Dirty Bastard (Wet Dicks MC Book 1)

Cameo agrees to be the bad guy since I have no taste for the job. If I raise my voice, I hear my violent dad. If I let him cry, I feel like my passive mom. I have no fucking clue how I’ll handle April’s tears.
“She’s named after the month we met,” I explain to my club brothers, who claim an April worked at The Cherry years ago.
“Stripper name,” Cash taunts as we eat lunch at the Hanger. “That’s what you’re calling your little princess.”
A very pregnant Cameo walks over and looks him in the eye before bursting into tears. Adam sees his crying mom and lets out a sympathetic wail.
I don’t even have to punch the assholes to make them feel bad. They all get awkward and apologize. Later, Cameo tells me she was mostly faking it.
“I’m emotional, and crying is a girl’s secret weapon.”
“Sneaky sexy baby,” I murmur when she winks at me. “I think they’re lying about that April thing.”
“Who cares if they aren’t? Our daughter won’t be that girl, so fuck it.”
When we first met, Cameo worried a lot over if she was mature enough to handle my life. She proves herself plenty capable, from driving the RV on our trips to making my club brothers squirm if they piss her off.
After the birth of each of our kids, she never asks to contact my mom. Cameo accepts I know my heart, and my mother isn’t someone I want in my life. I do send her pictures when the kids are born and on holidays. Otherwise, I keep my innocent kids away from the woman who helped wreck my childhood.
Besides, Adam and April already have the best grandparents. Phil and Arlene dote on the kids, treating them with the care they always offer Cameo and Hagan. I learn a lot about being a good parent from watching them.
But as April gets older, I struggle more and more with how Arlene and Phil ever let me anywhere near their daughter. Sure, I didn’t make their choice easy, and Cameo knows her own heart.
Yet, no fucking way would I be cool with a horny guy showing up to date my princess. I don’t care if the guy’s a rich jock like that asshole Brayden or an older biker like me. No guy will ever be good enough.
“That’s way off in the future,” Cameo reminds me when I get weird at the teasing from my club brothers. “If we raise April right, she’ll pick only the best boys. Maybe she’ll fall in love with the son of one of the Dicks.”
“That won’t make it easier.”
Cameo smirks as if she knows better. Since she’s the one with the decent parents, I trust her to imagine a future where I don’t bury horny suitors in the woods.
Keeping my kids under wraps isn’t easy. They get noticed whenever we’re out. Adam and April are pretty like Cameo but with my coloring. Ginette claims they’re living dolls.
“Creepy,” Stoney always says as if he ain’t jealous of my kids’ effortless beauty.
Adam and April are happy children. Phil often says they remind him of Cameo as a kid—so easy to please, always finding the best in situations, and staying close to family.
Occasionally, I find myself thinking back to my first meeting with Cameo. I’d been a pervy oaf. Many women would have left skid marks on the pavement after I asked them to blow me. Despite her age, Cameo easily charmed this playboy biker into a lovestruck pup who’ll never stray from the only woman to own his heart.
