Then she lost her temper and through the water she had been drinking at him. Then he hit her across the head, and pushed her to the floor, and kicked her stomach. As she felt her pain suffocate her, she begged for forgiveness.
Then Eric helped her up saying “I am a man and I am stronger than you so don’t have a fight with me again.” Then he filled up a bucket with water, and poured it over her head.
As she stood shivering, she responded “I am sorry for having been a lazy slut.”
Then he kissed her and told her to change. As she changed, her stomach and her whole body seemed to hurt. She wanted to call for help, but realized that her life had been labeled as invalid, by the army, by the country she lived in, and the standards of society; and therefore felt powerless to call for help. As she felt the emptiness of loneliness, and the pain of abuse beat her down, she started seeing the heroine as her savior and therefore anticipated the evening when she would feel sweet release from her life through a high. She remembered how drugs could alleviate such situations and as a result started craving alcohol, and so asked Eric if he had any. Then Eric gave her a beer. She guzzled it down, and after Eric left, had another. As she felt the alcohol relieve the tension in her life, she decided to start cleaning as she had been ordered to.
She cleaned the marble kitchen counters, made of speckled brown and pink marble. As she cleaned, she appreciated his house and felt happy to have a man. Although she resented the way she had been treated, she felt happy to be cleaning for a man instead of Starbucks, because of the security and status he represented. Although she knew him to be violent, she felt lucky, because the way he had said, her career represented a whore and therefore made her lucky to have any man. So as she cleaned, she realized that considering her country, her previous employers and her family, she had achieved the best she could. She imagined having children with Eric and finding joy in that. After cleaning the marble counters, she washed the white dishes, mopped the tan stone floor, and dusted his furniture. Eric had a black kitchen table and four chairs, which she dusted. Eric possessed, a carpeted living room with a green leather three seated couch, and a brown leather love seat. She wiped down the couches, and then dusted his widescreen television. Then she vacuumed the sitting room, and arranged the playboy magazines on the table in front of the television. She flipped through a few and saw a bunch of women bent over exposing their groins. Although she felt proud, to have her career so cherished by Eric, she felt she did not want them in the house, for they violated her sense of normality. So she put them away in one of his drawers in his bedroom, feeling too scared to throw them in the trash. Then she sorted his laundry, an act she appreciated for the sensuality of touching a man’s clothes. She loved feeling the clothes he had worn, that had touched his body so intimately. After sorting the laundry she washed a load, and then vacuumed up his bedroom, made his bed, and dusted the furniture which consisted of a drawer, a bookshelf, and a desk. She noticed he had placed some of her clothes in to the wardrobe for her; as much as he could, and left the rest in the suitcase. She rearranged the clothes so that the wardrobe contained her favorites, and the suitcase her least favorites. Once she finished with his bedroom, she cleaned his guest room, by vacuuming the floor and dusting the television and the bookshelf it contained. Then she cleaned the guest bathroom, by pouring Clorox in to the toilette bowl, and scrubbing it out with a toilette brush. Then she mopped the floor and wiped down the basin. Then she did the same with Eric’s personal bathroom. Once she had finished cleaning, she took out the trash.
Once Celia had finished cleaning, she switched on the television and waited for the laundry to finish. As she watched the television she saw the ugliness that other women possessed in comparison to her beauty and realized that Eric would never let her go, the way she had once dreamed. She felt happier with alcohol but still realized that she hated her life. As she contemplated her life in comparison to that of a beggar or a minimum wage employee, and as she remembered the dirty mattress from her childhood, she felt lucky once again, and decided to accept her fate with humility. Despite, her overwhelming hatred for Eric, a small part of her liked him because of the comparison to the cruelty of society. After a while she placed the laundry in to the dryer, and then continued to watch television. As she watched, she switched the channels, and then settled on the Disney channel feeling surprised that a man like Eric possessed such a childish channel. As she wondered about it, she came to the conclusion that he must of bought it as part of a package. As she watched, she began to feel secure, because of the beauty and innocence of childhood it seemed to possess. They eventually said, “we are showing a special presentation of Cinderella, in ten minutes.” As Celia watched she became filled with anticipation for she had never seen Cinderella, only read the story from a fairy tale book. She watched in admiration as the beautiful Cinderella, got dressed and sang. She then listened as the narrator explained the plight of Cinderella: having been born from a rich father, and with the hope of a fairy tale ending, she had been deceived by her evil step mother and evil step sisters. The woman her father had trusted turned in to the enemy and subjugated Cinderella through gradual humiliation and eventually turned her in to a maid. As Celia watched Cinderella scrub the floors, of the enormous house, she felt a resemblance between herself and the blonde beauty. She felt that she had also been ritualistically humiliated and then turned in to a maid. As she contemplated the similarities, she realized her name had also been changed the way Cinderella’s must have. As she watched the movie, she began to fall asleep, and eventually fell in to a deep slumber.
As Celia, slept she dreamed of a great big house like the one Cinderella lived in. She saw herself wearing the plainest clothes, the way she imagined an obedient and subservient wife to do. She saw herself scrubbing the floors. Then she saw herself doing it naked, in front of Eric, Ralph, Clint, and the security guard. Then she saw herself looking out massive windows cleaning, and scrubbing the stains off. In the distance she saw the castle from the movie. She saw the castle glimmer. Then a footman, came to their door, and gave Eric the news that a ball would be held.
Then she saw Eric mock her saying “Celia, I will go to the ball to check out the royal women, while you will stay here like a good wife.”
Then Celia nodded and replied “Of course Master, whatever you say.”
Then she saw Eric, Ralph, Clint, and the security guard leave, dressed up for the ball. Then she saw herself looking at herself in the mirror fantasizing about a dress but instead seeing massive bruises appear all over her body. She saw tears streaming down her face. Then, all of a sudden she saw three fairies appear. The first, dressed in pink, gave her a carriage, a horseman and four horses. The second, wearing a green dress, made the bruises disappear and gave her a beautiful green dress which seemed to sparkle like emeralds and little shoes made of emeralds. The third fairy, wearing a blue dress gave her the gift of grace.
As she bestowed the gift of grace she said “Dorothy, I bestow grace upon you. Through the gift of grace all your whoredom, and past debauchery will disappear, and make you equal to that of a virgin. Pure and true, your love a gift, a sacred flower.”
Then Celia smiled, and responded “thank you.”
Then they told her “your gifts will only last till midnight. At that point, only true love can give them back to you. May the fairy kingdom be with you.”
Then Celia saw herself, run to the carriage, and then get carried away to the silvery castle in the distance. Then she saw herself get out of the carriage, and walk in to the castle. As she saw all the magnificence of royalty before her, she felt butterflies in her stomach. As she walked around, she felt fearless as a different person, filled with the grace and courage of a virtuous life. She searched for the prince hoping to be his Cinderella. Then she saw the most beautiful man in the world approach her from a distance; dressed as Prince Charming from the movie, he greeted her. He had the face she had always imagined the hooded man to have, before he had removed his ma
sk. As she became mesmerized by his enormous blue green eyes, slender slightly arched nose, and pouted lips, she felt her life become filled with meaning once again. He then asked her to dance, and then they danced in the massive hall of the castle. He whirled her, held her, and she felt the beauty splendor and grace of the royalty of days of old.
After dancing with her, Prince Charming walked outside on the balcony with her, and said “you are the fairest I have ever seen, you are like butterfly wings,”
Then Celia responded “thank you, I am the one with butterfly wings because your beauty so mesmerizes me. Your splendor uplifts me. Thank you so very much.”
Then as the prince started to lean in to kiss her the clock began to strike twelve. As it began to strike, Celia became alarmed and began to run. As she ran, to the carriage, one of her emerald shoes fell off. Then she ran, and arrived at the carriage, by the third strike. Then the carriage raced away, as everything about her and the carriage began to fade back to the way it was before the ball. She slowly witnessed her gown transform in to the ugly old stained t shirt she had worn in the house, and the old faded denim she had scrubbed floors in. Her one emerald shoe remained because she reasoned that she had been barefoot, so out of charity she had been allowed to maintain her shoes. As she arrived home the carriage, horseman, and the horses disappeared. Then as she walked in to Eric’s house, she also felt her grace fade. The happiness of centuries of virtue, wealth, and status had enveloped her and now only shame embalmed her. As she walked up to her little room in the attic. She removed the remaining emerald shoe and hid it among her things. Then she lay in bed crying and wishing for the prince. As she lay in bed with the cold evening air blowing in from the open window, she imagined dancing with the prince and remembered the third fairy saying “Only true love can give these things back to you.” As she began to hope, she imagined the prince finding her, and realized if he did not, it had never been love and therefore not worth fighting for. Then Celia dreamed herself scrubbing the floor in the entry way of the house, the day following the ball.
Then she dreamed Eric entering and saying “Celia I hooked up with a mighty fine hoe last night. Royal hoe. How do you like that? I am sure a hoe like you does not mind. I hope you are making the best of your new role as my wife. I am glad to see you are scrubbing, the way an obedient wife should.”
Then Celia smiled a fake smile out of fear of being beat on. Then he walked through the wet floor making everything dirty again, the way Lucifer the cat had done in the movie. Celia out of fear, quietly continued to mop. Then the dream placed Celia in the evening after dinner, and then the servant of the prince came by with the missing emerald slipper.
Eric answered the door by saying “what do you want?”
Then the servant of the castle responded “are there any women in the house? I am here to find out if they were at the ball last night by fitting this shoe on them.”
Then Eric responded “yes, my hoe.”
Then the footman responded “could I please meet her. I have to try the shoe on every woman. Please bring her here. I cannot leave until you do.”
Then Eric responded “she is my wife and therefore she is obedient, I can assure you she is not the woman you are looking for.”
Then the servant responded “Please sir, you do not want me to go back and say that you did not cooperate.”
Then Eric let the servant in saying “frankly I would like to know if she deserves a beating. So please come in sir. I will go get her.”
Then Eric ordered Celia to her room, and asked Ralph to dress up like a woman. Then Ralph came in wearing a wig.
Then the servant responded “I can tell he is a man.”
Then Eric responded “That is my wife.” Then the servant placed the slipper on Ralph’s foot. The shoe did not fit.
Then Celia hearing the commotion and feeling the grace attached to the Prince’s love course through her ran out, with her slipper saying “thank you for bringing back my other shoe.” Then the servant took Celia in his carriage back to the prince.
Even though Eric protested by yelling “My wife, my whore, my servant, she is mine.” The servant took her anyway, threatening imprisonment.
As Celia sat in the carriage with her emerald shoes on, she felt all the grace and happiness beat inside her once again, like the wings of butterflies. She felt nervous about her attire but then remembered the third fairy saying “Love will bring it all back.” Then in the dream, as she arrived at the castle her clothes turned to emeralds and green cloth again and the prince kissed her in front of the castle.
After the dream, Celia awoke, feeling happy because of the dream. As she imagined satisfying Eric through sodomy, she remembered she had no fairies. As she thought about how her dream had been different from the actual story through the three fairies instead of the one, she decided to see her dream as an omen and therefore felt hopeful once again. Then she placed in the second load of laundry in to the dryer. As she waited for the buzzer she decided to surf the internet and look up the effects of heroin. As she read, she found out, that it could cause permanent addiction, combined with a variety of physical ailments. The physical ailments that it could cause, included infection of the heart lining and veins, pneumonia and heart disease, and they scared her tremendously. Although she had been a pornography star, she had learned to appreciate her natural beauty and body and therefore felt terrorized by the concept of heroin. She decided to not take any but then realized she had to in order to please Eric. So she contemplated her life and felt like committing suicide. The small inkling of love she had felt for Eric had disappeared from watching Cinderella. Hearing about the gravity of humiliation in the movie made her realize that Eric had been a monster even though the free market had also been monstrous. As she contemplated suicide she wished she had fairies or a fairy god mother, and began to cry. She realized she would never be free, like Cinderella. So she decided to take her own life. Eric had left her car at her apartment, and therefore, she decided to walk to the pharmacy in order to buy a bunch of sleeping pills. As she walked, she felt happy to at least have the power of suicide.
Chapter 46
So Friday, Natasha moved in with Gabriel Hatfield. They moved all her small things first. Placed all her things in boxes, and loaded them in to her car. They then drove to his place. They left the big pieces of furniture to her dad, since Gabriel already had furniture. Gabriel’s apartment consisted of two bedrooms, a television room, a dining room and a kitchen. She liked his furniture, made mostly of pale wood, and a modern television. He had a dark green couch and love seat. She liked her new friend as she felt protected from the world and all evil in it through his love and compassion. She had often felt like a hobbit who had left the shire since she had moved to Miami, but now she felt at home again. Once all the things had been moved in, Gabriel told her that he liked cleanliness and so she had to keep things clean.
She nodded, and then she responded “You don’t have to tell me.”
Then he apologized, and said “I am so happy you are here.”
Then he started to kiss her. After kissing him back Natasha, felt his erection and began to rub it. Then he pulled away, and refused to let her touch him. As his erection faded, so did their sexual enthusiasm.
She then asked “what is wrong?”
Then he responded “I can’t do this. I am not ready to have sex with you. I am sorry. You will have to sleep on the couch.”
Then Natasha felt such a profound urge to insert him in to her, and to make him as happy as he had made her, that she began to beg. “Please let me be your lover.” He did not respond and then she offered him money. She offered him twenty dollars at first, then thirty, and then fifty.
Then he said “sold.”
Then he unzipped his pants, and she knelt and sucked his penis. He came to orgasm in her mouth. She swallowed and without criticizing his semen kissed him. He then asked where is the money, then she walked to her wallet and paid him fifty dollars. He accepted
the money. Then he continued to kiss her, and unzipped her pants, and began to lick her vagina. He felt the salty, slimy substance and almost criticized her, but refrained because he had been paid. So he continued to lick her despite his past pain. He felt proud of his behavior because of the letter she had sent him about her vagina. She came to orgasm, and then they both lay in bed together. They fell asleep in each other’s arms. The following day they spent unpacking everything, they had boxed up. They through away anything discard able in order to save space. The following day Natasha began to look for jobs.
After Natasha had looked for a job all day, she felt happy to finally see Gabriel Hatfield return home from nursing. After they had eaten a dinner of pizza together, they each ate a desert of low fat chocolate chip ice cream together.
As they ate, their deserts, Gabriel asked “what is your favorite flavor of ice cream?”
Then Natasha replied “chocolate, and yours?”
Then Gabriel responded “chocolate chip mint.”
Then Natasha said “I love that too.”
After they finished their ice creams, Gabriel grabbed her hand, and said “Thank you for being so understanding with me. Thank you for understanding that I sometimes need to be sadistic.”
Then Natasha replied “Thank you for letting me be yours. That is all the gratitude I need.” Then she paused, and then continued with a worried expression “I hope you have a limitation though,” But then she stopped speaking, knowing that she would secretly die for him.
He then responded “What do you mean? You mean will I kill you? You mean will I torture you to death?” After having asked, he walked coldly to the kitchen, as if he had been offended.
Then Natasha responded “I am sorry, I did not mean to offend you. It’s just that I would die for you, and I want a man who feels the same way. It hurts too much that you might discard me.”
