Aracnians, who upon surrounding him before his prior notice quickly assaulted him from three different directions with their even faster leg attacks.

Sensing the danger, the golden-haired youth quickly jumped and twirled himself in the air as he spoke to female on his back, “Hold on tight!”

“Un!” The female responded while increasing her already tight grip.

Swish-swish-swish! Like beams of white light, the legs of the Aracnians swept across the area where he once stood leaving no trails of their movements.

They continued swept their legs across the area at blinding speeds as Feng Yu revolved in a unique manner, barely avoiding the attacks inch by inch as his body twirled leaving behind remnant shades while his sword flashed about leaving being trailing white lights that protected the female on his back.

Puff-puff-puff! A few flesh wounds soon formed on the areas of his body not protected by the cyan armor, while a few white hair strands could be seen floating about in the air having been sliced off by the godl
y fast attacks.

Feng Yu dodging with all his might frowned as he saw this scene, he gathered all his power into his legs then used his sword to parry one of the blinding fast assaults that he could barely see with his powerful spiritual sense forcing himself to the ground.

Upon reaching the ground he then flipped himself over in a crouch-like position, with his head and back extremely low as he managed to avoid the continuous attacks that swiped above, his swords were placed around Jing Mingyun to protect her from any random assault while he pressed his feet against the ground launching himself into air like a rocket.

Bang! This jump caused the ground to fracture into spiderwebs that barely shook away the Aracnians who assaulted him with their blindingly fast-moving legs, quickly they started to become visible as they then placed them on the ground ending their attack. They looked at the airborne youth with a nasty look in their dark yellow eyes as they bend over and hoisted up their buts into the air aiming at his location.

“Damn! This again!” Feng Yu cursed as he saw his opponents next move, he then grabbed the handle of his two swords tightly while spreading his arms apart in the air looking like a bird at flight, his swords gleaming in a sharp light that soon after became suffused with his golden colored thunderblaze aura.

  Spuff-spuff-spuff!

Quickly, tree rays of white golden light shot towards his form which was still airborne at ultra-fast speeds almost giving him no time to react. As he saw this, Feng Yu who was already prepared then swung his swords out at speeds beyond his own limits as she yelled.

“Dual Extremity Path: Thunder Flash Phantom Swords!” Almost instantly, his form began to blur as multiple Feng Yu’s appeared and disappeared in the air each swinging their swords at the ray like webs that were shot towards him at high speeds.

However, these webs were not like the normal kinds as they were unable to be sliced apart by the swords, they wrapped around the swords firmly as the Aracnians revealed a sneering expression in eyes.

Swooosh! A powerful pulling force then dragged Feng Yu from the air at a speed even faster than his previous ascension, looking like a meter in full descend. Feng Yu realizing his mistake cursed in manner unbecoming of a protag----practitioner, “These M*ther F**king Aracnians!”

The three Aracnians who were ‘reeling-in’ their prey looked excited as if they finally sent out the right bait and won a surprise, but soon their faces changed.

“Aquatic Slicer!” A resonant and graceful voice said.

Pheww! Along with it came one thin thread of water that wiped across the space between the three Aracnians, the thread caused the speed of Feng Yu’s descent to become no different from ultra-slow motion. As it swept across the threads, it then swept across the figures of the three Aracnians who were still gazing at Feng Yu with a slight change of expression on their faces.

These threads then retracted back to a small figure that was quite a distance away from Feng Yu’s position battling against a few Rank 4 Aracnians with Zyne and elite natives of Death’s Floor.

Soon, the time returned to normal as Feng Yu’s wildly descending body had now become free due to Aracnian webs being sliced to pieces. The Aracnians who were before Feng Yu had died, becoming pieces of hashed meat diced into many different pieces.

Swoosh! With a sway of his body, Feng Yu once again appeared within the group formation as Myria’s voice reached his ears, “The webs of the Aracnians are even sturdier than their carapaces, only cut them if you are confident in your strength being many leagues above them...”

After her words faded, Feng Yu then took a deep breath while speaking to Jing Mingyun, “Yun’er, it seems you forget to mention about this?”

Jing Mingyun hearing his words replied in a matter of fact tone, “Well, I won’t know everything as I didn’t battle against them or any creature for that matter in those days and father... father only spoke about these creatures in a vague manner as they were what he called ‘Unworthy Animals’”

Feng Yu hearing her reply was lost for words, he then looked around the area and noticed that they had arrived at very central region as the exit to the passage leading upwards could now be vaguely noticed across the other side of the room.

Myria who was high above shouted towards the group as she saw the exit, “Keep moving forwards! The passage outside of this space is directly before us!”

“Uaaaaaaa!” The allied army having heard this felt a rush of energy rejuvenating their tired spirts as they battled fiercely with strengthened morale. The charging Aracnians now being pushed back.

Soon, a strange scene came into view.

An area where the mist seemed rather strange as it created a broad open section that was filled with pure darkness, the lights of an old looking scroll that floated in the area illuminating a small section of that broad open space devoid of any blood mist.

Feng Yu seeing this scroll felt strange, as it sent out a type of calling to his very soul. Not realizing it himself, he had detracted from the joint formation which was making its way towards the exit completely ignoring the floating scroll almost as if they didn’t even see it.

Jing Mingyun who noticed Feng Yu’s strange behavior instant acted by shouted and slapping his face with her hands. But to no avail Feng Yu continued forwards in this strange state, what remained odd however was that enraged and relentless charge Aracnians completely avoided Feng Yu as they chased after the group as if they didn’t see him.

Soon, Feng Yu arrived before the scroll and promptly stretched his hand out grasping it from out of the void. As he did this, he instantly awoke from his dull state of mind looking at the brightly glowing scroll that now rested in his palms.

Zyne who had just noticed Feng Yu’s disappearance from the group quickly scanned the surroundings, upon seeing Feng Yu standing in the crow of Aracnians he was about to call but his face sunk as he noticed something strange.

“YU BRAT! Runaway now!” He shouted with all his might.

As if hit by a jolt of lightning Feng Yu finally realized what had just occurred, Jing Mingyun’s tired but alarmed voice had also now finally reached his ears, “Brother Yu! We have to get out of here immediately! Run! Run! Run!”

“Right!” Feng Yu responded not bothering to try and figure out what was going on, his body transforming in a streak of thunder that beamed across the field skillfully maneuvering through the rampant Aracnians. A few of the faster ones managed to give him a few more bloody injures on the areas not protected by the armor.

However, at the area where he previously stood that large patch of darkness had started to change as a few massive red lights lit up out of the darkness, these lights were strange almost moist as they twitched and then blinked every now and then almost like eyes.

Yes, eyes. A set of sinister ones at that, they moved slightly and focused their gaze on their direction at the fleeing Feng Yu and the allied army as they narrowed with unparallel rage causing an aura to rise within this bloody world that will never be forgotten by all who pass here...

  Chapter 120

The Awakened Queen! Fleeing with All One’s Might!

The looming dark red eyes that took up a vast majority of the darkness gleamed with a brutal light, causing a heavy pressure to fall upon everyone caught within its sight including those belonging to its own kin.

Clusters of energies rose up which caused the space to shake as if welcoming the end, the bloody mist that previously shrouded all in sight soon started to retract towards this oddity hidden within the darkness that occupied a vast section of the central part of this wide space, as if it was taking in a deep breath a loud ‘sniffing’ sound could be heard.

Quickly, the bloody mist vanished and the Aracnians who had previously been charging towards the intruders had stopped in place and bowed their heads towards the being in unison as if it was a natural act, they did not even dare to move a step further or show the slightest amount of disrespect.

Feng Yu upon feeling the c
hange behind him picked up his pace, as he looked behind him Feng Yu saw the second most terrifying thing, he had ever encountered in his entire two lives.

A ferocious being, one that looked so brutal it would put any creature, fierce monster, or battalion of fierce monsters to shame. This creature had transcended, reaching a new category of sinister in itself. One that cannot be described with common words but simply silence, an awe filled silence that would serve not as an act of disgust or fear but rather, an act of respect to this type of ferocity.

Feng Yu was so shocked and became so afraid, that the movements of which should have been going faster couldn’t help but slow down as he gazed at the towering form behind him with new found awe.

His new noble bloodline started to pulsate within his being as if it disdained to do such a human-like act, it instantly awakened him from this state of mind allowing him to recover his clarity as he now curiously stared at the being behind while moving forwards at lightning speeds.

Jing Mingyun who was on his back had a similar nature as she didn’t feel shock, but rather an indifference to the being and a slight amount of fear due to their current differences in power.

The creature behind with its rising aura had now fully been revealed. An Aracnian, seemingly no different from its kind, but it was vastly superior, its body grew to the limits of the space’s rocky ceiling that was already about 150 meters in height as its width was approaching 3oo meters. It had longer and sturdier looking legs that would require a team of at least 8 men to wrap their hands around them, with sharp and long needle-like furry scarlet hair that spread across their surface.

Its entire body was colored with a scarlet-golden stripe pattern as its carapace had a large golden crown on its surface that glowed in a mysterious light, its needle-like hair also grew around these parts making its entire body seemed to as if it was wearing an unusual kind of savage armor.
