“Mild?” I suck in my breath. “Ouch.”

“Relatively speaking.” Domm puts his head back between my legs and licks me, and I moan at the sensation.

For the next few minutes, he alternates spanking me and licking me, and after a while I’m so crazy with the dual feelings that I’m almost delirious with need.

  “Please, please…” I pant.

My ass is on fire. I can’t take any more. Yet I want more because he’s mixing it up with his tongue, and each smack of his hand on my heated skin makes me burn hotter for his mouth.

“Please what?” he slaps me again.

  “Please, I want to…”

“Oh, you want something, do you?” He slaps my ass a few times in rapid succession. “Why don’t you start your request by offering up something in return?”

“Please, Lanz, I’ll suck you just the way you want. Come back and put your cock in my mouth again,” I gasp. “Domm you can take me, too, any way you want, just please, I need…”

“How can I resist such a lovely offer?” Lanz gets up. “About time, too.”

I almost cry in relief and satisfaction when he thrusts his cock back at my mouth, and I lick him eagerly sucking with as much enthusiasm as I can muster.

“I’ll take her from behind,” Domm says. “Spread wider, Mirelle.”

I do it, automatically adjusting my hips as he presses his cock to my entrance. “You’re so wet, this won’t hurt at all,” he whispers, stroking me with his fingers.

I whine around Lanz’s cock, not sure he’s right, but as he presses forward, inch by inch, all I feel is a delicious fullness. And a need for him to move. Right now.

I twitch my hips in anticipation, trying to goad him into action.

“Yes? You’re good?” He grabs my hips and squeezes, his grip firm and strong.

“Mmmm,” I bob my head a little, still licking. “Yes.”

“Then make Lanz happy and I’ll reward you.” He thrusts once, then pulls out.

I moan at the loss. My jaw is sore and I’m drooling a little, but I redouble my efforts. It’s only a few seconds before Lanz’s hands tighten in my hair. “Mirelle, veck,” he cries out, and then he fills my throat with his hot essence.

I’m startled, then nervous, then I just swallow automatically, surprised at how neutral it tastes, almost sweet, and how enjoyable it is to give him this kind of pleasure.

He groans again and again, clenching in my mouth, and I keep licking as long as he does, instinctively knowing that I’m extending his pleasure when I do this.

When he finally staggers away from my mouth and collapses next to me on the hoverdisk, there’s such a look of satisfaction and relaxation on his face that I fill with pride.

I wipe my hand on my mouth and do a double take. “The colors!” His thighs, as well, are streaked with many hues.

His cum is rainbow swirled! I’ve never seen or heard of such a thing—

“A Zandian specialty.” Behind me, Domm chuckles. “You may find that the two of us have slightly different colors.”

“I’ll be sure to file a scientific report on it,” I say, twitching my ass. “I think I was promised something.”

“Oh, were you?” he slaps me.

“I was, and it’s your job to give it.”

“If you insist. Back on all fours, then lean forward and stretch out your arms as far as you can.”

“Any planet rotation, now. Ow!” I giggle as he spanks me again.

“It’s like you’re asking for the strap,” he mutters.

Maybe I am. I’m so needy right now that I crave this odd mixture of pleasure and pain, more of both, as much as I can take of both.

“I’m asking for your cock,” I murmur, looking back over my shoulder. “Your hard, Zandian cock. Don’t tell me you’re not eager for my pretty, wet human pussy.”

I don’t know where the words are coming from; all I know is that they’re making his eyes turn purple, his horns harder.

  “More than eager.”

He moves behind me, and presses against me once again. “You going to be good while I veck you? Do what I tell you?”

“Yes,” I whisper, fisting my hands on the soft covers. wiggle my legs even wider, hoping to entice him to move. right now.

“And you’re going to be good for me and Lanz every planet rotation? Do what we say? Learn about Zandia when we ask?”

‘Yes, yes, I will,” I chant. I would’ve promised them anything in the moment. “I’m going to die if you don’t let me come.”

  “Well, we can’t have that.”

He slides into me and I cry out at the sensation. I’ve never been so full. And when he starts to thrust, back and in, his cock presses up against a spot inside me that lights me up like a sky full of stars.

Lanz is somehow next to me too, and he kisses me while Domm fucks me hard. I press my lips to his, bite his mouth, knowing I won’t hurt him. I can be an animal if I like, and it will only please all of us.

I scream out in pleasure, then I can’t even scream anymore because the sensation is so overwhelming. The orgasm that builds is so much more powerful than the one they gave me earlier that I can’t even breathe. I’ve never been so in tune with any being before, let alone two of them, but at this moment, it feels like this is my destiny. As if all my life I’ve been waiting for this moment with these two beings. Like they’re meant to be mine, always were, even before I met them.

My whole body bursts into sparkles of light and sensation as I come, and come, and come, trembling, crying as he brings me to bliss.

He roars out and stiffens in me, and I know he’s coming, too, but all I can do is ride my wave and let the pleasure take me across the galaxy.

  I’m lost in orbit.

Claiming Mirelle sent me soaring, pleasure soaking into my very bones. Lanz and I have stopped at galactic brothels, made use of various species. And while I’ve never had a human before, I’m certain none would compare to this one. She’s special—rare as a Zandian crystal.

“Do you need anything?” Lanz stirs beside our little human. He palms her thigh and squeezes.

“No.” Her voice is dreamy and soft. “I’m fine.”

I take her hand and intertwine our fingers. She squeezes automatically. I raise our joined hands into the air to marvel at how small hers is compared to mine. How delicate. And yet, this little being held her own against Lanz, a deadly, well-trained warrior.

“Your hand is twice as big as mine,” she murmurs. “So huge.”

“You marvel at that, but what amazes me”—I squeeze her fingers a little—“is that you are so small, and yet so strong. How can that be?”

She shakes her head on the pillow, red hair all around her. “I’m just me. I train.”

“It’s incredible.” Lanz strokes her skin. “So soft and delicate. And yet you fight like a warrior.”

“And veck like one.” I smile.

She’s relaxed, and I love seeing her at ease for once, not fighting us or arguing for her freedom. I’m proud that we left her so content. Giving her pleasure is a vecking privilege. One I plan to continue for the rest of our lives.

“You said you trained? How?” Lanz asks.

I hold my breath, hoping she won’t clam up again.

“Since I could walk, I learned to fight. My sister taught me. And I had other instructors, too.”

  “On Jesel?”

She nods. “That’s where I’ve lived, my entire life.”

  “Not a slave.” I’m surprised.

“Born free.” There’s pride in her voice. “We’re a small group there, some humans who escaped and started a colony, of sorts. Try to rescue others. My sister and I were both born free.” She blinks hard. “I don’t remember my mother. But my father taught us to fight, and survive, and every human who comes teaches what they know.”

“But how did you learn to build a craft. To fly like that?” I twist to look at her face. “
Without flight school, real instructors. It’s impossible.”

“I assure you it’s not.” Her laugh lacks humor. “Desperation is a fantastic instructor. I’m sure you know, from your experience with the Finn. When you absolutely need to make something happen, you find a way.”

Lanz and I stroke her beautiful body and wait for more. She rewards our patience. “We scavenge, barter, steal. Do what we can. Learn from old holograms. Practice, try. Stay under the radar. It’s not easy, but every time I rescue a human, it’s worth it.”

“You’ve accomplished much,” Lanz murmurs. “You really rescued fifty-odd humans?”

  “Yes.”

  “In that very craft.”

“That exact one.” Loss flickers over her face. “It’s entirely ruined?”

“We towed it back, but…yes. It’s not operational, and I doubt it can be made so again without significant effort.” I eye the little human. If we’re not careful, she’ll be out there trying to fix it and fly away from here in a heartbeat. “I don’t even understand how you fly in that. It’s like you’re blind, without modern instrumentation.”

“At first, yes,” she explains. “But then I developed a sense for what was coming. Do you know what I mean?”

We stare back at her, blankly.

“It’s like I can often sense disruptions before I see them. Like I know where asteroids will be, or debris. Space currents.”

My heart tumbles in my chest. She’s special—I knew it. Like the king’s human mate, gifted with sight.

  “You didn’t see us, though.”

“Well, you were cloaked. Asteroids, as far as I’m aware, have so far not opted to hide themselves from view.” She rolls her eyes. “And thank stars for that, because otherwise nobody could navigate.”

The haze of sexual satisfaction must have begun to fade, or else the topic caused her thoughts to plummet because her expression clouds.

She sighs. “I need to rest.”

It guts me when she curls away from me, pulling her knees to her chest, wrapping her arms around them.

  Chapter 8

  Lanz

“I think that went well.” I glance over at her sleeping form.

Domm is busy getting on his gear—boots, flight pants. He pauses. “I suppose.”

  “What does that mean?”

“She’s barely accepting of being here. I’m half positive she’ll kill us in our sleep.”

“We can cuff her for nights, to start.” My cock stirs, thinking about keeping Mirelle under lock and key. It’s depraved possibly, but it excited me in a way I’ve never felt.

Domm grabs his bag and gives me a grin. “I like that idea.” He glances toward the storage area. “You’ll show her where everything is? Send over Kristine to help her acclimate?”

I nod. “Then I’ll join you as soon as I can.”

He frowns. “This isn’t ideal. We need to be with her full-time for the first few…to start.”

I agree. I also can’t shake the feeling that we should bring her with us. She’s a warrior, too, after all. She’s not going to acclimate to sitting in a domicile doing veck knows what when she’s spent a lifetime on missions. If we want to show her there’s a life for her here with us, we should show her how her skills will be put to good use.

But of course, King Zander would never agree to it. And we have orders to go on a short mission. Dammit. “Master Seke wouldn’t ask us to do this if it weren’t critical for Zandia.”

He nods. “Agreed, but it won’t make this any easier.”

We both stand and stare at her. I know he’s as entranced as I am with our new mate, utterly vecking captivated.

“Do you think this will work?” I lower my voice, even though she’s clearly still fast asleep.

“I don’t know.” It’s a rare moment for the both of us. Neither of us like to be uncertain or vulnerable, and certainly not at the same time—that’s a recipe for death out in the battlefield.

“We’ll make sure it does.” My voice is more confident than I feel. “I wasn’t vecking messing around when I accepted her as our mate.”

“Nor was I.” He frowns at me. “What are you implying?”

“Nothing.” I narrow my eyes. “Just saying that this is important. To me.” I look across the room and mumble the next part. “And you are too.”

  “What was that?”

“I said—” I look at him evenly. “You’re important to me, too. Living with you, as a brother, a partner to our mate—it’s…well, it’s…a good thing.” I stamp down the sensation that I’ve cut off my horns and become a human. Or lost my balls.

“Well, I suppose I feel the same way.” He shoves his dagger in its scabbard. “I mean, we’ve been tight ever since we were young. It makes sense that we’d do this together, too. A family sort of thing.”

  “Yeah. We’re tight. You’re like a brother.”

“What’s that?” He smiles. “Can you say that again?”

“Veck off. Get out of here before you’re late. Last thing we need is anyone questioning our ability to do our jobs with…her.” I wave my hand. “Everything needs to proceed with perfection.”

“Worry about yourself.” He gives me a look. “I personally deliver nothing less than unblemished perfection. You, on the other hand…” He laughs.

  “Vecking animal. Leave.”

Joking is more comfortable than serious talks, for him too.

“Take good care of her.” He strides to the door, but glances back. “Don’t wear her out.”

“For the next three months, we need extra patrols and additional surveillance of the airspace near Hectan-3.” Seke points to a 4D digital rendering of the galaxial segment in question.

Shuffles and muted voices break out in the room as all of us assembled Zandian warriors glance at each other.

“You have questions.” Seke’s voice is calm. “The answer is that the Ocretions, at least certain factions of outlaw pirates, want one of our newest warships. They want our tech.”

“Every faction in the galaxy tries to steal others’ tech.” A warrior named Lanyon stands. “What’s different now?”

“They’ve got a new ship themselves, with better cloaking technology. Nearly invisible at times. The issue is that we need to get their ship and reverse engineer it before they get ours.”

  More rumbles in the room.

“Are they going to try for an overthrow of our planet?”

“No. The Ocretions are greedy but not stupid. That’s not a wise idea for them at this point; too much negative publicity especially with the current galaxial agreement they’ve joined in order to improve their trading rights. They’re about money.”

“So they just want to get our scientific advances.”

“That’s right. And we want theirs.” Seke raises his voice just slightly. “But we will not risk Zandian lives to get it, is that clear? They would gladly take you instead of your craft and extract information. Each of you, alone, is worth many stein on the open market if you are captured. We will not engage in risky behavior. We will conduct ourselves with extra caution and care.”

When the meeting is over, I meet Lanz at our ship. Update him on Seke’s message.

He frowns. “But we’re still going on rescue missions?”

I nod. “Yes. But we’re approved to use force as necessary, and he told us to avoid situations that are too risky. Stay out of the belt that comprises Jesel, Techna, and the Midrian stars.”

“Every situation is too risky.” He scoffs. “But I understand.”

“How is Mirelle?” I’m eager to turn my mind back to our mate.

He sighs. “Marginally cooperative, but she seemed eager when Kristine came to speak with her.”

  “That’s a good sign, yes?”

Lanz cocks his head. “Not if she targets her as another human requiring rescue.”

“Veck,” I mutter. “We have our work cut out for us.”

“So I’ve been asked to come here and tell you about human lives on Zandia.”

The human woman looking at me has large, lustrous eyes and shimmering skin, but it’s her essence that really shines. She’s happy—gloriously, exuberantly happy. And it shows.

I can’t help but notice that she has a guard with her, a tall, strong Zandian. He crosses his arms over his bulging chest and stands at the door. Watching us.

  “Protection?” I gesture at him.

She lifts one shoulder. “I’m told it’s necessary when meeting you, until further notice.” Unlike Bayla, who was utterly confident around me, this human seems skittish. I can see it in the tension in her shoulders, the way she keeps darting her eyes back to the guard. But she’s also curious about me.

“I won’t hurt you. Or him.” I sit down, my head starting to ache, just behind my eyeballs. “So please, tell me what it is you came to say.”

“All right.” She smooths her flowing skirt and sits down carefully, keeping her eyes on me. “So, welcome to Zandia.”

I laugh. Because crying wouldn’t help anything.

She swallows. “I understand how you feel.”

“I really doubt that you do.” I cross my arms and swing one foot.

“I wasn’t happy to be here at first, either. Now I love it.” She leans forward. “It’s a good life here. And you better not mess things up for us.” She’s scowling hard.

“Mess things up?” I raise my eyebrows.

“We heard about your skills.” She stares at me. “How you fight. How you fly. I know you want to leave; we all did, at first. The difference is that you might be able to do it. And that scares me, a little. Because what we’ve built here together is something that deserves to last.”

“If one being can mess up a whole planet, said planet must not be as powerful as it thought. Maybe it needs to be torn down, so it can rebuild stronger.”
