“I am the same demon from the valley of Green Highlands that you declared was trying to evolve into an Oblivion Demon,” Isa said in a jokey manner.

Liam’s expression drastically changed, but he was quickly filled in on the details by Nox that he’d missed out on while fighting the Oblivion Demon. Liam gave Isa a bow and said, “I apologize for my misinterpretation.”

“There is no need,” Isa said as he looked at Rashmi and Noah.

“I will be returning to the valley at Green Highlands to continue my Cultivation,” Isa said with a smile.

“Grandpa, can I visit you?” Noah asked.

“Yes,” Isa said as he took off a necklace from his neck, that had at least one hundred beads in it.

“Keep this with you at all times. No Immortal Realm being will ever be able to endanger your life,” Isa said as he made the necklace fly onto Noah’s neck. Noah looked at the necklace with an excited expression, though it was a bit oversized for him, but he was OK with that.

Everyone was studying the necklace with great curiosity – especially the other Demon Ghosts. They had been quietly stealing glances at Isa for quite some time, particularly his necklaces. Isa was aware of that but wanted them to initiate the conversation. They wanted to talk to Isa but didn’t have the guts to do so.

The oddest thing was that the necklaces didn’t have any kind of energy or aura, because of which all the Demon Ghosts and other demons had assumed that they were just simple jewelry. Their perceptions changed after hearing Isa tell Noah that it would protect him from even the strongest Immortal beings.

“Senior, are these necklaces intrinsic to Demon Ghosts?” a Demon Ghost with a Cultivation Level of Early Immortal King Realm asked with extreme respect. He had about a few hundred Undead creatures around him.

“So, someone amongst you finally has the guts to talk to me!” Isa said with a smile.

“It’s not like that Senior. We had no idea how to approach you,” a Demon Ghost with Cultivation Level of Late Immortal Saint Realm said with extreme respect.

“There is no need to be scared of me. Ask me as many questions as you wish,” Isa said with an encouraging smile, which made the Demon Ghosts a lot more comfortable.

“This necklace is something that I created with an Innate Ability of our species,” Isa said as beads of the necklace around Noah’s neck started to shine and turned into Undead creatures one by one.

“You will gain this Innate Ability if you are able to increase your bloodline purity to High-grade,” Isa added with a smile. All the Undead creatures had shocking Red auras which made everyone right from Demon Ghosts to faction leaders suck in cold air. None of them had the confidence that they could defeat even one of the Undead creatures single-handedly.

Noah was looking at the Undead creatures with bright eyes especially a Bone tiger. Bone tigers are Undead creatures that are born after the death of a powerful Tiger-type Elemental Beast.

“Grandpa, can I ride it?” Noah asked impatiently as he pointed at the Bone tiger. His thought process was completely different from that of all the other demons present, who’d been thinking about how formidable the Undead creatures were.

“Yes!” Isa said with a laugh. Noah flew towards the Bone tiger and sat on it.

“Roar!” the Bone tiger issued a roar as he started to run in the air at high speed in the direction opposite to Nine Demon Forest. The other Undead creatures followed him. They were all heading towards the Heavenly Demon City under Isa’s control.

“Hehehe!” Noah laughed, as he enjoyed the ride on the Bone tiger.

Smiles appeared on the faces of the demons from Twilight Demon Kingdom. They couldn’t help but sigh with relief on knowing that Noah would have the protection of so many powerful Undead creatures.

Isa then continued to chat with the Demon Ghosts and Rashmi. The other demons were not that interested in talking to him, but Isa wasn’t bothered about that at all and just ignored them. He also promised the Demon Ghosts that he would take part in the Demon Ghost Festival that was going to take place in a few months.

“Rashmi, tell your mother that I will be coming to meet her soon,” Isa said as his expression suddenly changed.

He’d just received information from his puppets that a few of the youngsters from the Main branch of Calamity Sect along with some Elders of the Grandura branch of Calamity Sect would be heading for Dragon Head Continent sometime soon. They would take part in the auction being organized by the Celestial Auction House.

The Celestial Auction House is a very powerful faction of the Divine Universe which has branches spread over innumerable High-grade Worlds. They never get into power struggles with any of the local powers. Their only intention is to spread their branches across numerous High-grade Worlds so they can recruit faithful followers and collect rare Heavenly Treasures and send them back to their Main branch. They hold auctions every hundred years to discard any Heavenly Treasures that aren’t of much use to them. The money that they earn from these auctions is used by them to procure more Heavenly Treasures. Their auction provides a big opportunity for every Grandura faction, except for the demon factions and devil factions. So, it is natural that every faction sends representatives.

The youngsters from the Main branches of the Calamity Sect could not leave Grandura until and unless they’d condensed Celestial runes after reaching Late Immortal Saint Realm, so they had no choice but to collect the best Cultivation resources for themselves so they could quickly increase their Cultivation Levels. So, Isa didn’t find it odd that they were going to participate in Celestial auction house’s auction.

“Father, are you leaving?” Rashmi asked with urgency. She didn’t want Isa to leave after finally meeting him.

“I need to execute a task for my Master,” Isa said with a determined look.

Isa’s words shocked everyone, as they were unable to fathom why someone like Isa would become someone’s servant – and Rashmi was no different.

“Just who is his Master?” everyone couldn’t help but think.

Isa opened a Teleportation portal and disappeared into it. Rashmi and the rest of the demons had mixed feeling at that moment when they saw him leave.

Soon all the demons started to leave for their respective factions, as the problem of the Oblivion Demon was over. Those factions that had their Main branches in the Divine Universe also had to prepare to receive the members of their Main branch that were coming to get rid of the already dead Oblivion Demon. They could do nothing about that, because the reinforcements sent by those Main branches would already be on Grandura, by the time their Mental-message transmission regarding Isa’s killing of the Oblivion Demon reached their respective Main branches.

They had decided to leave the matter of Isa to the members of their Main branches that would be coming to Grandura in a few days. The information regarding Isa started to quickly spread around the Demon Continent – which also increased the reputation of Demon Ghosts to a whole new level.

Isa exited from the Teleportation portal that had opened about a hundred kilometers from his destination of Sunshine City. The Grandura branch of the Celestial Auction House was established inside that city. He had deliberately teleported that far from his destination as he wished to reach his destination undetected. If he’d opened the portal anywhere near Sunshine City, there was a chance that someone might see him coming out of it. It would create a lot of trouble for him later, if news were to spread that a Demon Ghost was seen near Sunshine City, seeing as he was thinking of using his Undead creatures to kidnap the youngsters from the Main branch of the Calamity Sect.

Isa immediately started to fly in the direction of Sunshine City. His body started to shine with black light and then he became invisible and lost presence but, none the less, he continued moving at a terrifying speed. On his way there he decided to contact Ryan to inform him about his intentions.

“Master, some of the youngsters from the Main branch of Calamity Sect are heading to Dragon Hea
d Continent,” Isa quickly sent a Mental-message transmission.

Ryan who was busy advancing his Death Fire Dual Attribute Soul Cores to Early King Realm was startled by Isa’s Mental-message transmission.

“Why are they going there?” Ryan asked in a perplexed manner, as he knew that those youngsters wouldn’t leave the Grandura branch of Calamity Sect for a small reason.

“They are heading for Sunshine City,” Isa replied in a respectful tone via Mental-message transmission.

Ryan was immediately able to understand everything. He’d heard a lot from his Grandfather, Oscar, and others about the auctions held by Celestial Auction House every hundred years.

“I am setting up an ambush in the Exclusive zone of Celestial Auction House to kidnap a few youngsters from the Main branch of Calamity Sect,” Isa added further via Mental-message transmission, which made a smile appear on Ryan’s face as he could understand Isa’s thought process.

The five hundred square kilometer area surrounding Sunshine City was covered in a special barrier and the area was called the Exclusive zone of the Celestial Auction House. The barrier was quite special and made sure that beings beyond Immortal Realm couldn’t enter it. It didn’t allow any Teleportation portal to open inside the Exclusive zone either. Clearly the artifact used to set this barrier was not a normal one and was most likely made by beings with Cultivation Levels above God Realm, otherwise all the factions of Grandura would have similar barriers protecting them too. The barrier made it extremely difficult for any faction to attack Sunshine City, which was the wealthiest city of Grandura. Its wealth was equivalent to the combined wealth of all the other factions on Grandura, so it was natural that Sunshine City would have excessive security measures to protect against anyone with bad intentions.

The youngsters from the Main branch of Calamity Sect would lose the protection of Martial Artists that had Cultivation Levels beyond the Immortal Realm after entering the Exclusive zone. That would allow Isa to kidnap them with the help of his Undead creatures with extreme ease. This was the reason Isa wanted to avoid being seen outside the Exclusive zone.

The Celestial Auction House had never intervened in any kind of situation that developed within the Exclusive zone. Generally, a blood-bath occurred inside the Exclusive zone after every auction, when individuals were robbed of the treasures that they’d acquired in the auction.

“Go ahead with your plan but kidnap them after the auction. There is no need to force yourself, as I am sure they will have powerful Divine Artifacts protecting their lives. If you are unable to kidnap them or harm them at all, then just retreat,” Ryan said via Mental-message transmission with a grave expression. Isa nodded his head as he readily agreed with Ryan’s proposal.

Isa then told Ryan about his new-found descendants, his love story from ten thousand years ago and his killing of an Oblivion Demon.

“You should seize this moment and finish your incomplete love story,” Ryan said via Mental-message transmission in an encouraging manner. He was extremely happy for Isa that he was able to meet his daughter and grandson.

“Yes, Master,” Isa said via Mental-message transmission.

“If you can, just create your own faction on Grandura and ask her and your sons to join you,” Ryan suggested via Mental-message transmission.

Isa’s eyes started to shine brightly on hearing Ryan’s suggestion. He really liked that idea.

“Master, I will try to do that,” Isa said happily via Mental-message transmission, which made another smile appear on Ryan’s face. He could tell Isa’s mental state by the connection between them.

Isa and Ryan talked for some time before their discussion ended. Ryan then returned to advancing his Death Fire Dual Attribute Soul Cores in the black side of his Soul World to Early Mortal King Realm.

After a few hours Death Sword started to emit powerful energy ripples which startled Ryan as well as his Martial Spirits.

“What’s happening?” Ryan asked as he sent his consciousness into the black side of his Soul World.

“Master, the Blood imps are evolving into vampires,” Death Sword said, as he too was jolted out of his deep sleep-state while in his sword form, but he went back to his deep sleep-state right after checking things within the Death space. He had yet to completely fuse the Dark Star Ore pieces with his body, which would help him speed up his recovery to a large extent. He was not that bothered about the Blood imps evolving into vampires, unlike Ryan and his Martial Spirits.

Happy expressions appeared on Ryan’s and his Martial Spirits’ faces. They’d completely forgotten about the Blood imps! Ryan and his Martial Spirits were able to check out things within the Death dimension with just a single thought, since Death Sword was Ryan’s Life Weapon.

Ryan and his Martial Spirits were able to see everything that was happening within the endless dark space there. They could see the hundreds of thousands of Undead creatures with Blood-red auras devouring the Death Elemental Energy being provided to them by Death Sword at a frantic pace in order to cultivate Death Elemental Laws. They were also able to see the Blood imps undergoing an evolution.

All one hundred twenty Blood imps were covered in blinding blood-red light as they evolved into Vampires. Ryan and his Martial Spirits looked at them with shock. They’d been expecting the vampires to be more human-like, like the ones Ryan had seen in books – but the Blood imps had evolved into something entirely different.

They had all evolved into bat-like humanoid beings. Their bodies were covered in pitch-black skin and they were about six feet tall with lean physiques. Each one had the head of a bat and bat-like wings on its back. Its hands and feet had razor sharp claws and its tail at the end of its back was twice its length and entirely covered in vicious spikes.

Their Cultivation Level had also started to arise at a terrifying pace until it reached Early Immortal Elite Realm, but after that the Cultivation Levels of most of them stopped increasing except for one. Its Cultivation Level continued to increase until it had become an Early Immortal Sage Realm being. Ryan and his Martial Spirits could tell that its Cultivation Level was going stop increasing shortly, as the red light covering it had started to thin.

At that moment something strange happened. The one hundred nineteen bat-like creatures with Cultivation Levels of Early Immortal Elite Realm became covered with Blood-red auras, and the one with the Cultivation Level of Early Immortal Sage Realm started to absorb the auras of the others at a terrifying pace! The bat-like creatures emitting the Blood-red auras twisted and curled in pain while the one that was absorbing their Blood-red auras increased its pace of devouring their auras and its Cultivation Level started to rise once again with each passing moment.

“Greater Ancestral Vampire!!” Yama said with incredulous expression as he looked at the sequence of events happening within Death dimension.

“What is a Greater Ancestral Vampire?!” Earl couldn’t help but ask.

“The bat-like creature that is absorbing the auras of the other bat-like creatures is a Greater Ancestral Vampire. Greater Ancestral Vampires are the strongest of all the different vampire species and are generally only found in the Divine Universe! They can easily rival higher species of dragons in terms of raw strength, while their Innate Abilities are extremely frightening. No one, including Asuras, in the same realm as them will try to pick a fight with them, because of the extreme difficulty associated in killing them. It is said that the other vampire species originated from them,” Yama said solemnly.

“What?!” Ryan, Earl and Dargar said in unison.

“What about the other vampires? Are they also special?” Ryan asked with excitement after regaining his composure.

“They are Lesser Ancestral Vampires. A Greater Vampire is capable of transforming vampires of other vampire species into Lesser Ancestral Vampires as well as commanding them with ease. This Greater Ancestral Vampire made the other Blood imps evolve into Lesser Ancestral Vampires, just so it could devour them to increase its own
strength – though most likely that happened instinctively since it is still unconscious,” Yama said eagerly. They were shocked on hearing Yama’s words.

“The Blood imp that has evolved into a Greater Ancestral Vampire most likely possessed a little bit of blood of a Greater Ancestral Vampire in its body by birth or perhaps absorbed it from some external source. I think that the limitless Death Attribute Elemental Energy provided to it by Death Sword must have stimulated the blood within its body which led to its evolution into a Greater Ancestral Vampire,” Yama said reflectively, as he couldn’t think of anything else.

“It is going to be a great help to us in the future,” Dargar said gleefully.

“Ryan try to form an Undead contract with it. If we have it on our side, it will make things easy for us,” Yama suggested. An Undead contract is equivalent to an Equal contract but it is meant for Undead creatures.

“We don’t anything we could use to entice it into forming an Undead contract with me,” Ryan said in a frustrated manner.

“It won’t be able to live for long after exiting the Death dimension, if it doesn’t make an Undead contract with you,” Yama said in a sly manner. “Why?” Ryan couldn’t help but ask – though Earl and Dargar also wanted to know that answer too.

“When weaker beings gain a lot of strength in a short interval of time, it undoubtedly incurs the wrath of the Heavens,” Yama replied with a mocking expression. That is an iron-clad rule, but if they are somehow able to survive Heaven’s wrath, then the Heavens will accept them and allow them to live.

“Why wouldn’t it die after forming an Undead contract with me?” Ryan asked with a mystified expression, as he was unable to understand the reason behind Yama’s suggestion.

“Asuras can’t be killed by Heaven’s wrath,” Yama said with a smile, which was enough for Ryan, Earl and Dargar to understand significance of Yama’s words. If the Greater Ancestral Vampire gained Asura Physique, its survival was guaranteed after exiting the Death dimension.
