She cocked her head. “We start with this damn towel.”
“Especially the damn towel.” He unfastened her belt buckle. “And this.” He unzipped her shorts. “And that.”
With a glance at the bed and a quick look at her watch, she asked, “Got time to make sure the bed works? So we can tell Bella and Dad they’ve made a good choice.”
“I love a woman who gets to the heart of the matter.”
“I love the man. Forget the bed.”
“No, never forget the bed.”
“You’re right. Our love; our bed.”
She smiled, tugged hard to free his towel, then, humming, gave the bedroom door a shove.
A word from the author...
Scandinavian, Army Brat, Midwesterner, English Teacher, High School Principal, Golfer, Boater, World Traveler, Wife.
Now, Author. I’m fairly bursting with stories about extraordinary people and amazing settings, real and contrived.
Mix in my love of “the makeover.” My characters have imperfections (like we all do) and are faced with extraordinary challenges (as we could be). How do they/we react? How will our shortcomings complicate events? Will we seek help? Will we succeed and grow from our experiences?
My hope: You’ll devour my “makeover” suspense novels in the wee hours of the morning because my stories, settings, and characters capture your imagination and your heart.
