The sun had just started to set when she returned. The guys were already sitting around a fire, and she could hear the low murmur of their voices as they chatted comfortably.
She set her pack down with the rest of the food, feeling wholesome and content.
“I think I’m going to quit smoking,” Blaine announced out of the blue.
“Really?” Adele was relieved to hear him say that. His smoking habit was one of the drawbacks she had considered if she were to continue seeing Blaine.
“Yeah. I’ve only gone two whole days and already I feel better.”
Tyler laughed making Blaine frown.
“What?”
“Nothing, it’s just your mood didn’t reflect that at all.”
Adele tensed, expecting Blaine to respond with anger, but she was pleasantly surprised when the bigger man simply smiled.
“All kidding around aside, I think it’s great, actually.” Tyler shrugged. “If we ever do get rescued from paradise I plan on quitting my job,” Tyler announced.
Adele and Blaine exchanged cautious glances.
“I’m serious. I’ve changed since landing on this rock. I really don’t like my life, or at least what I’ve done with it. I’ve got money saved up and nothing to spend it on. I want to live a little, and finally I feel like myself again.” He cocked his head thoughtfully.
“I know what you mean,” Adele admitted after a minute had passed. “If I go back to my old job, things are going to change. I don’t know that I’ll quit just yet, but there won’t be anymore twelve hour days or burning the midnight oil, unless of course, it’s underneath either of you.” She smirked impishly.
“So, even if we leave, this isn’t over?” Blaine gestured by making a large circle indicating the three of them sitting there.
“Not as far as I’m concerned.” Adele dared say what she had been hoping for all along.
“Why would it have to be?” Tyler asked easily.
She was amazed both that they had already given the subject some thought and that they were all right with it.
She knew things would be different when she got back. How exactly, she didn’t know, but she certainly got what she had been looking for when she went on the crazy adventure trip. Never in a million years would she have anticipated her life-altering expedition to go as it had, sandwiched between two gorgeous strangers.
“What are you thinking?” Blaine asked, leaning over to nuzzle her neck.
She sighed contentedly. “How happy I am.”
“I know what might make you even happier,” he said, his voice sending a wave of heat to her cheeks.
“Don’t you ever get tired?” She giggled pretending to push him away.
“Of you? Never.”
Chapter Seventeen
Adele awoke to the sound of water lapping against the shore. She breathed in deep, noting the fragrant scent of juniper and the sharp tang of the sun-baked earth. It was like a dream, washing ashore where they did, a dream she never wanted to wake from. There were things that plagued the back of her mind, like what they would do if she were to become pregnant or the reality of the inevitable winter quickly approaching. The plan wasn’t to stay on the island forever, just long enough.
She shook her head, trying to clear those negative thoughts away, not wanting to deal with them yet.
Their first night in their new home had been glorious compared to the hard ground and cramped space they had spent two nights in previously. Unfortunately, it had been so comfortable that they had all lounged around until they fell asleep, without even the thought of seducing one another. But now it was all she could think about, and she intended to let the guys know it the minute they woke up.
Thankfully, she didn’t have to wait long. Perched on top of the ledge overlooking their sleeping bodies, Adele could see, first hand, the telltale signs of movement. Tyler was the first to stir after a pinecone bounced off of his cheek. Blaine finally came around, sitting up groggily and rubbing his eyes, wondering what had hit him. Pinecones were scattered everywhere around them. When they looked up, they realized who had thrown them. They weren’t complaining, though. There, at the outmost edge of the granite cliff, was Adele, her legs spread wide, and another pinecone about to be hurtled down upon them.
Their faces lit up, and she beamed back at them, pleased by their reaction.
“Good morning,” she called out sweetly once she had both of their attentions.
“Mercy,” Blaine said softly, and he hopped to his feet. “Suddenly I’m feeling very overdressed.”
She eyed his knee-length shorts as though they offended her deeply. “I’ll say,” she agreed, followed by a sly wink.
He brushed the bedding from his clothes and approached her. “What time did you get up?” he asked, bringing his lips to the tender junction of her legs.
“Mmm,” she purred appreciatively. “Ten minutes ago.”
“And you’re already demanding to be satisfied?” Tyler chuckled.
“I’m all rested up. Aren’t you?” She smirked.
“Well, perhaps then we’ll just have to wear you out.” He replied, grasping an ankle. He drove his tongue aggressively into her wet and eager pussy until her desire consumed her every thought. She moaned out shamelessly when she felt the heat of Tyler’s mouth against her breast, his tongue swirling and teasing them lightly.
A shrill screech followed by a low groan came from somewhere behind them, seemingly from the west side of the island. Adele froze. She thought she had heard what sounded like voices in the distance, but she had dismissed it, remembering how she had once mistaken before. There were a few birds whose song had tricked her. Now she was certain. It was voices she heard. Someone had found their island which meant someone would soon find them as well.
Her heart fell at the possible interruption. The scraping sound came again. It sounded like someone pulling a boat onto the shore. Blaine appeared to have noticed now, too. His head jerked up, and his body tensed.
She feared his reaction would be to run. “Don’t stop,” she whispered.
“But someone’s out there!” he whispered hoarsely.
“I don’t care! We’ll hide!”
Blaine gave her an odd look and glanced at Tyler.
Tyler just shrugged.
“Seriously?”
She nodded. “I want this. This is the real thing. I’m so turned on right now you wouldn’t believe it.”
A branch snapped from somewhere in the distance, and Tyler flinched. His eyes were wide, but Adele could see he was tempted to stay. It wasn’t a big island, so they wouldn’t have much time, but they were concealed well under the cover of the trees, and if they moved down onto the ledge below, their chances would be better.
“Help me down,” she whispered. “Please!”
She felt their strong hands grip her and then the weightlessness of being lifted to the ground. Two sets of hungry eyes met hers, and she knew they were game. She was going to have her fantasy fulfilled.
She grasped both men by their rock-hard erections and led them to the spongy ground. “I want both of you, right now!” she commanded.
In the short time it took to roll a condom on each one, the voices had grown louder. Thankfully, she felt Tyler pushing at her ass and was grateful he wasn’t easily distracted. She sucked in a sharp breath at the intrusion but then quickly gave a sigh of contentment when it began to feel good.
Blaine moved below her, and she felt his strong fingers parting her lips, probing her depths, and then with his thick, meaty cock, he grunted as he eased it in.
“Oh yes!” she exclaimed as quietly as she could. It was going to be a test and a turn-on to keep from crying out loud in ecstasy. “I want it hard and fast!”
“Shh,” Tyler hissed close to her ear.
“I don’t know if I can,” she whispered. “I want to know how close they are!”
Blaine kept pumping seemingly oblivious to getting caught. She liked that about him. He was dedicated.
“It’s not a very big island, Adele, they might be right next to us, listening to your moans as we fuck you.”
“Yes,” she said, encouraging him.
“Maybe they’ve even figured out what we are doing, and they’re out there with their hands on their dicks.”
“Yes, yes.” She groaned over and over again.
Tyler was getting into it now as he grabbed a handful of her hair so he could get a better thrust into her.
“Want more?” Blaine asked, driving himself in deeper. The snap of a twig close by stopped all motion and talk. Another snap followed by the low murmur of voices seemingly just a short distance away. She could feel their throbbing cocks deep inside of her as they lay there motionless.
“More,” she whispered softly. Blaine accommodated her but kept his thrusts gentle. The crunching sound of boots on leaves came closer, and Adele realized someone was approaching from above. The crunching stopped, and Adele could see a pair of well-worn workboots at the lower edge of their fissure. The boots remained there, and Adele was certain they were visible even with the canopy of leaves above them. So what was that person who was standing so close doing? Were they watching? The idea turned her on.
Tyler made a stifled sound, struggling with keeping his pleasure quiet. His nails dug into her thigh as he fed his cock in and out of her, and she felt her own resistance weakening.
The familiar tingling sensation that spread from deep within her belly all the way to her breasts swelled like a tidal wave. Forcing her eyes to stay open, she looked directly at the boots as her orgasm washed over her.
Hearing Blaine grunt, she knew he was coming as well, and then the strong spasms confirmed it. He pressed his forehead into hers fighting the urge to cry out. Seconds later, she felt Tyler’s cock jerking inside of her as he emptied his balls deep into her ass. That sent her over the edge as a second climax just as intense as the first flowed through her.
Only when it was all quiet once again did the boots walk away.
Chapter Eighteen
In the boat on the way back, she thought she caught the driver looking at her out of the corner of his eye more than once. He seemed to be studying her, and she could have sworn she saw a hint of a smile. She glanced down, seeing the familiar boots, and her face flushed at the memory of what he might have witnessed.
She couldn’t be certain he had seen anything at all, let alone stood there and watched, nor was she even sure it was the man who drove the boat. There were three of them, two park rangers and the driver of the twenty-foot steel fishing boat that had been beached on the northern shore of the island.
They had waited until they were sure no one was around before they dressed and crawled out of their shelter. After a quick discussion, they agreed it was inevitable that they would be discovered and to take their opportunity to get off the island when they could.
The expressions on the rangers’ faces as the three of them approached the old camp site confirmed as much. It was obvious that they hadn’t tried to be found. Apparently they had stumbled across their little island by accident when they saw something flashing in the sunlight from nearly a mile away. That flash turned out to be their canoe which had beached itself on the small island to the north. One of the rangers said it was surprising one of them hadn’t tried to swim out to it. The thing must have been making a terrible racket.
Despite the fact that they could have rescued themselves, Adele would be eternally grateful they didn’t connect the screeches and groans to their canoe. As it was, she felt their rescue was at least one day premature.
It didn’t matter. All that mattered now was the future and where it would take the three of them. As they listened to the rangers tell the story of the events that occurred after their disappearance, Adele found herself longing for the stress-free environment of the island. She barely registered the details of how they had missed the first turn off and taken the second arm off the main lake. Somewhere in the recesses of her mind, she heard Blaine laugh at the news that the camp coordinator hadn’t even noticed they were missing in the morning. Hearing him lightened her dark mood just a bit. Maybe it would be all right, she thought. Hadn’t they all agreed it wouldn’t end here? Feeling better, Adele reclined back against the seat, her leg brushing against Tyler’s as she did. She felt him take her hand and give it a gentle squeeze. Yes, it was going to be all right.
Chapter Nineteen
Adele threw the last of her gear into the trunk and closed the lid.
“Did you remember the sunblock?” Blaine called through the passenger window.
“Yes. Why? Are you afraid you’re going to burn your jiggly bits?” she teased.
He blushed and looked around to see if anyone had heard then stuck out his tongue before returning to the inside of the car.
She shook her head at him, feeling her heart swell with a deep fondness for him. Somehow she had fallen madly in love with two guys at the same time, and been lucky enough that they could get over their differences to make a relationship work. They still had a lot of ground work to do, but earlier that morning they’d told her it had all been worth it.
Tyler arrived behind her, puffing under the weight of a large duffle slung low over his back.
“I sure hope that isn’t full of electronics,” she warned.
“No,” he rolled his eyes, “just some toys.”
She bit her lip, and he grinned. He was a completely different person now than when she had first met him. The fact that he was facing the disciplinary action of his employer for losing all of that equipment hadn’t unnerved him a bit. In fact, it seemed to be the tipping point for him when he followed through with his decision to leave the world of gadgets and computers behind. They had all changed since their time on the island. Adele herself had announced she was going out on her own. She always wanted to be her own boss, and now she was going to. When the guys suggested they start up their own company together, she thought it was the best idea she’d ever heard.
Only a week had gone by since their rescue, but they had made plans to go back to their little chunk of rock immediately. Once the media hype and all the questions had been dealt with, they regrouped and repacked. This time they hoped not to capsize on their way back to the island.
There was no denying it would be different going back this time. The same thrill of being stranded wouldn’t be there, but Adele intended on seeking out new thrills her own way. She had two men who claimed to love her, and even when they did get a little pushy with one another, she reminded them in her special way no one would be left out.
“Ready?” She turned to look at both the men.
“More than you know,” Blaine answered, his double meaning loud and clear.
