Music City Dreamers

“I have no intention of leaving you anywhere on your own.” Heather moved her hand firmly toward Louie’s open legs.

Louie took a short breath when Heather’s fingers slid over her clit and into the wetness she’d created. Heather pushed inside her, softly at first, as if unsure. Louie closed her eyes and sank into the pillow, eager for her to continue. “Please…” she murmured. “I want this. I want you.”

Heather pressed her fingers deep and hard, and Louie gripped the leather of her belt as she cried out. The feeling of someone inside her was so unfamiliar and yet exactly what she craved. She opened her eyes to see Heather looking at her intently, perhaps needing reassurance, and Louie lifted her head. “Please kiss me.”

Heather’s steady rhythm continued as she leaned down and did as Louie asked. A hundred birds took flight beneath Louie’s body as Heather’s intense kiss took her beyond the physical connection of their sex and into something far more tender, far more intimate. She felt Heather’s hand around the back of her neck and her body tingled in response as Heather raked her nails along Louie’s hairline. The sensation traversed Louie’s body into her core, and she lifted her ass toward Heather, wanting her to drive deeper.

Heather briefly separated her lips from Louie’s. “What do you want?” she asked, and her eyes seemed to search Louie’s expression for approval.

“Harder…” Louie’s instruction sounded more like a plea. She was desperate for Heather’s touch, for her kiss, for her everything. Heather looked shy as she smiled and complied with Louie’s request. Louie lifted her ass off the bed and synched her thrusting hips to Heather’s pace. The throbbing and pulsing of her pussy became all consuming. All sense of the rest of her body fell away, and all Louie could feel was Heather’s mouth on hers and her fingers deep inside. Heather wrapped her fingers around Louie’s hair and held her tight as Louie bucked her hips to meet Heather’s force. The sense of freedom in the restriction and lack of control was entrancing, and Louie succumbed to Heather’s power willingly. She felt her release nearing and focused on the beautiful woman taking her—all of her. The promise of love, acceptance, and desire swam in Heather’s eyes, and Louie tumbled over the precipice of her orgasm into a warmth of love.

Louie shuddered and shook. The intensity of everything had taken her by surprise. Heather slowly withdrew before she reached up and released Louie’s wrists. Louie enfolded Heather in her arms and kissed her.

“You’re amazing,” she whispered, still out of breath from her orgasms.

Heather smiled and looked up at her. “You are.”

She held Heather tightly and they lay quietly. Louie didn’t want to let go just yet. She felt the burn of tears well behind her eyes and blinked them away. Heather would think she was a total softie if she let her tears fall as well as her walls.

Louie kissed the top of Heather’s head. “You want to fill me in on what’s going on with you now that you’ve had your wicked way with me?”

Heather shifted so that she could see Louie’s face. “The short version, sure. They offered me Donny’s job, and all I could see was me getting too comfortable in the corporate closet. All I could hear was you saying that I should be true to myself.” Heather traced her fingers over Louie’s nipples. “I told her I couldn’t take the job and I left.”

Louie laughed gently. “Wow. So what happens now?”

Heather kissed Louie’s shoulder. “I find investors and I start my label earlier than planned, with Gabe as my first signing if he’ll come to me.”

“I’m sure he would.” Louie ran her hand across Heather’s cheek. She wanted to share Heather’s dream. An independent label focused on the artists traditional Nashville simply wasn’t interested in. The “others.” And with the royalties that would pour in from Savana’s album, Louie’s life was looking pretty much perfect.

“What if I invested and got you started? I could write songs for you as well as for Hawthorne.” Louie looked up at the ceiling, glad that Heather couldn’t see her face right now. “Would you share your dream with me?”

Heather bounced up and straddled Louie’s stomach. The heat from her pussy almost drove her to forget what they were talking about.

  “I would love that, Louie.”

Louie scratched her head and tried to cover her face with her hand. The intense vulnerability of baring her heart was far more courageous than she’d ever had to be baring her body. She took a breath and decided to put it all out there. Rip off the Band-Aid. “And what happens with us?”

“I want to make our pieces fit, Louie. I want to put my life jigsaw together with you in it. What about you? What do you want?”

Louie smiled at Heather’s play on the words Louie had used just over a week ago when she thought there was little hope of them ever being together.

“I want to fade into you. I want us to come alive in each other’s lives, to be better together than we could ever be alone.” Louie slipped her hand into Heather’s hair and gently ran her fingers through it. “I want to be your world because I think you’re going to be my everything.”

Heather snuggled in a little tighter. “I want that too.”

Louie smiled. “Our song will be the greatest love song I could ever write.” She tracked her fingers over Heather’s hips and tentatively parted Heather’s legs. “Now can I touch you?”
