  Linex laughed “You know that” he agreed. Both of them powered up and Markson got in their back.

  “I really need to do the battle pose" Markson said.

  “Ha-ha-ha, seriously? Ok then let’s do this!” Linex declared.

  “No… NO!” Alderson activated all the shields in the robot; a lot of miniguns and missiles appeared from the robot and he shot everything towards them.

  Linex and Aiden ran dodging all the missiles and running on the walls fleeing from the bullets while in one-part Aiden got shot in the leg and he fell to the ground, Linex saw him and then went after him but Alderson stopped all the shooting and went after Linex and grabbed him.

  “I will crush you for what you have done!” he said bitterly crushing Linex’s body, Linex screamed and Aiden heard him

  “NO!” Aiden screamed.

  He saw Linex and cried with rage. “Linex!” Aiden could not move and Markson ran towards Alderson and grabbed the robot. Alderson let go of Linex and proceeded to deal with Markson.

  “Old man use your ultimate attack with Linex quick, that is if you have one!” Markson cried.

  “Huh? Understood” Aiden moped in wonder, then an idea struck him. He went towards Linex who was injured and almost unconscious with all the damage he had gotten.

  “Linex… let’s finish this once and for all” Aiden said supporting his student.

  “Ai… den… …” he groaned in pain.

  “Huh… Linex stay there then, I’ll do this” Aiden stood back and then started charging his fire energy wave. “You will pay for what you have done to him… all the damage you did to these people and those who were defenseless by your hands, I will give my all in this one…”.

  Markson who was still struggling with Commander Alderson screamed at Aiden. “DO IT ALREADY!”

  “What about you!?” Aiden asked a bit surprised.

  “Just blast my robot from the back to hold him off!” Markson shouted back, as he held onto Commander Alderson's robot.

  “But… If you say so…”. Sensei Aiden got ready to release the wave and he screamed. “I have not used this one in a long while… RETALIATE BLAST!”.

  He blasted Markson’s robot from the back pushing them to the wall.

  “Wait! NO!” Alderson screamed in terror.

  Sensei Aiden was still because the energy wave was not doing anything. “No… soon my power will be drained” he croaked with dismay.

  He saw Linex standing by his side.

  “Linex…” he said in wonder.

  Linex smiled and gave him a thumbs up and Aiden smirked too.

  “TOGETHER! ARRRHHH!” they shouted, and the energy wave got thrown Markson’s robot and it hit Alderson.

  “He-he… see you… all… soon” Commander Alderson was only a hologram, they destroyed both robots making the energy wave go out of the area which Kenry and the others saw.

  “They did it” Kenry said excitedly.

  “Of course they did" Tempest smiled thinly.

  The energy wave stopped and just when everything had finished Linex and Aiden fell on their knees.

  “We did it Lin…” Sensei Aiden's started, but Linex fell to the ground at that moment.

  “Linex! Wake up! Oh no, he is unconscious again… don’t worry we will get out of this one quick” Aiden groaned.

  Out from the destruction of the machines, a shadow appeared. Aiden was quite weak from the last attack they had launched, but he would stand and fight

  it.

  CHAPTER 24

  CRASHING ESCAPE

  “Who is that? Show yourself!” Sensei Aiden shouted at the top of his voice.

  “Stop! It’s me Markson, I’m too old to die!” Markson chuckled at that.

  “Oh… it’s you…” Aiden replied, they stared at each other for a while. Aiden was about to say something to him but then Joe, Lysie and Stephen showed up.

  “Found you guys! Is everything alright?” Joe asked relieved.

  “Yes, we have finished overheating the cables and the systems out of that robot… well, including mine" Markson broke down in tears and everyone looked at him confused.

  Joe only sighed. “cheer up, you can always build one dad”

  Lysie interrupted the conversation screaming at everyone desperately. “There is no time to talk, we have to move now!”

  “Oh… yeah dad let’s go. I’ll carry Linex, Aiden” Joe offered.

  “Of course” Sensei Aiden agreed.

  They all ran out of the pulverized hallway to find the exit, but suddenly they ran into a platform, lined up with jets and spaceships.

  “Where are we?” Joe asked, he was still carrying Linex on his back.

  “I suppose that this is the military’s air force” Markson pointed out.

  “Let’s keep moving” Lysie said and they moved ahead.

  Aiden was trying to run normally but the injury in his leg was getting worse and he fell to the ground.

  “Aiden!” Lysie hurried to his side and fell to her knees to see the injury Aiden had sustained.

  “Oh no, this is bad… you should not have pushed yourself with that injury in your leg” Lysie looked on sadly.

  “There is no time for this” Aiden whispered sharply under his breath, he winced in pain and tried to stand up, but he fell again.

  Joe turned to Markson. “I’ll carry Aiden” he informed his father. "Take Linex"

  Joe tried to pick him up, but he was too heavy for him and it didn't matter that he tried over and over, nothing was working.

  “How many you weigh? Nine hundred pounds?” Joe blurted out sarcastically.

  Sensei Aiden laughed at that. “I don’t weight so much”

  “Oh I think is my arms their damaged because of the previous battle… then how are we going to get out of here?” Joe wondered.

  Suddenly a call came in, it was from Tempest.

  “Hello?” Lysie said.

  “Just wanted to let you know that you guys must do something different than escaping from the entrance” Tempest warned.

  “What are you talking about? Why?” Lysie asked.

  “Because the army surrounded us” Tempest informed her, thousands of military soldiers and military vehicles were waiting for them to make their move.

  Brook addressed The Blood Borne Hood. “You have no option to get out of here! Ha-ha-ha!! Tell me you will try to escape from the entrance? You must already be aware that’s futile! Look how many we are! The nine of you will stop us? Don’t make me laugh!” he chortled at his own words.

  “What if we do the…” Kenry looked on quite anxious and a little nervous.

  Tempest only replied. "We fight and make our escape and yes Kenry… if it’s the only option then we must do it"

  Brook stopped laughing. “Then we will exterminate you"

  Brook powered up his energy beams, Agron floated above him and generated electric waves around his forearms, while Tank slammed his fists in his palm.

  “This is our full power of The Interceptor Hunters. Let's show our full power, don’t hold anything back, except for Wrath”

  Wrath was all damaged, but he could battle without using his full power. “Shut… up… Brook” he muttered.

  Tempest stared at them; she was talking to Lysie through her one side wireless headphone. “There is no way for you to escape, we can escape without any problem by vanishing. However, if you have a plan to escape from here, then we will buy you some time”

  “Alright thanks for the info. Guys we have a problem” Lysie said informing the other members of the team.

  “What is it?” Joe and Markson asked.

  “We can’t escape the military, so we must plan something, now what can we plan...?” Lysie furthered.

  Markson coughed and they all looked at a huge spaceship in the middle of the area.

  “You are thinking of what I’m thinking?” Stephen asked. />
  Markson smirked. “Of course, yes. Let's go!"

  They got inside the spaceship and Lysie contacted Tempest.

  “Tempest! We got an idea, we're going to try to escape through a spaceship, we found several ships in the Air Force” Lysie informed.

  “But what if you can make it? Besides you can’t drive”. Tempest said doubtfully.

  “Who said I’m driving? Not to worry, I think Markson can fly it and we would come for you guys"

  Tempest listened carefully and accepted the plan. “Good, we will distract them until you all are prepared”

  After Lysie finished talking to her “Hope to meet up again” She waved.

  “Wait!” Markson interrupted their conversation. “Take this with you” Markson handed the hard drive to Tempest.

  “What is this for?” Tempest asked confused.

  “Take it to a store hidden in the city, I bet you know the owner his name is Keven” Markson gave information to Tempest.

  “Understood” Tempest accepted.

  After the conversation, Markson started the engines and Joe asked Aiden about what had happened inside in the base. “Who was battling you guys?”

  “The commander, we have destroyed his robot, but the commander was only a hologram inside, however it was difficult to beat it which it caused Linex to faint, and he also has the wounds in his body, what happened before you arrived?” Sensei Aiden narrated the battle and asked Joe.

  "We had battled people who have powers like you, and right now they are on our side for now” Joe said to him.

  Sensei Aiden looked a bit shocked. “People with powers, oh no… impossible, is it flame powers?”

  “No” Joe replied abruptly.

  Aiden thought about this. “So they must be holl…”.

  The engine soon started interrupting Aiden, “Everybody on aboard! Next stop on the nowhere!” Markson announced.

  Outside the base. Tempest, Bain and Kenry were talking to the hunters distracting them while the spaceship takes off. “So what are you going to do? Destroy your own base just because we dominate it?" Tempest whined.

  “You sure are a loudmouth” Brook spat back.

  Tempest smirked, Kenry and Bain were confused until they found out what she was doing; it was part of the plan which both puts on dark glasses.

  “Ha-ha-ha, metal scrap!” Kenry laughed pointing at Wrath.

  “You… are… so… going… to regret… that” Wrath growled.

  Bain chipped in. “Wow, I just can’t believe that they are working for someone especially when they are targets to humanity as well”

  “Right!” Tempest and Kenry chorused.

  Brook picked the communicator and talked to the commander. “Now?” he asked, very anxious to fight.

  “Almost” was the simple answer of the commander.

  “We are taking off!” Markson shouted over the roar of the powered-up engines on the spaceship.

  “Do you know how to drive this?” Joe asked.

  “Of course I do, I even have license on it” Markson replied.

  He showed his paper made license.

  “Uhh… dad that is fake” Joe frowned glancing at the paper.

  “No it's not! Anyhow, here we go!” They took off getting closer to the roof. Tempest knew what to do, just when she heard the place shaking it meant that they were leaving.

  “Kenry, Bain… close your eyes” Tempest instructed.

  “What? Oh no…” Bain grunted in surprise.

  Tempest had a smile on her face, her hair flaring up in the wind. “Yes”

  She started floating and Brook got ready. He took his blaster out aiming at Tempest.

  “THOUNSAND LIGHTING-BOLTS!” Tempest screamed. And everything went white, everyone couldn’t see what was happening. Then the spaceship broke through the roof and at that moment Brook fired off a blast that hit one of the spaceship wheels.

  “What is that light?” Joe asked peering out a window.

  “Tempest is doing this I told her we were coming for them, but I guess we couldn’t” Lysie sadly replied. They left and got into the stratosphere.

  “Goodluck my comrades” Tempest shouted after them and they disappeared from the base.

  Team Magna got into the exosphere.

  “So… now what? Should we just go to the other side of the planet?” Joe asked balefully.

  “WHAT!? Are you crazy! We can’t stay here anymore” Markson said almost quite sadly. “My poor creatures”. Markson lied down and started to cry.

  Joe ignored Markson’s breakdown since he knows he is just messing around but nodded in agreement. “he’s right about not staying anymore, but now what can we do?”

  Markson stoop up quickly “I got another place where we can go, it will take about eight hours” Markson informed them.

  “EIGHT HOURS!” they shouted in surprise.

  "Or less, I don’t know but you all must be patient!” Markson added.

  To pass the time, they all played arm wrestling, it was Lysie against Joe where he won, he started to laugh but Lysie punched him in the face and everybody also laughed.

  After arm wrestling, they started playing chess and it was Markson against Stephen; and Stephen won outrightly but Markson got mad and pulled off a ray gun and everybody jumped towards him to stop him.

  At that same moment asteroids were in the path and Markson jumped and started to control the ship to avoid them all.

  About three hours later, Joe and Markson stared at each other and started playing a videogame called fighter fighting which Markson won and Joe got pissed.

  “Are we there yet?” Lysie asked.

  “No” Markson replied.

  “Are we there yet?” Stephen chimed in.

  “No” Markson repeated.

  “Are we there yet?” Sensei Aiden asked.

  “No” Markson kept repeating

  “Are we… there… yet?” came the voice of Linex.

  “NO! wait… Linex?!” they all shouted in astonishment.

  “Linex! you woke up!” Lysie hurried to his side.

  "Long sleep I got right?” Joe asked grinning at his friend.

  “Totally” Linex agreed.

  “Hey guys we finally arrived” Markson announced.

  “Thank goodness” a sigh of relief escaped everyone's lips.

  “Prepare yourself we are entering the atmosphere they were landing, but an alarm started to sound in the ship" Markson said, and his eyes grew wide. “What the…?”

  He searched through the computers and it was the wheel that had gotten busted.

  “What is it?” Linex asked.

  “The wheel got destroyed we can’t land properly but we can still get to the ground safe” Markson replied.

  “Great at least!” Joe said.

  “Huh… back to home I never expected this, but oh well like if we have another option” Markson grunted.

  “Hey Markson, thanks for the help” Lysie said, she smiled at Markson and he smirked a little.

  “No problem”

  Out of nowhere, a blast hit the ship while it was getting close to the ground. The ship was about to explode from the heavy shot received, when Markson grabbed Lysie and Stephen and used his shield barrier around themselves.

  “Dad!” Joe cried.

  “Don’t worry you are able to resist the ship including Aiden and Linex, Joe use your barrier with your arms and legs” Markson informed him.

  “Dad wait!” Joe activated his barrier and ran towards Markson.

  “Aiden!” Linex cried and he pick him up fast and got out from the ship few seconds before the ship exploded, and everything went in black.

  After a while, Linex opened his eyes, he survived the explosion using his flames but was lying on bare grass about to pass out and then he saw two blurry figures moving towards him.

  “Who… are… you.." Linex croaked and darkne
ss descended again.

  Alexis Daniel González Hernández was born in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico. He started his bachelor around 2017 on office administration in the University of Puerto Rico Mayagüez Campus. He has been passionate in making characters in drawings and also started making novels with the characters he created. In the year 2016 he started making his first book called “TerraFlame” who has put a lot of effort to finish it. He loves reading comics such as like superheroes comics, anime, manga and look at tv series. One of his favorite comics is the Marvel Comics, not just that but also some anime series inspired him to start his novel. He will continue working on this book and doing digital drawings to give the people a look to the character appearances from his imagination and also a webpage in the social media so that people can communicate with him and to know their opinions of the novel.
