SUDDEN TWIST

“Its a house actually,” Natasha corrected him.
“No this is a mansion some would call this a palace too,” Mathew insisted.
“Its too small to be called a mansion, its not even half the size of my house actually,” she said casually.
“What the hell!” Mathew thought shocked “just how big is her house anyway?” he wondered.
“How…. how big is your house?” Mathew asked carefully.
“Hey do you want something to eat?” she asked avoiding his question and rushed to the kitchen and began digging the fridge for something.
“She avoided my question interesting!” Mathew was intrigued.
He went into the kitchen and was given another rude shock.
“What in the gods name is this?” he asked outraged.
“What?” Natasha asked looking around.
“This is a kitchen for heavens sake not a storage place,” he was outraged to see it being used as a storage room, as a cook he respected the kitchen area.
“Well we don’t cook so—” Natasha said stopping halfway through the sentence.
“So you are gonna clean it up,” he continued her sentence.
And on Mathew’s insistence he made Natasha clean it up and together they spent the evening arranging everything luckily it was Saturday so they had plenty of time.
Mathew even cooked a meal for Natasha and himself.
“See? That’s why I wanted you to stay here for few days, I love your cooking!” she said gleefully gobbling down her delicious meal.
“How come you never learned to cook? Don’t most women love cooking?” he asked her.
“Who said women must love cooking! In fact I hate it, we modern women never cook,” she declared gloriously.
“Everyone must learn to cook doesn’t matter whether your a man or women, modern or old,” Mathew advised her “you can save a lot if you learn to cook,” he added.
“Well I don’t have money problems besides we have a chef who does the cooking,” she told him.
“Really now?” Mathew said placing his spoon down and folded his hands placing them on the table.
“Can you wash your clothes?” he poked her for more answers.
“No we have servants for that,” she said with food in her mouth.
“Don’t you have servants for that?” she asked him.
“Well we do have servants for cleaning the house 2 in fact,” Mathew lied to her.
“Really we have 20 of them!” she said feeling more at ease.
“You know what? I lied to you, we don’t have servants in fact most of us don’t have servants except those who are really rich,” Mathew said suddenly.
Natasha froze right there spoon in her mouth.
“Tell me your friend Sakshi does she live in your house?” Mathew asked her not shifting his gaze.
“Hmmm….how did you know?” Natasha asked shocked.
“Do you know why she left for a few days without you?” Mathew asked her ignoring her question.
“She…she….and to attend a cousins wedding?” Natasha said doubtfully.
“That’s not what she told me,” Mathew replied.
“Then…then what did she tell you?” Natasha asked him.
“She told me that your father had called her back wanting to know why he was hearing rumours and news reports that two girls and a two guys belonging to St Xavier’s college were involved in a scuffle at a nearby restaurant,” Mathew told her.
“Then why did she lie to me?” she asked surprised.
“Because she didn’t want you to come along and make matters worst, you are a terrible lair after all,” Mathew said.
“She was really angry yesterday she blamed me for the mess and even threatened to skin me alive if I did something stupid while she was gone,” Mathew added.
“She knew you would insist on coming with her and then you would admit to your father that it was all your fault,” Mathew explained.
“So to prevent you from doing something that stupid she lied to you simple,” Mathew continued.
“But…..but it was my fault! I was the one who told you to help Sachin,” Natasha insisted.
“Do you think your father would listen? He will blame Sakshi for not taking proper care of you,” Mathew said.
“I guess so,” Natasha said looking at her empty plate.
“I really thought it was weird Sakshi says you are her best friend but yet you are nothing like her, she curses so much yet you don’t, its like she was careful not to influence you too much,” Mathew said closing his eyes in deep thought.
“She is my dad’s personal assistant’s daughter,” she said finally.
“I see….so who is you dad?” he asked finally taking a sip of his soup he was at ease now.
“Cornello Rodriguez” she said.
“Your kidding!” he said coughing.
Natasha nodded “Chairman of floodgate industries”.
“I know who he is! Who doesn’t?” Mathew yelled. “Wait so he is the same guy that build most of our countries dams back in the day?” Mathew asked and she nodded.
“And then started acquiring almost every company he could swallow and bring down those that he couldn’t?” he asked her and she shrugged.
“He is the most ruthless businessman out there,” Mathew said.
“I don’t know but Sakshi did tell me he was a taskmaster,” Natasha said.
“Of course he is, how else can he be a multi billionaire in such a short time,” he told her.
“So……I am sitting in front of the daughter of India’s richest man?” he asked in disbelief.
And again Natasha nodded.
Mathew covered his face with his palms and stopped talking altogether.
After a long pause he got up, leaned towards her and finally asked her “Okay! Time to come clean! What else have you not told me?”
“Hmm....oh ya” she said after thinking for a while.
“What?” Mathew asked annoyed.
“St Xavier college…..my dad built it!” she said.
Mathew collapsed back into his seat “Please don’t tell me he owns the local newspaper too,” he said rubbing his forehead not knowing what else to believe.
“Actually he does, he even owns 2 national newspapers too, the—” she started.
“No wonder he knew about our recent restaurant scuffle,” Mathew interrupted her.
“Maybe,” Natasha said unsure.
“So why here?” he asked her vaguely.
“Here what?” Natasha asked not fully understanding what he meant.
“Why did you come to this college? I mean you could go anywhere to study so why here of all places?” Mathew asked her.
“Well you see my dad what’s me to grow up normally like a normal person,” Natasha said.
“And what normal are you talking about exactly?” Mathew asked her.
“You know the normal normal where people live in small houses and eat simple food so and so,” she said folding her arms and shrugging nervously.
“You mean….like an average middle class family?” Mathew enquired.
“Ya that,” Natasha said looking above and side ways trying to avoid his eyes.
He leaned back on his chair “Oh wow! Your dad must have really lost his screws,” he said finally.
It was the one thing both Natasha and Mathew both agreed on he really did lose his screws.
“By the way didn’t I tell you I was rich?” Natasha asked him remembering.
“Your not rich, your super rich how the hell was I supposed to know that!” Mathew said.
“Wait so….you though I was some small time businessman’s daughter?” Natasha asked amused.
“I though your dad was a trader,” Mathew said scratching his head.
And Natasha just couldn’t stop laughing.
Bad Habits
“I am so tired,” Mathew said.
“C’mon we have so much to talk about,” Natasha insisted.

sp; “Really?” Mathew asked raising an eyebrow.
“You know, now that I told you all my secrets I feel at ease,” Natasha told him.
“Hmm guilty lairs feel that way,” Mathew said nodding.
“Well I did not lie I just—” Natasha searched for an appropriate word “Avoided the truth?” Mathew finished her sentence.
“Ya that’s right I just avoided telling you the truth that’s all,” Natasha said in approval.
“Well good night then,” Mathew said getting up he was in no mood to stay awake any longer.
“Don’t you sleep late most nights?” Natasha said hoping to hold him back.
“That was long time ago now I don’t do night jobs all thanks to you,” Mathew said.
“Can we sleep together?” Natasha asked him.
“Are you out of your mind? You are lucky I even agreed to come!” Mathew scolded her.
“Just for tonight,” Natasha insisted.
“Why cant you just sleep alone stop being a baby,” Mathew said irritated.
“Pleaseee! i…i….i feel scared sleeping alone,” she said hesitatingly.
“Really! How come you are feeling scared tonight how about all those other days whom do you sleep with then?” he asked her.
“With Sakshi of course!” Natasha informed him.
“Wait so you have two beds here and yet you two sleep together?” he asked surprised and she nodded.
“Wow!” he thought.
“Don’t you sleep with your friends?” she asked him.
“Not in the same bed no way!” he said laughing in disbelief.
“You should try it its fun,” she said smiling.
“Do I look like a gay to you?” he wanted to yell at her, but instead he said “maybe next time”.
“At least sleep in my room,” she begged him.
“And if I refuse are you gonna blackmail me again?” Mathew asked not looking very enthusiastic about resisting.
“I might……now be a good boy and come here,” Natasha urged him towards her room.
“I am sleeping on the floor,” he said.
“As you wish,” Natasha said and she went to change into her night gown.
“I can’t believe I am doing this,” Mathew thought to himself as he spread the mat and prepared to sleep.
“By the way how did you build all that muscle?” Natasha asked when she lay on her bed, Mathew who barely shut his eyes a few minutes was woken up.
“I go to the gym,” he said and went back to sleep.
“Maybe I should hit the gym too,” Natasha said.
“Do you wanna sleep on my bed? Its big and cosy,” she asked him.
“I like the floor,” he said yawning.
“Okay,” she said.
“Do you think I am a bit flabby?” she asked him after a while.
“Mathew?” she asked again when he didn’t answer.
“Bloody hell!” Mathew yelled and got into her bed.
There was a giant teddy bear next to Natasha he took it and threw it to the floor. It was a large double bed for two.
“Happy? Now shut up and sleep!” Mathew growled.
This time she remained silent.
Mathews quest for a sound sleep however was yet to be achieved. In the middle of the night he was woken up again by Natasha.
“What now?” he asked in a sleepy voice but got no response.
Suddenly Natasha’s hand wrapped around his neck and one of her legs was on top of Mathew’s stomach, he tried to push her away but she cuddled him instead moving her head below his chin.
Natasha’s leg began to move a bit as he struggled to free himself and her leg rubbed against his groin.
“Never imagined she could turn me on,” Mathew thought laughing in his head.
His erection was making him uneasy just then he saw the giant bear on the floor. He threw it down while he went to sleep now looking at it he realized why it was there in the first place.
He grabbed it by the tip of his fingers and pushed it between himself and Natasha. Natasha grabbed it and cuddled the teddy bear in her sleep mumbling something.
“Finally I can sleep now,” he thought and went to sleep.
It was morning 10:00 am, Mathew had just opened his eyes but wished he could sleep just a little bit more. He turned towards Natasha the teddy bear was between her thighs. He looked up at her and kept staring at her chest he didn’t know why, half asleep he was not thinking straight perhaps, he kept staring at her chest for minutes until he realized that Natasha gown had slipped from her left shoulder exposing her bosom. He could even see her nipple so he decided to pull up her gown to cover them. As he raised his hand to do so Natasha’s hands began to move and pulled up the gown to cover her chests. He looked up and saw Natasha staring at him with wide eyes she almost looked frightened. She pulled up the teddy bear from below towards her chest defensively using it as a shield to protect herself from what she thought were is frighting hands.
“Ah…your dress had fallen….off…I just tried to cover them that’s all,” he said trying to clear the misunderstanding.
She didn’t say anything but just nodded.
“Good morning by the way,” he said but she had already got up from her bed.
He got up too he still felt sleepy though.
“Its late,” Natasha said “I’m gonna take a shower we’ll leave after an hour,” and took to the shower but stopped suddenly, she turned around towards Mathew and said “Don’t peek”.
Mathew looked around and saw a broom nearby he took it “Here! In case I peek,” he said handing it over to Natasha.
“I am very good at this,” she said swinging it and went to the shower smiling.
“Sakshi your were right I am a perv,” Mathew said to himself smiling.
The next 3 days passed on quickly, as for Natasha she found another classmate to sleep with her after what happened that day she was too scared to spend another night with Mathew.
Fracture Vijay
“Surprise!” Sakshi yelled from behind Natasha and Mathew as they were eating lunch in the canteen.
“Sakshi!” squeaked Natasha “Oh I missed you! Come here let me give you a hug,” said Natasha as she tried to grab Sakshi.
“W…w…w….wait your hands!” Sakshi said dodging her.
“Oh sorry my bad,” Natasha said as she ran off to wash them.
“So how’s your vacation?” Mathew asked busy eating.
“Hmm I wouldn’t call it vacation, but I managed to wriggle free from her dads endless interrogation,” she said tasting some of Natasha’s food.
“Well three cheers then for becoming a professional lair,” Mathew said raising his glass of water.
Sakshi made a face “I am not proud of it,” she said taking a seat.
“Some day you will,” Mathew replied.
“By the way anything interesting happened while I was gone?” Sakshi asked.
“N…not much,” Mathew said nervously.
“I heard she got a roommate,” Sakshi continued.
“Ya someone from arts class,” Mathew replied.
“Oh cool,” Sakshi said.
Natasha joined them soon enough. Of course she hugged Sakshi first thing.
“Okay okay your crushing me,” Sakshi said in a hoarse voice.
“Sakshi I am disappointed with you,” Natasha said suddenly.
“In me?” Sakshi asked pointing a finger at herself.
“My dad summoned you right?” Natasha inquired.
Sakshi gave Mathew an angry look.
“I swear it wasn’t me!” Mathew raising his hands defensively.
“You were the only one who knew about it,” Sakshi growled.
“Look it doesn’t matter, why didn’t you just tell me the truth?” Natasha asked.
“I didn’t want you to worry about me that’s all,” Sakshi said smiling.
“You don’t trust me do you?” Natasha asked.
“Of course I do its just….I knew wha
t you would—” Sakshi replied.
“So you lied instead,” Natasha interjected and Sakshi nodded.
“He must be really strict,” Mathew said.
“You have no idea,” Sakshi said rolling her eyes.
“Hey Natasha tell me are all billionaire dad’s like that?” Mathew asked.
Natasha didn’t answer but just smiled looking side ways at Sakshi.
“You told him?” Sakshi asked with a serious face.
“Well he kind of found out,” Natasha said.
“I told you to be careful didn’t I?” Sakshi said glaring at her.
“Well it was late night and I was sleepy,” Natasha lied.
Mathew did a facepalm. “If you lie do it properly dummy, now we are both screwed,” he thought.
“Late night?” Sakshi asked with wide eyes.
“We….we didn’t do anything…I mean….I mean he didn’t touch me or anything,” Natasha began fumbling.
“I better run,” Mathew thought as he tried to get up from his seat.
Problem with Natasha was as they both already knew was that she was a terrible lair, it was one of the main reason why Sakshi didn’t want her to come along to meet her father.
In her several failed attempts at lying Sakshi found that Natasha usually fumbled out the truth rather than lies.
“Touch you! Where?” Sakshi roared.
“My chest…..he almost did but I stopped him,” Natasha said as she crossed her arms across her bosoms remembering the incident.
“You poor thing,” Sakshi said then looking at Mathew she said “Why you!” she slid her hand inside the hand bag and took out a taser and a pepper spray.
“Shit!” Mathew said and began to flee with Sakshi chasing after him shouting “Get back here!”.
After that Mathew had gone into hiding for 3 days until Natasha managed to convince Sakshi that he was not a threat.
Even though Natasha acted cheerful she still could not forget Sachin, at first she would cry a lot even at the mention of his name but as time passed by she learned to deal with the pain.
Things however took an unexpected turn when she bumped into him one fine morning.
